Rooms were measured, scope of work was outlined on a Friday morning. I was told I would have a quote by that afternoon. I assumed that was overly aggressive marketing so gave them until Monday before I called to get the quote. This is when the nightmare began. Of course, Rogers Drywall is just another drywall/painting contractor using the 'call center' concept to communicate with it's customers. From that Monday till the following Monday, I was told every story under the sun as to why I hadn't gotten a quote but I would be getting it when the 'technician' got to his/her computer that night. I never received a follow up call, much less a written quote. To top it off, on Friday, 5 business days after I was promised a quote, the 'call center' get told me that I had been told on Monday the 'technician' was on vacation and would respond on Monday. This is the same guy I had spoken to every single day and this blatant lie ended my attempts to work with Rogers Drywall. I would simply tell you to look elsewhere as honesty isn't one of the core mission points of Rogers Drywall.

I got a TEXT message stating he could not continue and quit!!! I hired someone to continue and finish. He found many issues that needed to be done over, before he could complete my job. Ultimately, my deck is done, but two and a half months later. It is done right now, since he had to repair the improper work done. I would not recommend.

We hired Jay in June 2019. He did excellent work at the time.. Basement family room, bath,…read morebedroom,ceilings. Painting on new drywall and a lot of patching in the bedroom and bath. Very good work. Fast forward 9 months later, March 2020 we asked him back for main floor foyer, 2 bedrooms, ceilings. We will not be calling him back. Broke 3 light bulbs I'd just replaced w/him to provide more light when raising the ladder. Worked 1/2 day the 1st day, left a ladder and large black "tool box" out front, we brought those in the house. Missed spots in foyer ceiling, paint on baseboards, splatter on all of the doors, floor, carpeting, (replacing it anyway but still disappointed) spots missed around ceiling fans, corners missed, large bubble underneath bedroom window, paint on window grill and glass, roller fibers in the ceiling, crooked lines where the wall meets the ceiling, (in the foyer where you can see it when you walk in the door) but the worst was finding my upstairs bathtub filled w/chunks of paint that had not gone down the drain. When I brought this to his attention he said he thought his girlfriend had cleaned it out and said I told him he could use the sink. Yes, to fill a bucket of water to take with you. Not rinse a paint roller in a bathtub. Not what we wanted poured down our bathtub drain! He also said he had to rinse the roller to change colors. Buy enough rollers maybe? He scheduled 4 times to come out and repair the bubble and patch but had one reason or another to not come back. IF he had come out we planned on having him repair all the areas that were missed. I have voicemails, text messages and many pictures to support the experience. Looked at his Facebook page after the fact and the 1 review it has, he responded to the review in a very unprofessional way. He was priced the same as 1 other quote. For the record, I talked to Jay using caller id blocking as he was blocking our phones, in order to clear up our differences and he hung up on me. Jay asked for 100.00 day one and we gave him 300.00. We felt taken advantage of as we paid him another 300.00 cash 2 days later. When we address his not working all day to get this done that week, he put the blame back on us saying he thought we were "cool" with it.
