When we arrived, the hostess gave us a half-hearted greeting and pointed us to our dining room instead of escorting us. The waitress was cold, never smiled nor did she introduce herself. For the most part, the men were on one side of the table with the women were on the opposite side. The waitress started taking the orders of the men before the women. The food came out in a reasonable time and we all enjoyed our meals. Once we paid our checks the waitress disappeared. There was no "goodbye and thanks for dining with us" along with an invitation to return, and we won't. I hate to go there but the entire service experience wreaked of discrimination, because that atmosphere did not extend to the rest of restaurant patrons which were mostly Caucasian. My husband and I were visiting from Georgia, but our family lives in and around Florence, SC. Needless to say that's 18 other people that will not return and will likely share their poor experience w/others. In case you were unaware, word-of-mouth advertising is worth its weight and gold for a restaurant.
