I have been coming to Crown Lake for years. I wasn't here to be given a sales pitch since I am already a timeshare owner. I stated I was not interested and didn't want to be bothered but the lady wouldn't leave. I signed her document so she would leave & then had no plan to show up for the appointment. The lady showed up again this morning at my door wanting to know why I didn't show up. If I didn't show up I wasn't interested, when I went to lodge a complaint for being bothered while I was on vacation and instead of making it right or apologizing the manager made excuses and was rude. I do not recommend staying here. Now that the owner has partnered with this group you can expect to be hassled with no shame. read more

We got here (luckily) before they closed at 9 pm. And we didn't know that they actually had a closing time. So, y'all, try to get there before they close or you'll never know where to go from there! Our room was the lower level condo facing the lake. It's fairly spacious but there's several things that we're not happy about: 1. The pullout sofa is so worn out that the springs would poke your back. But here's a hack for ya - and I wish we would've done this on the other hotels we've been to - just take the mattress off and set it on the floor. It's thick enough and it's actually very comfy on the floor. 2. The floors are hard to clean. If you don't like wearing outdoor footwear indoors, I suggest you bring flip flops for indoor use. 3. If you can switch to the upper floor (if you're on a condo), do it! You don't want to hear footsteps and thumping from your upstairs neighbors. 4. We can hear our upstairs neighbor's toilet flushing and when the shower is on. It really annoying. 5. The bike trail is NOT kid friendly (even if they tell you it is). 6. There's really nothing much for you to do but swim and use the resort's amenities (kayaks, canoes, paddle board). Fishing is NOT good at all. Go to the fishery up by Mammoth Springs if you want good trout fishing. It's still a fairly decent stay for us. We got this place through RCI. The full kitchen is a big plus. And the washer and dryer in the unit is great addition. read more

We had a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo right on the lake with a nice balcony view. Bedrooms had comfy beds,nice sheets/cozy comforters. Beds were a little on the soft side. Kitchen was a bit dated but was functional and well appointed with everything needed, the rest of the unit and furniture was in nice shape. WiFi was good. They had good nightly entertainment Sunday-Thursday which was free (tips optional). They had a nice inside heated pool and hot tub. The area is rural but there are several little towns within an hour drive with many antique and collectible stores and a variety of restaurants. We had really good meals every night out. We went to Mammoth Springs, and the Blanchard Spring Caverns, both of which were very nice! We thoroughly enjoyed the resort and the area. read more

This place is a real treasure! What a jewel in this small community! There are beautiful, comfortable cabins with big front porches to sit and rock your cares away and a new RV park with a store onsite for all your camping needs and more. The amenities include a putt putt golf course with a safari theme that have life sized giraffes, rhinos and zebras. If mini golf isn't your thing , they offer a pickle ball court, shuffleboard and a basketball court. Also a sandy beach, indoor and outdoor pool and a fitness center. Want a great meal? They have that, too! Papa Dick's Restaurant offers a wide range of delicious food from pizzas, salads, pastas, calzones and sandwiches. The staff is not only amazing, but very friendly. The owners, Pat & Donalie, do a wonderful job at this resort. They are always thinking what else they can add to make your stay a wonderful experience. This summer they have added a Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings with all kinds of vendors ranging from plants, food, jewelry, art and everything in between. Breakfast is served from the Papa Dick's food truck and it is delicious! A live band is playing to make a fun, festive atmosphere. Come check it out! It's awesome! read more

Just completed our stay for thanksgiving week. We stayed in a 1 bedroom lake view condo style room. Had a complete kitchen, living room, dinning area, 2 balconies (one facing the parking area from the bwdroom and the other coming out to the lake from living room). Plenty of windows (I love natural lighting and this place had plenty of it). We had a stacker washer/ dryer in the unit, which was very useful. The bedroom had its own access to the restroom with a jacuzzi tub that fit 2 people. The facility had the right amount of amenities in our opinion: kayak, Lake tour, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, jacuzzi, gym (with real weights), WiFi per individual suite (I love not sharing WiFi, my husband and I are somewhat paranoid about identity theft and online hacking ordeals), nightly shows... I feel like there was more but we did not fully take advantage. read more

No stars for this place, the staff is like a ghost. We drove 13 hrs to get here. The concierge stopped by Sunday morning during our breakfast, we asked if she could give us an hour. It's now Monday afternoon, we stopped by the management office to see where she was, no sign of her. We booked a 2 room condo as we have 2 16yr old kids, we were given a 1 room duplex cabin. One child has to sleep on a pull out couch one has a bed, 2 full kitchens only need one. We are told there are no 2 br cabins on this property with extra beds, kids basically stay in there own place. The property has a 3 unit building that caught on fire months ago, nothing has been done no fence around it anyone can walk right in, not a safe place to be around. Been to the office 3 times and just get the run around, not one person has called or asked how things are, defintly will never return or recommend, read more

Our unit was nice....the views are great! Remember, you are in a tiny town, so if you aren't into nature and fishing and boating, there's not much to do. They have a few activities at the resort, they are s little cheesy, but have fun with it and enjoy....go see "Elvis", he's not that great but it's fun to watch the oldsters reactions! Its a nice getaway! Now, when it comes to the rest of the staff.. .. not so great. It seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. No communication there, so if you need something march up to the desk and ask yourself - preferably ask Joe Beavers, he will point you in the right direction and is loaded with great info! read more

