From the outside this looks like just another "hole in the wall", but upon entering and exploring further Crow and the Pitcher is quite a big space. On the night I came, upon entering, they were having a painting session up front where there were booths on one side and tables on the other. Walking past this area you come upon the bar and kitchen area. Past that area is a billiard area equipped with 2 tables. Out back they have quite a spacious patio as well. The staff is friendly. The food was your typical bar food. We ordered some loaded fries + mozzarella sticks and they hit the spot after a couple beers. It definitely gets more crowded the later you stay. The only con was at the end of the night when we cashed out. We had an open tab. We had a different bartender from when we arrived earlier. (Shift change) we had to go over exactly what we did and didn't order because the bill was incorrect. Next time I'll pay as I go and I suggest the same to anyone else who visits. Great local bar. Would definitely recommend.

Service was okay not great. The food was the same. Drinks were good, the prices were decent. The ambience was a bit off. I liked the music but there were some strange songs with a lot of cursing. I never mind a good expletive, I only mention it incase you or someone in your party would be sensitive to the language. I felt like the unique songs were funny to me and my party. There were 6 of us and not many people in the bar. We went on a Sunday night around 9pm. The parking was a bit tricky. You can park on the street or they do have some parking in the back. It is an older building, so the flow of the space is a little broken up. They have an outdoor area that allows smoking, but I did not go out there because no one else in my party or smokers. I recommend the Crowjito. Thank you for the delicious drinks.

I stopped in last weekend to check out the bar, as I haven't act been inside before. The bar staff was very friendly and was quick to bring our food and drinks. Even though we arrived after 10 we were still able to order food, I was happy that their kitchen stayed open a little later than some of the other bars around. I only ended up with the Mac and cheese bites, and I definitely liked them. The bar itself was fairly clean, they have a decent sized patio in the back, but it was way too cold for me to check it out. Otherwise, it seems like a small but decent bar on state street, prices were reasonable.

Visited a couple times recently. The food was pretty good. Don't try the burgers -- they are greasy as hell. Opt for the nachos instead. They had a bingo night. Right as I was gonna leave, decided to stay and participate. Ended up winning a game and had a few more beers. Ceilings are low. Bathroom clean. People are friendly. Good beer selection.

I've always driven past the place, so decided to finally go there for dinner. It didn't look like much of a place. It's a storefront with the windows covered, so if you didn't know that it's a bar you'd miss it. The inside was really nice and clean for it being a bar. The lighting is low, and sort of a crow theme, but not over the top. The patio area looks amazing. They do have a pool table area, but I didn't check it out. Now on to the food! The food was surprisingly really good for it being a bar. The mac and cheese bites was really good. You get a surprising beautiful cheese pull when eating it. Both the sandwich and quesadilla is good - nothing special to write home about. The chicken wings was cooked to perfection. It wasn't dry at all. It was perfectly sauced. I do wish the chicken wings was seasoned a little bit more, if it wasn't for the sauce I think the chicken would have been bland. Pro tip: I highly recommend getting their holy crow sauce on the side. One of the best sauce ever! It's sweet, tangy and spicy! When we went the bar was empty, so service was amazing. I'm not sure how the service would be if it's during brunch time or any busy time.

Looking for some GREAT appetizers, a brew and a delicious burger? Well, welcome to the Crow and the Pitcher! This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. First off, this little bar has a great small town or neighborhood feel to it--I was immediately reminded of the many roadside bars you find driving through rural areas in the Midwest. It just felt cozy. For appetizers, we had the wings and the the Reuben egg rolls. Oh my!!! Both were just delicious, and I even loved the chopped celery and bleu cheese concoction that accompanied the wings (as opposed to the traditional carrot and celery sticks). My blues burger and fries were also tasty, though admittedly I preferred the apps. Oh, and the draft Hefeweizen was excellent! And perhaps the best part? Get this ... two appetizers, two burgers each with fries and a couple of beers all in was just $48! Amazing! Service was great and deserving of a generous tip. You just don't often find great neighborhood watering holes like the Crow very often, especially in Utah. This place is unique, and well worth a visit.

A group of friends and I came here after playing 3 sets of tennis. One of my friends had been here before. We were especially happy to find out that they serve food. My boyfriend and got garlic burgers and fries. They were pretty good, but I think I'd order the reuben egg roll next time. That looks like fun finger food and I'm sorry I didn't notice that on the menu. We really liked the offerings of craft beers. I got a house tequila shot with salt and lime and a lager I'd never had before. It's called the Heavy Metal Parking Lot by Saltfire Brewing Co. I'd for sure order that again. Our server was cool. Service was quick. The place is a little dive and I like the look and vibe. It's casual, welcoming, and relaxing. I especially loved their E.T. poster near the bathrooms. Hope to go back ASAP! I had a good time there.

