At the Total Wine & More near our house, we could get a 750ml bottle for $39.99. That's twice the amount of alcohol for just a few more bucks! We were not at all thrilled with the pricing, but we just proceeded with the purchase because we were already there. In the future, I would probably travel North on High School Road to another liquor store.

Most Big Red Liquors are fairly consist with alcohol selection and prices. They do carry some of…read morethe flavored liquors, i.e. Bailey Salted Caramel flavors, that other liquor store have not. My husband fines a nice selection of whatever he's looking for but sometimes at a little higher price. There house brand of vodka, Northern Peak, is a nice alternative to the higher price vodkas and does come in a few flavors if you're into flavored vodkas. The employees are typically friendly and fast with 2 working during busy hours. There is an entrance off of Cunningham Drive and one from Crawfordsville Road. Beware of the fairly high speed bumps when entering off of Cunningham Drive. This location is one of two liquor stores you'll pass on Crawfordsville Road on your way to Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Pam's Pitstop Liquors is second liquor store on Crawfordsville Road close to corner of Auburn Street & Crawfordsville Road. Busy during race season but again they move folks through the lines quick as possible. The strip mall next door has a Jimmy Johns, Canton Express and Papa Murphys if you're looking for one stop carryout food and liquor stop.

The selection is respectable and covers what most are searching for. They have a large cooler with multiple selections of beer that is very cold. The variety throughout the store is nice with a good selection of basic liquors and beers most want. The prices are competitive compared to most liquor stores. I wouldn't say the savings is enough to drive out of your way to say a dollar but if your already in the area, stop in. After 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and most weekends get busy but they move the customers quickly. I found what I came for and paid quickly. Nice employees, types of alcohol grouped together, fillers and condiments grouped together and friendly staff.

I was surprised at how busy the store was around 5:00 p.m. The parking lot is a decent size, and the cars rotate quickly. As you walk in, you'll see 5 or 6 isles of liquor and wine plus cooler on the side wall. The store was clean, and the isles were clear. No stepping around boxes or stocking products. I do wish the isles were marked to help customers find things faster. The back wall is where you request smaller bottles of liquor and pay. There were two friendly employees working, and it took seconds to checkout. I was probably in the store for less than 5 minutes. They are very efficient. I like the location, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Smart business decision to build at new 69 interchange.
