That move alone kept my beard looking sharp for days longer. This visit, he leveled up my hairline with fibers and holding spray -- something I've had done before, but never this precise or long-lasting. As soon as I enter it was pack, making me wait 2 n a half hours. The barbershop building wasn't the problem but the barbers. Now I forgot the name of the barber, but he had a swollen bump on the back of his neck. He charged me 50$ for a shape up that ended in him ruining my hair cut giving me a high top fade, then messed up my hairline having the nerve to look at me then say 50$, like bro you just F**** up my haircut what do you mean 50$ the only good barber in the shop is Wayne. Everyone else can get a new job and get with the times with new haircuts. Another thing it smelled moldy and it was dirty in the bathroom. Either get new workers who are up with the times or just quit. read more

My regular shop. Been getting my hair cut here for about a year and a half. Greg is my barber. He cuts good hair and I've never gotten something different from what I requested. The barber shop feels like the movie. The age of the barbers span from young to old. The conversations can be engaging, and often times funny, but they can also be over the top. If you walk in, someone will definitely get to you. They are very good at making sure every customer is accounted for and nobody walks out. My boyfriend recommended this barbershop to me for my son. I hate going to the barber but unfortunately if I don't want my son looking unkempt that's what I have to do. So... Lo cuts my sons hair and he is excellent. My son loves his hair and looks so handsome. Lo is our official barber from now until my son goes to college. He's 14 by the way. Nice shop in a busy area. They open early so go early because they get busy. Lawrence hooked up my cut. Prices are good. They take cash and card through the square app. Atmosphere is good. Greg has been my barber for over 5 years and for good reason. He is a skilled barber who takes pride in his work. Furthermore, he keeps a clean work space, he doesn't talk too much, he does a very good job in a reasonable amount of time, and he always makes very good style recommendations. I've turned to Greg to hook me up for my most important occasions as he has never disappointed, cancelled last minute, or overcharged me. On the morning of my wedding day, he showed up to my home (on time) to cut my hair and to shape up my groomsmen (special request). Interviews, big meetings, travel, everyday life - he's been the only barber I've depended on to do a great job. In the time he's been my barber, I have literally followed Greg around the Bowie/Upper Marlboro area through three relocations. Let this be a testament to how much I trust him with my hair; I'm very reluctant to go to another barber at this point as he has raised my standard in hair maintenance. Easily the worst haircut I've ever received. The top of my head was four different lengths, not on purpose. I don't think he ever used a scissors. Even the clippered sides were screwed up and uneven. I had to go to a Hair Cuttery just to get it fixed and they looked at me like I'd taken a lawnmower to my head. To top it all off, the guy who did my hair (I believe it was Chris) told me the charge was $30 with a $2 service charge to use my card. When I looked at my bank account this morning, I had been charged $40. Now I have to go back today and (loudly, if necessary) get all my money back. The. Absolute. Worst. Update: Can I lower my review to 0 stars? Went back to get my money back from Chris (definitely him). He wasn't on time for his shift, but I spoke to him on the phone. Not only did he refuse to refund my money, or admit that he overcharged me, he also denied giving me a bad cut (which is plainly obvious if you look at my head)! Demanded to see an invoice (which I have) and offered to only give me my shady $8 overcharge (he claimed it must've been a mistake) back only if I came back and confronted him "like a man." I came in as a walk in and wasn't aware that it's best to make an appointment. I realize that the barbers are working very hard to put out good work but they didn't have a support staff someone to greet you and also someone to help keep the hair off the floor and because of this situation I had to take a star off my rating overall my sons hair cuts was on point and the barbers are very sanitary with their products if this place can get the proper management team this could be one of the best barbershops in the area as for the barbers they are very friendly and have great customer services read more

Took my 7 yo son for a haircut. Haircut was pretty decent. My issue is with the barber who has a lot of maturing to do. I get it. It's a barber shop where mostly men go, and the conversations can get... well you know. I'm an adult and I can speak inappropriately. But, I am always aware of who is listening. This guy says something inappropriate for a 7 yo like he wasn't even there. One of the other barbers says, " hey there a kid in here." He says, "so what, this is a barbershop." So basically he doesn't care. You have clients of all ages and you should show some respect. Lack of maturity and professionalism. There's always somebody. I was in the area with my son and was looking for a cut so I hear some good things about this shop so I decided to try it out. I've never in my life waited for over 2 hours on a Wednesday with 4 barbers and only 2 people waiting for a cut. Then the barber named Greg had a client that was running late so he asked who was the next available. So he went and cut my sons hair and only spend 5 minutes and had the nerve to charge me $15 for that crap just to get some extra money before his "most important" client came and didn't do a great job at all. And then I asked him who's next after his client and he told me that he's leaving for the day. I was pissed. I had to wait another hour just to be seen by another barber named Ryon. Ryon had excellent customer service and did a great job on my hair and I wish I waited for him. But the experience with Greg made me not want to come there anymore. read more

I've been bringing my 3 sons here forever. Their barber is Cavas and he's the best barber in town. They've been going to Cavas ever since their 1st haircut and we won't go to anyone else. I got my hair cut in the morning after they opened. I didn't get his name, but it was the oldest guy in the room (at least 50). He asked me what I wanted, and he seemed to be offended by how specific I was, considering other barbers had messed up my hair before. Anyways, I asked for a slight fade and he gave me a 15 minute haircut with a crooked hairline. At the end, I asked if he could trim a particular section off of my beard and for some reason he srtarted to shave the whole thing off...with OUTLINER CLIPPERS (the really sharp clippers they use for shape-ups). It hurt like hell. When I got to my car, I noticed that I was bleeding so I went back in to point it out and asked him if I could get something for it. He told me, "you'll be alright, you won't bleed to death..." Umm... WHAT? I paid $20 for all of this. Overpriced, overrated. read more

Too expensive for shoddy work, my son has gone twice. Lines are poor to fair, no set prices which seems shady. The first cut (same style) was $30 the next $40 with no rhyme or reasoning. He usually gets his hair cut in NYC for $20 he gets nice lines and a facial!!!! Come on brothers, it's US not some gentrified area. read more
