4 QUARTERS FITNESS is located on the main floor of the TREO apartments on West 25th street…read more If you enjoy high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts then 4 Quarters Fitness is for you. The classes are inspired by football drills so the name of the studio, 4 Quarters, comes from the 4 Quarters during a football game. The last section of class is the 4th quarter which is normally when all the hard work is already done. Also, the name of the studio spells out the type of class that you'll take (QTRS - Quarters). Q for quickness, T for tenacity, R for resilience, and S for strength. Every workout is a full body workout but some workouts may focus on legs or arms for part of the class. This is the new fitness concept by Junker Fitness LLC. The Cleveland location of Junker Fitness will be closing by January 2025 but they will still have their Florida location. The same fitness instructors from Junker Fitness are now coaching here at 4 Quarters with one additional new instructor, Cameron. I visited 4 Quarters Fitness during their opening week on Monday, 17 June 2024 when they had their grand opening celebration. Jackson Junker, the owner, came down from Florida with his wife and kids to participate in opening week. It was a special treat to take two classes with Jackson who is a former football player. I took my first class on Tuesday, 18 June which was the first official day for classes. I was the only one in the Tuesday, 6am Quickness class with owner Jackson and his wife Stephanie so I felt special since I essentially got a personal training session. My next class was on Wednesday evening, 19 June, and there were alot more people in class. It was a strength class which wasn't as hard for me as the full-on cardio class but it was still a tough workout. Jackson Junker is a phenomenal fitness trainer and I was so lucky to be trained by him. The next class that I took that week was the resilience class with instructor Christa on Saturday, 22 June at 9am. There were even more people in class compared to Wednesday which makes it more fun. Christa is a great fitness coach who is very motivational. The next class that I took was the following week, a 6am strength class on Wednesday, 26 June with instructor Curtis. With me and another guy in class, it was a nice and small group. Curtis is another great fitness instructor who provides great examples of stretches to do if your body is feeling tight. He gave me on really good stretch to loosen up my side leg muscles or the IT band. You may also use some of the apartment gym's tools to stretch with such as their foam roller. CLASS TYPES (45 minutes per class) Q for quickness - cardio T for tenacity - mixture of cardio and strength R for resilience - mixture of cardio and strength S for strength - power (weights and body weight exercises) So far, I've attended 3/4 class types and I still need to take a tenacity class. I love the strength and resillence classes the most while cardio is fun too. I recommend 4 Quarters Fitness because you are trained by the best fitness professionals in Cleveland and will be provided support and guidance throughout class. Each class is currently $20 a class. I took advantage of their opening rate of $89/month for unlimited classes (founding member). Their regular membership rate is $149/month. I can't wait to take my next HIIT workout soon. TIP: please drink lots of water and electrolytes. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 48/150 total reviews in 2024 - 698 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 29 June 2024

I bought their 2-week class pass deal ($49) in early August 2026 which allowed me to take as many classes as I could during the 2 week period. The deal was good because one class alone is $28. Unfortunately, I was only able to take 9 classes in that 2 week period due to my schedule but also and mostly due to many classes being filled up (full). PRICING -- Definitely not cheap. -- 1 class is $28 (drop-in) -- An unlimited class package is $189 per month -- 8 class per month is $139 -- 5 classes per month is $118 (breaks down to $23 a class) -- 10 class pack is $210 per month All their classes are outstanding along with the instructors. The classes that I have taken so far are Power Sculpt, lower body (weights class), upper body (weights class), heated melt flow (a yoga class), and a mat pilates class. My favourite instructors are Gia and Laura. Miranda is also good but she actually just moved to San Diego, California. The only issue is that because Energi is very popular, the classes fill up very quickly. Class booking opens up about 1-week in advance but even then, most classes will be full with some waitlist spots open. I have been meaning to take the Burn Camp class offered on Saturdays and the Core & Stretch class offered on Sundays but I haven't been able to due partly to the classes being filled up but also because the one weekend during my 2-week trial, I was out of town. I've also been meaning to take instructor Lexy and Melanie's classes but I haven't been able to yet because classes are almost always full or the waitlist is full. Nonetheless, the classes that I've been able to attend have been fantastic. I highly recommend Energi if you are looking for a fun and effective fitness studio. I already have a YMCA membership so I mostly won't be back unless I decide to come for a one-off drop in class. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 172/250 total reviews in 2026 - 1013 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 31 August 2026

