I was up all night coughing, exhausted from the cold and went to Urgent Care. They took my insurance. The health care professionals really listened to me, treated me with respect, conducted both flu and Covid test (both negative) and gave me a diagnosis with a "surprising" addition. The addition is both ears have inner ear infections! Now I know why I have headaches and dizziness. The staff is attentive and spoke with clear plan language that I could understand. They told me what I needed to do and meds to take for the next week. It has been one day since going to Urgent Care, and I feel that I am on the road to recovery. read more

The staff are competent but the charges are outlandish. For example, if you have a high deductible plan and need anti-biotics, they will end up charging you over $300 merely for inspecting you. No cash discount, no due date to pay, and no options. They send you a link to pay by phone which does not work. When you get a bill by mail, you can try to call the phone number listed but no one ever picks. Very incompetent operation. read more

Not only did they degrade me and brag to me that they never had an infected piercing, they gave me the wrong amount of days for my medication. My actual doctor told me 10-14 days and they gave me 7 days in the prescription they filled out. Waste of money and time. Doctor touched me without gloves and after being on the laptop. (Did not wash or sanitize hands) They got within a foot of me for no reason other to tell me I shouldn't have gotten a piercing. (Okay? So weird.) Are you looking for any bedside manner, empathy, or any level of understanding, especially during the pandemic? Literally go anywhere else. I called this urgent care clinic two days before arrival and let them know we had been driving across the country in areas with no mask mandates/social distancing protocols and were looking to get a test upon arrival in Omaha. The woman I originally spoke to on the phone was incredibly understanding, kind, and told us to come in on the following Monday for a test. We pulled up to the clinic and I called to let them know we're here, as she instructed. I was immediately questioned as to why I wanted a test and told I don't qualify for a rapid test - totally fine! We'll take a normal one. Then a nurse comes out to our car and immediately started BERATING us, saying we have no right to get a test, we have to quarantine for two weeks, there's not enough tests for us to get them, and that they REFUSE to give us a test. I tried to explain multiple times that we had only come because THEIR OWN staff had told us it's totally okay to. She eventually "passed us along" to another nurse because she "couldn't handle us" who thankfully took some time to understand why we were frustrated. I'm not sitting here denying their rules, if that's their protocol, that's fine. My issue is that, rather than coming and helping us understand our best course of action to maintain our healthcare, she came out immediately on the defensive, wanting to make us feel stupid (during a global pandemic, mind you!). People are coming to your clinic because they are scared and confused and your staff did not help, but rather made me even more terrified. Anybody reading this, go to Test Nebraska - much kinder and understanding nurses and staff. read more

I was helped very quickly upon my arrive and front desk staff was kind and concerned. When I was taken to the back the RNA was also very kind and even though the tests sucked she reassured me the whole time. Went with fever needing ua for suspected bladder infection. Receptionist called me up checked my oxygen level and said I had to go to hospital because my oxygen was too low (94) and they didn't have any oxygen. She sent me to hospital that she said my doctor goes to when I wanted to go to a closer one. 3 1/2 hours later was diagnosed with kidney infection after several unnecessary tests at hospital. ER and my doctor's nurse said that was not too low and Doctors don't make rounds at hospital. Curious why the receptionist checked my level when I went in with fever and sent me away at night if I needed oxygen?? read more

Came in for an infected finger and waited over an hour and a half for them to see us. Instead of telling us our insurance didn't go through they waited 45 minutes before asking for it again. Their WiFi is also password locked and they did not provide a password for guests making it so that emailing insurance information was difficult. They seem to only have three rooms available for guests and we're turning customers with serious injuries away 2 and a half hours before close. Awful service. read more

Dr. Gabriel was the worst Dr. I have had the chance to be diagnosed by. I went in with severe chest congestion and fluid in ears. He prescribed nothing! My wife was told to post a negative review by the staff, and was also told that 10 other people would post negative reviews today too, so here we go. My pregnant wife has a sinus infection and was instructed by her doctor to go to an urgent care to get antibiotics because she had to work until 7. She showed up at 7:25 when they close at 8:00 and was turned away because the 2 patients they had at that point was apparently enough for them and they wanted to go home. They told her to go to 40th and Farnham... We live in Millard and already went out of our way to go here. The website says they take their last patient 15 minutes before closing but that's clearly not accurate. I wouldn't waste my time coming here because it's likely that staff will be tired and not want to work any more. They were incredibly rude and even laughed at my wife before even knowing or asking why she was coming in. read more

I needed a covid test and they were open later that fit my schedule. I got a test and then did another test as they said it my not be accurate. Nearly $400 was the bill. I just can't believe they are charging this! This puts me in a very unfortunate spot with finances. I thought covid tests are free? the customer service was absolutely horrible. the people working were slacking off, swearing in the waiting room desk area and doing anything but their work. it took over an hour to get tested for a simple test as i was waiting in the room for at least 30 minutes with no sign of urgency. when i asked a simple question i was answered in a rude tone from the nurse who has absolutely no empathy or understanding of what it means to be in the medical field. everyone working here was short and stuck up. half of the people were not wearing their masks correctly around the clinic and this is a covid testing center. i would have asked to speak with someone to complain but no one seemed to care about the way the clinic ran. very unprofessional. read more

