This is a good store but if you're a seller, they are big on labels and will reject a lot of things if they aren't "brand." They won't take anything off-season. They do NOT take jewelry either. If you're shopping, the selection is good and interesting and there are bargains to be had here and there but it's not necessarily budget. It's a resale shop for sure. Highly recommend stopping by this thrift shop! Spacious shop with lots of racks to look through, one of the more organized thrift shops (organized by size and style). Parking is offered in front of the shop (limited) and more street parking available. Found good gems to add to my closet. I frequently trade/sell/buy at this location. They typically ask if you would like to be with the items during the intake process, to which I responded with no. After the buyer determined what items would be received I just simply asked why the other items were passed on, just so I know what styles they are looking for and/or if something is just too worn. The buyer said, "because there aren't tags on the rest so we can't take them". I then take the tops out and show her the tags on the items, since per what she said that was the issue regarding the inadequacy. She then said, "Oh well it isn't in our price range for buying right now". I can understand that being the reasoning for passing, but why wasn't that said instead of no tags?! It is strange how one thing was communicated, disproved, then switched up on the reasoning. Again, if they are too cheap to buy then communicate that as is, but to say no tags when we are both looking directly at them is embarrassing, like that's how you were trained, weird. read more

I rarely write reviews, but it needs to be known... This is not a business who welcomes black people. Save your time and dollars and shop elsewhere. I have sold and shopped here multiple times. Not once have I been greeted upon entering, nor given through instructions on what they accept vs what they don't. Many of the clothes I brought in fit the description/ brand according to the website and similar items I seen as I browsed the store. They accepted only 3 items claiming the rest were more "harsh styles" that would be "hard to sale." Much of what I brought in was bought new last year... still very much in style. At first I thought nothing of it, then after my second visit I knew they were flat out racist or on their way to being it. Its 2025! read more

Crossroads really came through for me today. I ended up getting offered $15.50 in cash for two items. I feel that Crossroads paid me very fairly, especially considering the fact that another local sell/trade store recently paid me $24 for TEN items. I Will 100% only be going here to sell my clothes in the future. The buyer (Elise) was very personable and kindly explained the details behind their selection process. Good finds doe that don't break the bank! This place is so lively and has a great welcoming atmosphere. The store is spacious but still has a lot of good finds! Staff are supper friendly and seem actually like they are treated well! They answer any questions with a smile! The products here are amazing! Last time I went I found several things but didn't have to spend a lot! My favorite thing I bought was some high top vans in my size (yippee) that where only 15 bucks! Fifteen bucks for vans? Are you kidding me take my money! Haha. This store deserves nothing but 5 stars and don't let the negative reviews sway you! I really like Crossroads. Ever since thrifting and reselling online took off a few years ago, most thrift stores are so picked over. I'm sick of it, so it's nice to find resale/consignment stores that aren't a rip off like most depop sellers (lol). I'm happy to pay a little bit more for something at Crossroads that's already been looked at than having to rummage through gross stuff at goodwill, but admittedly sometimes the prices are a ~little~ high for what I think is fair. Generally they have a good selection of stuff. The actual resale part is easy, just type in your number and shop around until they text you. They've taken a bunch of my stuff before and actually pay you. Plato's literally gave me $4 for a bag full of stuff once Definitely worth checking out! read more

The buyers were all really kind, and they explained to me why certain things weren't chosen and why certain things were! I appreciate how encouraging they seem to be, especially since I come off very introverted. I've been in consignment shops where employees come off super inpatient or judgmental..... /Most/ of them didn't give off that "I'm too cool to talk to you" vibe that can be typical of clothing retail environments ". I hope they continue to function as a successful business, because this is such an easy way to trade clothing for new styles so that we can be more sustainable and responsible with fashion. read more

Overpriced and on top of that have weird hidden fees. The Colorado House literally passed HB24-1151 (which is a ban on junk fees that lead to deceptive trade practices, like what this store is doing). Hopefully that bill passes in the Senate and gets implemented soon because it is SO frustrating to be misled on price. read more

I came in on a whim with a bag of clothes. I didn't think they would take anything Buuuut they took it all!! The resellers are friendly and on point with customer service. I was paid out far more than expected. This is my new place to bring in items, not only because I received a fair compensation, but because of how excellent I was treated by everyone. read more

