We got here (luckily) before they closed at 9 pm. And we didn't know that they actually had a closing time. So, y'all, try to get there before they close or you'll never know where to go from there! Our room was the lower level condo facing the lake. It's fairly spacious but there's several things that we're not happy about: 1. The pullout sofa is so worn out that the springs would poke your back. But here's a hack for ya - and I wish we would've done this on the other hotels we've been to - just take the mattress off and set it on the floor. It's thick enough and it's actually very comfy on the floor. 2. The floors are hard to clean. If you don't like wearing outdoor footwear indoors, I suggest you bring flip flops for indoor use. 3. If you can switch to the upper floor (if you're on a condo), do it! You don't want to hear footsteps and thumping from your upstairs neighbors. 4. We can hear our upstairs neighbor's toilet flushing and when the shower is on. It really annoying. 5. The bike trail is NOT kid friendly (even if they tell you it is). 6. There's really nothing much for you to do but swim and use the resort's amenities (kayaks, canoes, paddle board). Fishing is NOT good at all. Go to the fishery up by Mammoth Springs if you want good trout fishing. It's still a fairly decent stay for us. We got this place through RCI. The full kitchen is a big plus. And the washer and dryer in the unit is great addition.

The good part was.. well there was a fan and the other hotel didn't have one and i like the mirrors and space. Over all I think it's a 1, a 1 star motel. Also I feel like you kinda focus on the lobby and not the rooms when buying stuff for your/this motel. Plus the spring fell out of the pull out sofa.‍ Hopefully you take a note about this and add on I know ws are going through tough times but you could add more. Can't you?

It was absolutely disgusting and ridiculously expensive, this is not a resort its more of a run down motel. The first time we got a room spiders were crawling all over the bed so we were relocated to another room. The new room also had several spiders in the closet, on the floor, and a huge wolf spider coming out of the tub. There were several bugs on the ceiling, in the corners of the room, and a grass hopper in the bathroom. A cicada flew in on the ceiling. My toddler was with us and has bite marks all over his abdomen, down his back, his legs, and on his neck. This is a huge safety concern and was reported to the staff which did provide us a refund. I had to spend so much money at a laundry mat to clean out our suit case and wash all of our clothes before we went home because we have no idea what was biting our son. I also have bug bites on my abdomen. Do NOT ever stay here it was absolutely horrible, what a nightmare!!!!! Wish I could give this place a negative 5 stars. Also the room was not cleaned, the sheets were stained, the comforter also had many stains, the bathroom lotion bottles had been used, and the soap bar was open, there was also a dead centipede in the tub, just disgraceful.

The gal at the desk in the office didn't seem to be very knowledgeable. She told us the guide would not provide water. The refrigerator didn't have any water either. Thank goodness the guide did, indeed, provide us with bottled water. The guide definitely made up for the negative experience with the office staff.

The funny thing was, there were no boats out of the dock and no one fishing off the dock. Our guide was nice and told me that he and other employees live on the grounds, but the owners live an hour or more away. It shows. We were turned away at the restaurant and told we needed to make reservations one to two weeks ahead. There were only four people in the restaurant. Employees hang out smoking all the time at its back door by cabins. The dock needs repairs. Some on the fishing dock are dangerous. Overall, I love being at Lindsey's because of the picturesque surroundings, but the management is very poor.

The cushions wouldn't stay on it. They hung over the frame. Was this because where should have been upholstery in the seat, there was a wooden board. Was it plywood? I noticed immediately that the bedspreads were dirty and turned mine down, so I wouldn't touch it. When my daughter turned hers down, she noticed the sheets were stained and/or dirty. She was almost positive the stains were blood. She called the staff, and the girl working the desk came down the hall barefooted. She brought my daughter sheets as if she should change the stained and/or dirty linens herself. This place needs to invest in some new linens that aren't stained. The chest in my room was missing a handle. In my daughter and grandson's room, either the TV didn't actually work or we couldn't find the correct remote to use with it. We unhappily spent the night. The next morning, I would've made coffee in my coffee pot that was included in the room, but it was dirty. It had not been washed. When I checked out, I told the woman at the desk how dirty and defective the room was. She asked if I wanted to talk to housekeeping. I said this was a management problem. She said that there was a new manager, and she was trying to clean things up. I said that they hadn't been. She gave me a card with the manager's name on it and told me to call back on Monday. I could reach her then. I did that. The manager told me I'd been offered a refund. Really? By whom? That was not true at all. Then she said that we could've left that night, and then we could have gotten a refund. This was supposed to be customer service? And where would we have gone? But since we spent the night, we couldn't get a refund. She also said there were stains on the linens, but they weren't bad. To say that the standards are very low at this motel is an understatement. I noticed that there haven't been any reviews on Yelp of this motel in three years. Maybe it was better in the past. I don't know. But in this town on the beautiful Spring River, this seemed the antithesis of any natural beauty. Housekeeping was bad. Management was bad. Where is the owner? We were offered no good customer service, and the manager was put out that I wasn't happy with our bad experience or happy with her bad customer service. She was irritated that I was critical. She had no interest in what I had to say at all. It was terrible all the way around. Except the shower. There was great water pressure.

This place is near Sugar Loaf Mountain. If you have the stamina and the time. It's absolutely worth the climb. The views are amazing up there. I am glad that I took the time to hike it with my kids the first time we were here. I had mobility issues during my last visit. There was some confusion when we checked in as they said there were only a "few steps" to manage to get to our room. It was on the second floor with a full flight of stairs to ascend to get to the room. This wasn't happening and we were checking in pretty late to begin with so I was a bit worried. They did end up getting us something on the ground floor, so that was nice of them. We did end up in the units way far away from the pool and shops. Side note: If you have ever had the unpleasantries of not being able to walk, I do not recommend, not 10/10, not even 1/10... it sucks. I am sorry if you are dealing with that at all. Anyway. Back on track. Rooms are fairly large that we have had and kind of feel like an apartment more than hotels. Beds are comfy, they are clean, and it's pretty quiet around. Some of the appliances had to have been bought before this place was even built as there are numerous versions of straight up analog shit all up in the rooms. It's like a travel back in time. They have some nice pools and decent poolside bars and food places. The wings we had there were quite good, but that's another review. There are lots of things to do nearby and a few restaurants in the area that are pretty good. One place we ate was outstanding. The best carrot cake I have ever had. I think it starts with a J. Busy place! Heck. We may be back. It's close to home and not too expensive for a short trip here. '26 - 43

GPS worked great at got us right to the registration building. Registration went very smooth with Nyx checking us in. We were in Condo 5 in Hamilton Cove. The outdoor pool was within walking distance and was enjoyed by my daughter's family. My wife and I took advantage of Tuesday Bingo at the local community center. Everyone was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The condo kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals for my family. Suggestion please sharpen the prep knives in the wood block. I was grateful I brought my own, a larger skillet and pot. All appliance worked perfectly. There were 4 adults and 3 kids. The condo accommodated is very well. My daughter had a Tesla and there was a local charging station within 4 miles of our condo. We took advantage of mini golf, bowling, hiking, grocery shopping at Harps, and Dollar General. All were located closely to our area. We drove down to the Fairfield Marina but did not take advantage of any of the activities. I left my golf clubs at home, but there was an 18 hole golf course nearby. My daughter and her kids visited the local cave.
