I am astonished at finding a tapas (small plate) restaurant in Bartlesville! The location is very accessible and parking is no issue. The restaurant is cute, you can sit at couches/chairs or tables. There are board games you can play and they have live music later in the evening. They have a fusion of different types of food Chinese, Greek, Italian, American, and almost everything in between. We got a mix of seafood, Italian, Greek, and Korean Short Ribs. All were flavorful and lovely. Service was excellent. They were a little stressed with the large parties going on in the back area (a reunion and party). A neat large drink menu. Must try! Great job.

don't come hungry, it's a good 45 to an hour wait for just the appetizer. The entertainment can be good. Live music tonight but I'm so hungry O can't really enjoy it

Recently, I discovered some culinary gems in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. After living here for 20 years, I had thought that, aside from the amazing food and delightful desserts crafted by Chef Hackler and Annie Saltsman at the Eatery, there wasn't much else to explore. However, to my surprise, I recently came across Chef Nook and Ragtag Resilience, both of which helped me redefine my culinary opinions of what Bartlesville has to offer in terms of fine food and culinary delights. When I heard that Chef Nook was moving to a restaurant called "Crossing 2nd Street," I was slightly confused. What is this Crossing 2nd Street? So, on a chilly Wednesday afternoon, I moseyed on up to the establishment, not expecting to leave with a taste of the world in my hands. Crossing 2nd has a fun feel to it. It is spacious with a cute bar and seemingly has an atmosphere that can be tailored to an event like a game night or romantic dinner. It is a very diverse atmosphere. I was greeted by Chef Nook, and I began salivating at the prospect of consuming his food. Upon looking at the menu, I was truly taken aback! I mean, "Irish Nachos," "Sticky Ribs," and "Schnitzel" - oh my! What is this menu? So, naturally, I ordered several delights and eagerly awaited with anticipation how an establishment in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, could have such a diverse menu AND pull it off. While waiting, a lovely individual named Sharon came over and spoke with me regarding the restaurant. I learned through the conversation that she is the owner, and the inspiration for the menu is based on her culinary travels. This delightful conversation was most welcome, and seeing the pride and joy radiate from her as she spoke of her inspirations and journeys was setting the stage for what is to come. The first dish that was ordered was the Souvlaki with tzatziki and pita. This dish featured pork loin that was grilled with heavy Greek flavors and a yogurt sauce. The flavor was good with a mild herbaceous profile that was tempered beautifully by the tzatziki sauce. It was a delightful little pocket of love. The second dish was the Irish Pub Nachos loaded with beer cheese. This dish took me aback as the potatoes were cooked to a beautiful crispy golden brown, and resting upon them was a wonderfully delightful cheese sauce that complemented the meaty potato oh so well. The cheese sauce had a gorgeous tang of hoppy beer at the back end. The third dish was the grilled meatloaf sandwich. These little sliders were flavorful and rich with a beefy flavor that coated your tongue. The caramelized onions and cheese complemented the meaty flavor well. The next dish was the chicken satay with dipping sauce. The grilled chicken had a delightful Asian flavor profile that was paired beautifully with each sauce. However, the peanut sauce stood out as its nutty flavor paired well with the flavor profile of the chicken. The sticky ribs were infused with an Asian 5 spice. This was a surprise; despite being sweet, they were not too sweet, and the familiar flavor profile of the anise paired beautifully with the ribs. The sweet aftertaste and anise flavor lingered on the palate after each bite. The next dish was the Reuben egg rolls. The rolls had a good crunch to them. However, the interior lacked some flavor, as it was not as in-depth or as diverse as the other dishes. This is not to say they were bad; however, they did not tantalize the flavor palette as much as the previous dishes. The final dish was the curry special. This was excellent. Beautiful chunks of tender chicken rested within a rich, unctuous, velvety, gorgeous, sensual, sexy curry broth. The flavor profile of fenugreek, curry, and cardamom was beautiful, and the heat hit the back of your throat in such an elegant way. Each sip of the broth coated the palate with the gorgeous curry sauce, and it is simply decadent. Well done. When I entered Crossing, I was not sure what to expect. I mean, an establishment that is working with Chef Nook was good enough for me to give it a go. I was certainly not expecting to leave with one of the Indian chicken curries I have had in years, let alone dishes like chicken satay, Asian 5 spice sticky ribs, or Irish nachos. I was most certainly not expecting each to be good-to-excellent dishes with a unique flavor profile and tasting experience with each. This is no mere accomplishment, as such a diverse menu would be difficult for many places to pull off anywhere. However, what Sharon has brought to Bartlesville is nothing short of astounding.

Chicken Dinner - grilled chicken thighs, mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy and mixed vegetables with a yeast roll.

The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! We ordered the chicken dinner and it was cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes and gravy was so flavorful and the mixed vegetables were unique and not the typical blend. They were seasoned wonderfully. I could eat this same meal every time! So so good!

Yummy goodness!!

Omg! This place is really cool! We got Irish Nachos (Yum), Sticky Ribs (Yum, Yum) and Gambas Pil Pil (Garlic Shrimp, Yum, Yum, Yummy). People of Bartlesville...UNITE! This really is something very special! The prices are amazing and the taste is above and beyond! I cannot believe how amazing everything was and we barely sampled the menu! Great service with a smile, great atmosphere, great drinks! Bring your whole family and load up on the tastes!

Wonderful small town bar, restaurant and gathering place. They have good cocktails and decent small tapas plates for dinner. My favorite part of this restaurant is their lunch. They do specials throughout the week. One of my favorites is their Friday Pho! They also have good stuffed sandwiches and soup.

My girls and I enjoyed the games, breakfast and coffee. Fantastic place to relax and have some coffee. Plus, they have some of the nicest employees! Wonderful atmosphere but small portions. This is the biscuits and gravy.

First of all it's loud, which makes it hard to have a conversation with your group. I got over it…read morewith a Mimosa champagne with a splash of orange juice. My brother had the breakfast burrito. His comment was " I feel like I should ask for forgiveness ". He was happy and ashamed he ate all of it in one sitting. I had the burger- it was seasoned so well and not dripping greasy. You know the burger is perfection when you don't need Ketchup or mustard. The cheese grits with two eggs were so delicious but needed a to go box . My favorite brunch dining experience hands down

I've been told that this is a Bartlesville favorite and I can see why they have that reputation…read more Went for lunch and another customer overheard that it was our first time there, she couldn't help but to interject in excitement and tell us everything that was worth getting on the menu and told us that brunch was a must at this spot. Located in the heart of downtown, this spot has a hometown feel with bikes hanging as decor. Service was nothing short of amazing and helpful, and most importantly the food was AWESOME!!! I ended up getting a chipotle aioli burger with fries. Simple dish but I can't say enough how good everything I had was. If you happen to be in Bartlesville, this is a must stop for lunch, dinner, or a weekend brunch. Almost forgot... Homemade ranch was delicious. I judge very critically in this area which will make or break a review.
