My annual appointments are professional and always executed in a timely manner. I came in once (not scheduled) for professional advice about a reoccurring stye I kept getting in the same spot, and advanced eye care took me right in. I was given a price friendly eye lid cleanser to help with my stye, as well as info on where I can buy the wash + drops if I run out and cannot make it back in to get more. Ever since I started using the eyelid spray, I've not had any styes since! Before nothing was working: hot compress, wearing glasses only with no eye makeup, eye drops, etc, I tried all the self help ways I could google and nothing worked. As a dry eye, contact wearing patient, I'm always looking for helpful ways in which I can get relief. Advanced eye care always takes great care of me, and the entire staff is such a pleasure to visit with each time.

Walked in and office staff was so friendly as I wanted to verify they accepted eye care insurance plan. They did made appointment and went in few days later. Easy check in - barely any wait. They explained process and introduced themselves Dr Stam's exam was one of the best and thorough I've had. So helpful and responded to questions, explained process reviewed the pictures of my eyes and explained it all. Oh the contact exam was great. I requested change from monthly to daily wear. He went through a couple pairs with me to see what worked best. Provided a weak sample. Wonderful.

I went to Trillium 3 times as my glass were so uncomfortable and painful I couldn't even wear them. Every time an adjustment was made a different part of the glasses caused pain. In addition these are progressive glasses and when the adjustments were made they didn't fit on my nose correctly which caused issues - I can only see farsighted. When the last adjustment was made I was rather concerned and asked 'what if I can't wear these'-I was told to check Amazon for some kind of eyeglass gear and if needed to call the manufacturer. Although effort was made to fix my glasses I don't see why I should be searching for something to fix my glasses nor call anyone. I purchased the glasses from Trillium, although you may not be legally liable, I would expect much more than this. Well I got arm guards for the arms of the glasses and it didn't work. Now I have scaley, red soars on the sides of my head and they hurt.

Everything was very efficient and easy to follow. They only allow a few patients/clients in the place at once. Since there was only one doctor working today, I had to wait a bit in between my exam. My eye was swollen, my vision started to become blurry, and it was uncomfortable. I called Atlantic Eye Institute to see if they could fit me in for a same day appointment. I was NOT holding out hope, but when I called I was pleasantly surprised they had something open that afternoon. When I arrived I filled out virtual paperwork, and then waited in the lobby until my name was called. I can't remember the nurse I had, but she was pleasant, asked a bunch of questions regarding the state of my eye, did some observations, and then walked me to an open room. Dr. Diaz came in happy as a clam. Greeted me with a nurse. I told her I was sorry that my eye looked disgusting and she smiled and said these are interesting to us. So that made me feel somewhat better. After looking at my eye, she decided to drain the stye, due to the size, the discomfort I was having. It didn't hurt, she prescribed me a steroid antibiotic cream, and made me a follow up appointment and I was on my way. I was happy and grateful they could fit me in on the same day, because I was miserable before I came in.

He told me what I needed, and how I'd be able to see much better to drive. of course, insurance didn't pay for it, so I was out well over $200. The new glasses order took almost 5 weeks to come in! I've worn glasses for 50 years and it never took more than 2 weeks for a new pair, until now! so now with the second pair the young man sold me on, I can't even see the lines on the road! I was sure it must have been the wrong prescription, but went back today to have them checked, and the optician had them made with just distance vision! absolutely NOT what I wanted! so, today's optician Nico said the only solution was to remake the glasses with entire prescription for progressives. so, now I'm out another $171.00! The visit was well over 2 hours. While I was waiting I notice a testing room with a window and it was dark and 2 young ladies were in there talking they were there about 10 mins and got up & left. One of the girls came back to the waiting area I was in and called me back. The front desk staff were very friendly, nice & willing to help. The building was very odd shaped which made it difficult to find the front door. I've decided to find another eye specialist.