Then you come to point where motivating yourself just isn't cutting it, and that's when I signed up for a 1 week trial at Cleveland Fitness Bootcamp. Speaking with Nate, he described that they're not exactly a "bootcamp" (the ones where it makes you feel like you're trying out for football) but more of a group personal training. What I LOVE about their format is you exercise in short bursts followed by short rests and you just repeat the sets over and over, while moving to different stations and exercises. I felt I really got the most of each exercise instead of them pushing you until you pass out and can't do anymore like other bootcamps. For those of you that get BORED with working out, you've GOT TO try this out. With the music and group setting, the hour is over before you know it and you got an awesome workout. Every class is different though because different exercise moves are used. The classes use the Lagree method of fitness. 216 Lagree is the only MEGAPRO studio in Cleveland as of the date of this review. I first visited by myself for an early morning class on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 then I came with some friends on April 4th, 2026. FULL BODY MEGAPRO -- I took a Full Body MegaPro class on Saturday morning, April 4th 2026 with two friends. The class is a high-intensity but low impact workout. It involves different movements on a Megapro machine that work legs, glutes, arms, and core. The Megapro class is a full body workout. I was shaking and sweating within the first 10 mins of class. The class is slightly similar to doing Pilates on a Reformer machine. The Lagree method of fitness works to strengthen and tone muscle fibers but it does not make muscles bigger. You'll get lean and tight muscles with the more classes that you take. If you want to bulk up and get bigger muscles then take a weights class at a gym because the Megapro class won't do that for you. I remember after my first class, my body was sore and tight the next day but after stretching, I was back to normal the next day or 2 days later. I know that I was sore because I used muscles that I normally don't use when exercising so the soreness was a good thing. COST -- A hefty price. I used the 'Buy One, Get One' free class pass deal ($35 for two classes) which I liked. One class is $35 which is expensive so I most likely won't be back especially because I already used my 2 classes passes. Service was great and both instructors that I've taken (Kait K. and Ilana F.) were great. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 27/250 total reviews in 2026 - 868 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 14 April 2026

The decision to join Ctown was the best thing to happen to me in my time there. I had not done crossfit before and had been a lifelong in and out of the gym kind of guy. Never fully committing for longer than a few months at a time. From the minute I walked in and met Larry the owner, I knew my life was about to change. Ctown focuses on form first and foremost and under the leadership of head coach R.E. has built a solid reputation and family like atmosphere that was more welcoming than I could ever imagine. The group sizes varied, but even at its largest of 15 you still got individualized attention from the coaches throughout the workout. Being new, I was worried about not being able to keep up with the workouts, but scalability is also important to Ctown. The coaches offered modifications for almost every workout, still pushing you to try and complete it as prescribed. I was only there for a few months, but got into the best shape of my life and was driven by not only the coaches, but my fellow athletes. Yes, you do truly feel like an athlete, no matter how you look. There's no egos at Ctown, everyone is in it together and you build a great comradery that is driven by the caring personalities of the coaches who drive and inspire you as you go. I met lifelong friends in only a few months, got into the best shape of my life and never felt like I was part of a "cult" like atmosphere like some skeptics of crossfit would say. I owe R.E., Larry and the team at Ctown much gratitude for taking in a new kid in town and turning out a dedicated, more motivated and better individual in the end. If you are thinking of starting crossfit or looking for a new box to join, I could not recommend a better place and better people to be with. Whether downtown or in Fairview Park, Ctown is the best in Cleveland hands down.
