Always the best fitness place to do CrossFit. Everyone is super friendly and supportive. I feel that I get stronger after joining here. Everyday they have different Wod and none of them have been repeating. Saturday is the hero workout which is tending more intense and difficult than the other days. Moved to the area almost 3 years ago and have loved the Crossfit Towson gym ever since. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and the athletes are very encouraging. They have become my extended family by choice. I left this gym for approx 6 month on a freebie at another Crossfit gym. Amazing staff. Everyone in the gym has a "can do" attitude. Very encouraging. Workouts are intense, but they really push you to the next level. I'm not the most experienced when it comes to Crossfit, so I don't know if this type of environment is the norm. But I can say that Crossfit Towson made me feel very welcome. read more

Awesome Place to workout! The trainers are friendly and very helpful and the location is easy enough to find. You will lift more than you ever thought you could and the workouts will chanllenge every aspect of your mind, body and soul. I used a groupon and went with my sister. This place is great! I started there in March and have never felt better. I would recommend to everyone. The coaches are so helpful. I came from a sports background but have not worked out in 10 years. But now I can't imagine not working out at least 5 times per week. Come try! It's crazy but a lot of fun. read more

I have been working out at CrossFit Towson since July of 2013, and have nothing but great things to say about the Box, the coaches and the owner. When I first signed up, I was out of shape, overweight and hadn't lifted anything heavy in more than a decade, but the great coaching staff kept me motivated and safe, and the other members provided both inspiration and camaraderie. I quickly dropped over 30 lbs (then added 15 lbs of muscle back on since then). More importantly, my mental focus, toughness and resilience has increased dramatically, and I find I can apply many of the lessons learned in a challenging and varied fitness program to other areas of my life. Lastly, the great staff and other members make this Box feel like one big family. I would have loved to join this studio if only they 1. returned phone calls 2. had someone there during business hours on a Saturday to confirm our evaluation date (first Tue and Thur) or each month. The studio looked large enough (multigrage unit) and the two people we met were friendly but none of them worked there (or so they said) and coulnd't help us. read more

I started going to Crossfit gyms about 8 months ago. I travel for work and have had the opportunity to drop in at several boxes. The gym is definitely my favorite. The most important aspect of a Crossfit gym is the coaches. The coaches at this gym emphasize safety and correct form during lifts. The folks at this box have become family as well. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. Hi my name is Beni, I was a member of Towson Crossfit, I got my membership from Groupon for unlimited classes for $49.00, I started in November 2013, my coach was Justin, he is an awsome great guy. On my second month December 2013, I paid $100.00 for membership, however since I got my intro discount from Groupon this did not apply to me, I understand there are rules, but, this was not disclosed to me at anytime in the enrollment process, so I got double charged the regular membership for a total of $350.00 once on my personal checking account and once on my credit card. I figured no big deal I will call them and clear this out, I called the phone number on the website, nobody returned my call, I called several coaches, nothing, I started calling from January the 3rd 2014,and until I posted on Facebook that I was getting no where with my question Mr Paul Davis the owner called me, this was January the 24th 2014. He was upset and told me that it was wrong to have posted for help on Facebook, and as a favor to me he was only going to refund half of my money, I did not go for the month of January and I still got charged $175.00! If you ask me to recommend Crossfit Towson I would say yes, the trainers are amazing, the location is clean and state of the art, however I would say to Mr Davis to have a better system in answering the questions of your members and try not to talk down to them or be condescending and rude, we the customers are the reason for your success. read more
