Double bacon cheeseburger, with sweet potato fries.
Abby C.

Everything we tried was so good. The woman said they had been in business 28 years. I loved the sweet potato fries topped with a little bit of sugar. We ordered the ribeye sandwich rare, so delicious!

Great Bbq. Good for lunch. Served on styrofoam. Not much to look at. Not much to look at inside.

Great BBQ, especially the pulled pork. Solid service, well cared for and a cute garden outside.

Great little stop. Family owned and operated. Good BBQ, just like good old-fashioned home cooking. Friendly and local favorite!

Best Bbq in Andalusia! The Hart attack sandwich is the bomb! The staff is gracious and welcoming. Wonderful food!

NASTY! Slap a 1/8" slice of steak, complete with fat and gristle, between two pieces of stale white bread. Just keep driving!!

Great road side BBQ joint. Very clean, very friendly. Ribs & pulled pork were outstanding. Don't miss mini pecan pies.

They do a lot of Christian service work. BBQ is okay. Hamburgers are institutional patties...nothing fancy or great

Golden Rule Bar-B-Q and Grill - Andalusia

I placed a phone order today for my parents and was happy with the experience. Be aware that the…read moreprices are completely different from what the website shows, likely due to varying locations. Our order--which included 40 wings, 2 drinks, and 2 quarts of sides--totaled $78. The food was a hit! My parents especially loved the wings, noting that they are a good, substantial size. The side dishes were mostly well-received: my stepdad enjoyed both the baked beans and potato salad, while my mother loved the baked beans but wasn't a fan of the potato salad. Customer service was great over the phone, and the order was ready in just 25 minutes. A solid choice for takeout!

The wait staff at the Golden Rule Bar-B-Que was nice, fast, and accommodating. The food arrived…read moreshortly after we ordered. My husband ordered a cheeseburger, French fries, and sweet tea. I ordered a cheeseburger, onion rings, and a Diet Coke. When the plates arrived, I noticed that the bun was huge, but the burgers were small. If they were going to use such small burger patties, I think that they should have used small buns. The burger was good, but had lots of useless bun around it. I tore the bun off and left it on my plate. The onion rings were good, but not plentiful. I think that I had 6 or 7 onion rings. My husband's burger was the same as mine, huge bun and small beef patty. He had French fries, and I think that there were only 7-8 small fries on his plate. The drinks that we were served were in large cups with plenty of ice and were delicious. The dining room looked dark and dusty. Perhaps a fresh coat of paint and a good scrubbing would make the restaurant more appealing. We were sitting at a booth when a man came out from the kitchen. He started talking to the couple who was seated behind us. He was loud, crude, every other word was a curse word, and was generally obnoxious! He wanted to be noticed, and he was! He stood behind our booth talking about motorcycles for more than 15 minutes! The couple that he was talking to thought every thing that he said was funny. My husband and I DID NOT. Someone who was from that business should have told him to sit down, be quieter, and to not curse! This was our first and our last visit to Golden Rule Bar-Be-Que!

I really haven't had a bad experience at Firehouse before, but this is just ridiculous…read more I would have turned around and gone back to have them correct the egregious errors in sandwich making... but no, we're currently hooked up to a trailer with a horse in it, headed to TN. So, here I sit, as a passenger, writing this review in hopes management sees this review and improves the service. I ordered a H&L, nothing out of the ordinary, added oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, jalapeños, and banana peppers. Next sammie... turkey. Again, nothing crazy... no mustard (I can't do vinegar-based sauces), add Cajun mayo and olives. What did we get? H&L came with black olives, Cajun mayo, no oil, no vinegar, no salt or pepper. Turkey didn't have any olives, and they added the oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. I couldn't eat my turkey because vinegar hurts my stomach. Husband couldn't eat his because of the Cajun mayo and the black olives. I should also add, that the amount of oil and vinegar added to the sub was, superfluous; the entire sandwich was SOGGY. We just wasted a half hour waiting for 2 sandwiches that were incorrectly made... and we're still hungry...so...thanks.

Staff was disorganized, losing tickets, other people also requested refunds and left the restaurant. They were also out of ice. I never write reviews and am generally very forgiving of service related experiences, but this was unacceptable. Overall horrible experience. Avoid stopping here. We won't be back.
