I purchased a wig and waited for it to arrive, only to find out when I went to pick it up that it had already been cut and altered before I even tried it on. I was never consulted about changing the style, length, or shape, and I was shocked that such a major decision was made without my input. The entire interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Instead of feeling supported and listened to during what should have been a personal and confidence-boosting experience, I felt dismissed and small. On top of that, the prices are extremely high for the level of service provided. For what I paid, I expected professionalism, communication, and respect. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience. Hate and racism live here.

I literally stumbled upon this place online while looking for salons and authorized suppliers of…read moreL'Oreal Professional products. I have gotten so fed up with being limited at the nearby salons and price gouging that goes on for professional hair care products. I was having a difficult time finding a specific product that my salon ran out of and couldn't offer me an ETA on when it would be back. All I got was "backordered" "supply issue". Just by doing a simple Google search with the name of the product, my very first hit brought up Cosmetic World. Honestly, of all the times I have looked for stores that sell my salon products, this was the first time I had heard of this store. I looked through the site, read some reviews and I was ready to order! I had no trouble ordering the product that I couldn't find anywhere in York Region. PLUS the price was almost $5 less per bottle than what I was paying at my salon, so I stocked up! AND got free shipping! I was able to easily track my order and get notifications. I ordered on a Saturday and my order arrived the following Wednesday with no issues. Quick & easy to order and fast delivery. I will def use them again to shop online and try in store as well. I was amazed at the variety and selection of hair colour & hair care products, nail, bath and beauty products that they sell. I wont be buying anymore products at the salon!