The store is dangerous because every time I go in there I leave with something so freaking cute for a affordable price. I like shopping at stores like this because every time we go in there is something new! they have a wide selection of men's women's shoes accessory's, bags, and even designer! I got a brand new pair of Jordans for $60!!!!!! Ugh I could go on and on. As for selling they offer a great deal in cash or store credit. Each and everyone of the workers have been polite, friendly, and accommodating. Service is terrible especially trying to sell clothes came in today at 10am when the store first opened trying to sell. Keep in mind I have 1 bag of maybe 3-4 vintage pieces and the guy behind me had 3-4 full sized bags filled with clothes. The guy behind me says I got here first knowing that he watched the guy open the door and wanted to take his sweet time walking in and the opener started to defend the guy insisting he should go first I'm a half black man and of course the man behind me was white. White supremacy seems to be very high in this area of broadway nowadays not very professional of the opener didn't even greet me or tell me to sign in to sell. Also I've been here multiple times trying to sell and it usually takes a hour to 2 hours to even get your name called if you want to sell and from my understanding it's first to sign in is the first served on very disappointed with my passed experiences the passed few days. read more

Was so excited to have a crossroads! However no one tells you how it works they just let you do it all on the ipad, even tho they stand right there lol. Then you have to wait for them to even take your items to look at them so you can't leave while they are looking which is frustrating. What's also frustrating is hearing the employees loudly say "wtf" while working. Not professional or appropriate. Maybe for a bar but made waiting not worth it and will consign in more welcoming efficient places in Denver! read more

The sellers talked badly about my clothes I was bringing to sell in earshot.

The staff is friendly fun and knowledgeable. The inventory is pretty sub par unless you enjoy holes and stains. It demonstrates their struggle to get good inventory. While I was trying on clothes I read the 3% surcharge sign conveniently located inside the dressing room. Crossroads business model is so weak that they are unable to cover their costs so they add an additional 3% charge to anything you buy at the store. Does this make sense for a company that buys clothes at 30% of the market rate. Why don't you get a better accountant or create a better business model instead of adding sneaky charges to the people that injecting cash flow into your company. People buy used clothing to save money not to screwed out of an extra 3% by a corporations sneaky charge. I hope your business is replaced by a local who cares. Again, the staff is great. Great selection, BUT...came here to sell on a weekend (5 minutes after open) and expected a bit of a wait. The buyers were moving so slowly 5 people ahead of us left since we had been waiting so long. They were working on customers who had 1 small bag to sell, and another customer had one ikea size bag. We were going to leave as well but since we were then next in line, we stayed. Sold at other locations for YEARS and have never seen such disregard or disrespect for the people waiting to sell. It took the buyer over 2 HOURS to get through my two bags. The buyers were chatting the whole time-fine if you're working while you do it-but they would stop processing customers bags to tell the other buyer a story. It was unreal. Then all the buyers (3) would gather to talk about their personal life. People were getting visibly unset because they were taking so long and so clearly had no sense of urgency or even just a regular pace. Whenever someone came up to sign in the person by the sign up iPad would tell them it's about a 30 minute wait. At this point it was more like a 2-3 hour wait. One person who was buying said she needed a second opinion since the sellers items were designer. She told the customer that the special buyer would be in and finish her bag in 6 minutes....over an hour later this poor customer was still waiting. There was no organization and the manager was not managing time, customer order and was stopping her buying process to chat with her coworkers. Such a lack of leadership and really unprofessional . As a retail worker I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and cut a LOT of slack to service workers. But this was just so blatant. If you want to sell here, plan on coming on a weekday right at open maybe? But still be prepared be to wait times underestimated, and to have the buyers not respect your time. Oofta. I wasn't going to say anything but then I read the reviews and someone had a similar experience to mine and now I feel compelled to say something as well. I went to sell some items and was 5th in line. There were 4 staff members working the selling section and I was there for over an hour without making progression in the line. While I was waiting I proceeded to watch as the staff were all looking at one person's items and making remarks like "this is cute" and "I want this" or "I would wear that" as if they were at the goodwill bins or shopping for themselves. As I sat there people after me were coming in to sell and each time a staff member would state how the line "wouldn't take too long." If only they knew the truth. Rip. Finally I asked one of the staff members to cancel my place in line and leave but not before anot we were interrupted by another staff member who just had to say she found "another really dope shirt". The staff come off very unprofessional, unorganized, and disrespectful to people's time. read more