My sister and I have been waiting to check this place out for awhile now. We were SO excited to finally make it out tonight to check out this cool space. It's very clean and the update is great! Sadly, we picked the wrong night to try it. There was a gas leak in an adjoining building so we couldn't order anything but chips and salsa. To be fair, they make the chips themselves and they were so good. Salsa is also delicious! But they should have had a sign up or let us know they weren't full service that night. The big bummer part of our night was the waitress/bar tender. She wasn't outright mean, but we definitely weren't welcome. They a have bird themed menu with some unique sounding drinks so I asked if she had a particular cocktail she enjoyed. The response I received was, "Honey, I've been writing cocktail menus for over 15 years, but I didn't make any of ours." Oh, okay. So...? That didn't help. Sometimes thats an annoying question to people-I get it. I ordered a Caribbean Mule. (Delicious.) After that my sister tried to order a beer and a shot and she was halfway back to the bar area yelling that she heard her and is getting it. It just wasn't a great experience. Stress due to the gas leak must have been a bummer, and her personality could be more dry than I'm used to, but her constant snarky responses to every order made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her so we left. I'd be willing to give it another go some other night. I'll revise my review if I go back. read more

Best vibe of any pub I've been to in Utah. From the street, you can hardly tell it's there. I was staying at the hotel next door, and just happened to wander past. When I went in, it was almost packed, with a great live guitarist. The service was fast, extremely friendly, and the food (grilled cheese with a burger patty) was awesome! I'll be back next time I'm in Murray. As other reviews state, this is a real hidden gem. read more

Crow and the pitcher has the BEST WINGS!!! The best healthy choices their buffalo chicken salad is theee boom! The food is fairly priced. I don't know how they do their ranch but it's the best ranch dipping sauce I had. Their bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. It always smell clean. I would 100% recommend this bar. Ask for one of their soft hoodies! I have 3 of them! So soft! read more

Crow and the Pitcher has become "our" neighborhood bar. From the first time we entered, we felt like we were "home". The staff is top-notch--friendly and attentive, but never overbearing. Walking in to the greetings and smiles is so nice. And then, there is no better selection of burgers and beers. Just the right items and sizes to leave you feeling so sated and satisfied without breaking the bank. Win win win all around!! read more

Great late night spot with good service and tasty food. We were visiting my father at the hospital and not much open in the area besides this bar. I called them up and even though their grill was was closed for the night they kept the fryer going to make us a fantastic southwest chicken salad. Generous portions of chicken and fresh lettuce and ingredients. Highly recommended read more

Having just finished up 9 at Mick Riley's, my group was devastated to learn there was no food area at the clubhouse to go about our post-round schmoozery. Luckily, I pulled out my trusty yelp device and yelped us up Crow and Pitcher, a mere 2 minute drive away. The bar was cool and dark and not busy at all on a Saturday afternoon (though parking seems like it could be an issue at times). I ordered a sandwich named something that would imply that I would be getting more pork than I would be comfortable with (i.e. PORKmageddon or Too PORK to Handle) and it was hot and satisfying. Thanks to whomever the bartender was on Leap Day at 3. You were great. read more

Chances are if you driven through Murray on State Street you have passed this place. I remember walking in and being skeptical. But oh let me tell you how wrong I was. First: back patio is lovely. Second: Crowd is fun and welcoming. It very quickly feels like a bar where you're family or a regular. Third (also should be first): THE FOOD. Jesus the food is so good. Everything on the menu is good. And if you like spice, they can handle it. If you can handle spicy/hot, ask for the holy crow sauce on your wings or as a side for your chicken tenders. They also have the best Philly Cheese Steak in the state (especially if you get jalapeno on it ). Truly everything on the menu is so well done. Oh and yes they have plenty of alcohol. This place is hit or miss, but their drinks are always on point. Most recently, there were about 3 people there when my friend and I came in for a drink. Which isn't bad, but it just made it seem pretty empty. (Because it was, I suppose.) I enjoy the hustle and bustle on a Friday night, fun people, good atmosphere, good crowd... but since there wasn't much of any one here, it just seemed quiet and a bit boring. The livelyness was just not here. Their drinks were good, and always are. They're relatively inexpensive. Their service is fine. Not a bad spot if you're looking for a cheap drink that you don't have to wait 20 minutes for. read more

Crow and Pitcher is a small bar with a friendly vibe and good bar food. The staff is polite and does not hover. We were looking for a different place to try out and chose this bar based on reviews. If you are nearby and need a place to drink and eat, this is fine. I wouldn't drive out of my way for it but I don't think it is intended to be that kind of place, either. read more

Good food, service, and atmosphere. It was clean and felt newly remodeled. They had some unique food dishes that sounded delicious. We got an order of Rueben egg rolls which were quite tasty. Then got some jalapeño corn bites with our sandwich. They were also tasty. The only down falls were that it was quite cold in front and heaven forbid they were busy because fighting over there very small bathroom would suck. read more

