The trainee did little more than incorrectly place, and then over-tighten my fan blade, which the senior tech wound up coming back to remove. *Loss of star (2) is due to the initial "repair" strategy, being to bypass the high & low safety systems of the unit. Holly M (Director of Customer Engagment) caught wind that I was going to build and reached out to ask if Kent could provide a HVAC bid, and I'm so glad she did! She put me in contact with Bob and he made the bid process so easy. I had a finalized/signed bid in less than a week and we were able to negotiate a few other items that we wanted! I reached out to Bob via telephone with questions and he was prompt with his response. I found out later that he was actually on vacation when he responded! Holly also hand delivered information packets about the equipment we would be getting installed. The customer service is top-notch! Kent was my favorite company to work with during the new build. I was able to be on site while all the trades were there at the same time, and the Kent team was always the first to greet me when I arrived! We got the runaround from the other trades about when they would start on our home, but as soon as we gave Kent the green light, they showed up and started exactly when they said they would. This was the first time my contractor worked with Kent and he was so impressed. I was unable to be at the initial walk-through, so Holly and Alex made a special trip back out to the house to FaceTime me and make sure I was informed of the plan! They walked through every room, gave me their feedback/suggestions, and answered all my questions. I was confident that I was in good hands! The walk-through was on a Friday where they laid everything out then Alex made the ductwork on Monday and they were off to the races on Tuesday. I can't thank the install team enough, they were working in below freezing temperatures to get the job done! Kent really is a well oiled machine! The new owners, Stacy and Glenn know exactly what they're doing! New construction is full of twist and turns but I want to give a huge thank you to Holly, Bob, Alex, Zack, and Stacy for making this experience the easiest and most smooth part of the construction process!

I was using my home warranty program, so JL Mechanical was assigned to me as their vendor. I had a new furnace installed and JL Mechanical kept me updated with the date of service plus text messages to remind me and give me a link to track my installation team members. They also email you a snapshot of those who will be doing the installation work. Robert was my guy and he was intelligent, patient, friendly, and answered all my questions. In fact, I've had repairs and installations done in my house before but the entire work area and my house was completely CLEANED UP when they were done. (I can't say the same about Comcast when they drill a hole in your wall) Everything is working great - it's been a few days now and I have HEAT - in fact, the new furnace is even quieter than the previous one and I can't even tell it's running. I have a newer a/c unit that was installed by aire serve in 2018 that has a 10 year warranty. I had…read morea capacitor go bad 2 years ago and aire serve came and replace it under warranty with no questions and they never said anything about maintenance than since i do my own.This morning I woke up and noticed my a/c was not working again. So I called aire serve and had a technician come out and he told me my capacitor was bad again. But this time he said it won't be warranty due to "lack of maintenance". i told him i am a tradesman myself so i do my own maintenance and asked why would that void the warranty. He stated because it was dirty behind the back panel. Ok but the other 3 panels in his pictures look clean. So since 1 side of the a/c unit is dirty the warranty is voided? Than he told me he can warranty it only if I buy there cleaning service for $272 buy if I didnt want the cleaning it would be $315 to fix the capacitor.That is absolutely ridiculous and is extortion at its finest. You mean if I dont buy your cleaning service you will not warranty it but if I buy your cleaning service its under warranty. so its technically under warranty than right? They said no and to pretty much give me no option. I tryed to contact someone but the lady that answers the phone knew nothing and was no real help once theres a problem. I asked to speak to a manager/boss and no one knew where he was or when he will be back. I asked for a call back and never recieved one. I gave them time for them to call and try to make this right but insted i was ignored. Once you have a problem seems like they dont want to resolve it.Sad to see this company has gone downhill and pray on people without a/c knowing you will but whatever they tell you. The only problem?!? Our ductwork was cleaned right before we got the new unit, we've had no drywall work done since then, and we change the air filters - that they told us to use- every 2 weeks. So, after I turned down a $1400 duct cleaning and an $800 blower motor service, the technician got an attitude, packed up his box and walked out of my house. Didn't turn off lights, close the door, nothing. Not impressed