Front desk person was kind. The nurse aide that took me to exam room forgot to ask about medication history and allergies. Proceeded to give me attitude when I asked him to change his gloves (twice) due to touching door knobs, cabinets, and trash can and I didn't want his contaminated gloves near me during nasal swab. Responded to my request with, "well, it's not a sterile procedure, but whatever." I was baffled. The physician was not very approachable. He requested for me to sit on the exam table where they obviously didn't change the covering, but by that point I wanted to keep my mouth shut. He removed one side of my mask abruptly; no explanation or warning. It was uncomfortable. read more

This is by far the nicest urgent care that I've ever been to! I'm not from around here, but from observation, it seems like this place just recently opened. I really love the look of the outside and the inside. It's super inviting and everything is brand new and really nice. I like the sit area and all the decor that they chose. I love how clean this place is. Obviously when you're sick, the last place you want to be is somewhere that seems germy. There is hand sanitizer everywhere and it's great haha... that's the germaphobe in me. I can't remember the woman's name at the front desk, but she was very nice and personable. She got me taken care of really quickly and set me up with some forms to fill out. I waited for a couple minutes and she took me back and asked me a few questions about my visit. I don't remember the name of the nurse practitioner either, but she was super friendly as well and also got me taken care of very quickly! She answered all my questions I had. She got my meds faxed over right away and by the time I walked to Walgreens, they were already getting my prescription together. I had such a pleasant experience here! read more

Went here to get a covid test and when trying to explain when we were in contact with the person last, they kelp pointing to a piece of paper taped to the window and said to read it. Then the doctor came rushing around the corner and started being rude to us about if you don't have symptoms or it has been 5 days since the last visit to the person who has covid then to wait for 5 days. Don't bother... Went in sick with the flu, ear infection and laryngitis. I told the doctor (Carmen Magistro) that I had taken a week of Coilidal Silver and it directly counteracts any penicillin. So he prescribed me Amoxicillin and later I find out it's part of the penicillin family. I go back to the clinic because I still have the infection and they say it's been over 10 days (it had been about 14) and they can't see me again on the previous tab. How incredibly irresponsible of this doctor to prescribe me something that counteracts something I told him I was taking and advised him it counteracts. At this point, I will be looking to file a formal complaint. No doctor like Carmen Magistro should be practicing medicine if he can't understand something that basic - or he didn't listen. I had to take my son there for an issue of a rather personal nature. We were seen quickly, the waiting area was nice and clean, and the receptionist was the nicest one I've seen other than at my doctor's office. (I mean really nice- she treated me like a person, not a bother. I was truly impressed with her professionalism and personality.) My son did mention that his doctor didn't react very positively when my son named our family physician. My son said he made a rather disgusted face, which confused and worried him. Perhaps it was a mistake on my son's part, but it would be advisable to have the staff keep their personal opinions of other medical practitioners to themselves.... Thus, I am taking one star off. My son is LD, and when the doctor looked displeased, it caused him a bit of stress. Other than that, I will be back there if there is a need. With three young adult males in the house, I bet they'll see more of me than they'd like! :) read more

I am new to the area and have not found a primary care provider so came to Crossroads for tow separate reasons in the span of two weeks. Each time the staff has been very helpful, polite and professional. When I came a second time the followed up on a previous condition to see if I had improved. This facility had the worst customer service I have EVER experienced at a medical facility. We needed to get covid tested for travel and I had called my niece's insurance prior to be sure that there were no "medically necessary" restrictions on the coverage. I understand that if insurance denies a claim there is financial responsibility, but to tell me that they would not even bill after I called and had a reference number was ridiculous. I was literally laughed at on the phone and once I got there they were equally difficult and I ended up waiting 30 minutes before deciding to cancel the appointment and go to their bellevue location that had NONE of the same policies or attitude when I was there for myself yesterday. I have been to many urgent care facilities before and this was one of the best. I slipped and fell, landing on my elbow and splitting the skin clean open. I was seen within the first 10 minutes of being there and although they were busy, I was checked up on frequently. I was helped/treated by Nikki, Anja and Tamika, some awesome women! Nikki was super friendly, Tamika made the vitals and medical history process a breeze and Anja made the procedure painless and easy. They got me fixed up and on my way in about an hour and a half. If I would have gone to an emergency room I wouldn't have even been seen in that amount of time and would have paid ten times as much. Thanks ladies! read more

Anna checked me out and told me what I had and how to deal with the pain. Everyone was super helpful and the service was great. You also park right in front of the front door. The people here are super nice. That isn't what this review is about. I really want to get the word out though because I received an antibiotic here called ciprofloxacin for a UTI. Within 24 hours, my healthy 48 year old body (minus a uti) was comparable to an arthritic 90 year old. It's been over two weeks, I can't stand, walk, or use my arms and that's just a few of the side effects. This is a dangerous drug, don't take it. They say it's like trying to kill a fly with a machine gun. There are other options available!! If this clinic/doctor believes that cipro is a good option, just be warned if you go. My daughter went into Crossroads Urgent Care yesterday--she is a student at Creighton and had come down with what our local family physician referred to as "classic flu symptoms". He wanted to make sure that she was actually seen, however, to rule out pneumonia or strep. The physician's assistant at Crossroads told her there's no way she has the flu because she was "too chipper", didn't even swab her for the flu! We will not be going back. read more