I came in around 8pm on Saturday night. The bar wasn't full but that was fine. Lexie assisted us and she was so great and attentive! We checked out the patio but it was a little to cold for us. They have a great selection of beer. I really enjoyed the magic hat. There kitchen doesn't close until 2am which is a plus. So you don't have to figure out what to eat after the bar because the kitchen has closed. read more

Frosty cold beers, golden crispy fries, and a tasty burger. This is an absolutely fantastic little bar. It's a little hard to find but once you get there you get inside and everything is bright and clean. Wide open and everybody is really friendly. Then you go to the back room and find a to pool tables which takes care of your entertainment for the night. The Jukebox is playing and everybody's having a good time. Having your food and drinks served by the owner guarantees the quality control of the restaurant. What a great place! read more

Wow! The food was great! We ate the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, the Porkatory, and 2 of us had buffalo chicken fingers. They all came with fries, but for a $1 more you can sub onion rings. Which I highly recommend! They were amazing, cooked perfectly. The buffalo sauce has a great bite. Portions were good, prices reasonable. They only have 3 booths but they are good sized. Quite a few tables. Smallish bar but the also have an enclosed patio open in the good weather. Probably available now for smokers. All in all nice place. I'm going to take some different friends next time. I found out after I checked in that the do have live music. read more

Had a very solid burger with perfect side of onion rings and a tangy dipping sauce. Excellent service, good prices and a nice Moscow Mule made this a great place for a quick bite solo. Sweet tunes playing as well. Highly recommend. read more

I am here in beautiful Utah on assignment for a month. I have enjoyed my stay immensely. Friendly people and great food. Speaking of great food, check out "Crow and the Pitcher". (ask about the significance of the name). I am hoping they get disposable coasters with their logo. I love to collect coasters from unique pubs I've visited in my travels. The menu is basic, but done well. I had the bacon and blue cheese hamburger. It was delicious. Excellent, quality blue cheese crumbles (v.s. the cheap sauce) I wasn't asked for how I wanted it cooked ..., but I overlooked it because it was so yum. Onion rings were good. The atmosphere classy bohemian. I LOVED the Crow painting that hangs on the antique brick wall. It is very clean and relaxing. The waitress was helpful and attentive, but not hovering. She was great. I will definitely visit again!! read more

The old fashion was really good. They muddled cherries, so it had a hint of sweetness to it. I also got fries which were decent. The server was very nice and prompt. I just wasn't a fan of the vibe of the place. The other customers were super stoned and loud/obnoxious. read more

Came in for the first time last night for taco Tuesday, the bartender seemed to not appreciate the fact that my friends and I are in our 20's. Considering we heard comments along the lines of "great it's a bunch of young kids". As a bartender myself I NEVER like to complain about my bartenders, but she was extremely rude and very unprofessional. The food was amazing and Haley at the door was super cool. Will not be returning anytime soon. read more

This bar is the best neighborhood bar- great vibes, great drinks, AWESOME outdoor patio with music, lights, cornhole and just a cool ass spot to hang with friends. Love this new bar/pub! The couple that runs the place from New Jersey are very nice and always make sure you are happy. They make fantastic cocktails. They have an amazing back patio with music, games, and even a putting green! When you go here you have to order the ruben eggrolls, but get there early because they tend to sell out. I believe this place will become one of my go-tos. read more

Awesome Hipster bar / restaurant. Walked in and social d was playing so we are off to a good at start. Attentive bar maid and waiter, supper friendly and personable. We had nachos as an appetizer, they were fine. I had a crowgirl, chicken sandwich. Others had burgers and pulled pork. Everyone agreed their sandwiches were fantastic, slightly messy, amazingly delicious. The night we were theere there they had live music starting halfway through our visit. He was quite entertaining and I appreciate that tHey support live miso. read more

A metaphor for the 'inability to get a drink in Utah,' Crow and the Pitcher is Murray's newest watering hole. With no big money or high end backers the bar opened its doors in April of 2017 with just a few bar stools and a few hundred dollars in liquor. Just like the Crow in Aesop's fable, using our persistence and failure is not an option attitude, we continue to grow pebble by pebble to make this bar your favorite 'birdbath.'

One of my favorite bars in Utah. A quiet little place tucked away in a nice, convenient area just outside Salt Lake City. If you are the type that love the "dive bars, this is a great spot. Pool, games, food, indoor/outdoor, the bartenders are fantastic, the servers are very kind and friendly. They even have Keto versions of some of their menu, just in case you get the munchies while you are there! Parking: Parking is in the back. One complaint I've had about other Indian restaurants is the wait...but not here. We got our food less than 15 minutes after ordering-probably faster, but I'm estimating. Everything was delicious and fresh-so the speed wasn't because everything was premade. read more