I am an owner there. I have 2 wonderful 1100 square foot lake front condos in October. Wonderful colors to the trees and still warm enough to go boating. Free canoes and paddle boats, indoor and outdoor pools and a white sand beach on the lake. VERY peaceful and quiet. Not a resort for kids really, as there isn't much to do for them. Although they do have a game room and cd/video rentals for a very reasonable price. There is also a small playground. A few very reasonable priced restaurants within a short drive. A huge Super Walmart is about 20 miles away and a smaller grocery is a mile or so. The library has a free computer. It's not far away. Bring your own beer, wine or hard drinks. It's a drive to get some... dry county's all around. read more

I have been to Crown Point multiple times and it never is a disappointment! Our unit is always clean and well furnished. There are lots of towels and soft fluffy beds. If you come here you are not going to Vegas! I love Joe Beavers Elvis show. He is a very good singer and cracks some funny jokes. The pools are clean and well maintained. The sauna and hot tub are always great. There is a lot of exercise equipment if you want to use it. I like sitting on the porches in the rocking chairs. The sandy beach is nice, also. There is bingo, karaoke, pontoon tours of the lake, a magic show and other singers and musians as well. There is a restaurant at the resort as well. They have a registered masseuse that also gives a great facial. You can book with Bill Terry to have a guided trout trip on the Black River and you always catch your limit! There are lots of little towns with quaint shops, historic sights and great arts and crafts. I love Fred's Fish House in Mammoth Spring. It does not matter if you want to do a lot of stuff or just enjoy relaxing, you can do it here. read more

They won't call back or service you - see my reply to Arkansas Attorney General Crown Point did not transfer or attempt to transfer the properties as the contract specified. Had they done so we would have been notified by the transfer company and completed the transaction. Since they did not do so, I have maintenance fees of $849.00 for this year (April 15, 2013 to April 15, 2014)as well as club dues of $59.00. I paid those maintenance fees on 4\13\2013 and should not have been liable for them since they would have been the responsibility of the recipient of those properties via the transfer. The Timeshare transfer company(Timeshare Relief Consultants called me when the received the fax. The deal was done in September 13 of 2012 and they received the fax for property transfer in March of 2013. The Warranty Deed also has a March 13, 2013 date on it. This only happened as a result of me calling trying to find out why I was still getting maintenance fees from Bluegreen. I called RCI, and found that our RCI timeshare is still being channeled through Bluegreen and that is incorrect as well. When we saw there was an issue and began contacting Crown Point about it, they would not return my calls, particularly Ed Worthington. The first time I spoke to him about it he said I should call Timeshare Relief Consultants, and my reply was "why should I call them, I have never dealt with them." When I did call the Timeshare Relief Consultants, the lady asked me why I was calling, and she said Ed should call and get it taken care of. I again tried to call Ed(4 times or more) and he would never return my calls. After I notified Ann that I was contacting the Arkansas Attorney General's office, Ed did call me. This is about the same time that he did the contract and faxed it to Timeshare Relief Consultants and sent me a copy of the Waranty Deed as well. I tried to call him back when I received the contract and he never got back with me. Ann at the Crown Point Office said she would have the Developer call me. I called her to follow up at least twice and as of today I have still not heard from the developer who was supposed to call me over a month ago. I have since decided that I have wasted enough time trying to deal with this company. My wife and I are hard pressed to tell you what was actually done correctly in this transaction. We also feel bullied as Crown Point expects us to honor our end of the contract while ignoring their responsibilities, as well as totally ignoring our protests. I guess they think we will just shut up and go away. On top of this we paid $375.00 of maintenance fees for Crown Point, a property that we evidently had no access too, so shouldn't this money also be refunded as well? Crown Point made a mistake, perhaps multiple mistakes. When I called them to notify them they avoided me like the plague and the only thing they did was try to cover their rear. They made and already bad situation worse. I will send copies as I have no way to scan the documents here at home but I will send them to you in the next week. Originally we stated that we would be happy if they paid the Maintenance fees for 2013 but in retrospect we have no comfort that we will be adequately serviced or honestly dealt with by this company. In our brief relationship as "new customers" we have found them to be inept, indifferent, or dishonest and perhaps all three. At this time we are of the mind to seek council of an Attorney based in Arkansas on how to get our money back and negate the entire deal as it has been bungled severely, and there has been no reasonable attempt to make good on our behalf. We stayed there the past 4 days....just got back home to MO. The pools are great and hot tub is relaxing. The on site restaurant is great and staff is awesome. We saw the magic show and the kids really enjoyed it. The condo we stayed in was right on the water with views of the dock and beach area. The condo itself was a bit outdated but very clean. The beach was neat...but the lake itself was very dirty with algea/moss right at the entrance at the beach. I understand it is a lake but you have to wade through piles of seaweed to get to a suitable swimming spot. There isnt alot of activities for kids....I saw what looked like renovations to an old building.....might I suggest putting in maybe a mini golf course and arcade...maybe even a small theater. Just more family friendly activities. The one thing I said to my husband as we pulled in was it reminded me of the resort from the movie "Dirty Dancing". I was looking for Baby carrying the watermelon the whole time! read more
