First of all, the gym is big, which I like because there is plenty of room and you're not on top of one another. One side is for crossfit classes and the other side is for their olympic lifters (which this gym has an impressive amount of olympic lifters). They also have a green in the back which is always a plus for a gym to have (to push prowler's down and what not). Also, there is plenty of equipment which is nice. I've been to gyms where there isn't enough equipment to go around - the equipment is also high quality! Terry (the head trainer) is awesome too! Very kind, very inviting, knows his stuff. He really promotes working on your form and focusing on your personal goals rather than racing to beat the person next to you. His programming though, is by far some of the best programming I've ever seen. I crossfit at least 5 days / week, and I've been doing it for 2 years .... both times I have left Crossfit FAST, the workouts kicked my behind (which i love as that is why I pay for this!) I initially had a 1 year membership, and during the 11th month, I contacted the owner through email telling him I wanted to cancel my membership after the 12th month had been billed. He didn't respond, so once the 12th month of my membership came up, I followed up with another email, phone call, AND text message, no answer on ANY of my attempts. The next month, I was billed AGAIN. I sent an email politely asking what had happened, but again, no reply. Thankfully, I got things squared away (without any help from the owner of the gym.) The gym itself is fine, equipment is alright, though most of the good equipment seen there is owned by someone else and locked up in storage. (When the owner marketed that it was his own equipment.) Hopefully for future members, they are treated with proper respect as a paying member of the gym. Because the gym itself isn't bad, just the owner has some very suspect business practices.

This gym is community-driven. Every coach there is insanely knowledgeable and very passionate - you can truly tell they love what they do and care about helping members surpass their goals. Even in a group class setting, they still take the time to work with each individual. No matter where you're at, everyone is supportive and encouraging. The positive energy radiates through this place unlike anything I've experienced. The programming is both fun and challenging, and there are thoughtful scaling options for every workout. So everyone can safely train while being challenged. The gym itself is exceptionally maintained which directly reflects the pride the coaches and owners take in the box. CFTO also offers 1-on-1 training tailored to what you want to work on. I have had the greatest opportunity to work with Jeremy over the past few months on Olympic lifting, and those sessions have become my favorite part of the week. His coaching style is unique, detail-oriented, and patient. I look forward to CrossFit classes every day, and am deeply grateful to train here. I would absolutely recommend CFTO to anyone!

I started going here because of a Groupon I got. I must say, I didn't know what to expect. You have to come here with an opened mind and go at your own pace when you first start. They don't baby you here, you are in it for the long haul. All the classes are an hour and there are no breaks, so break when you feel you need to. The music is upbeat and fast! They have Sculpting, Boot Camp, and some great cardio classes. I go about two days a week and can't wait to see results. After the first day I could barely walk, however I felt all my muscles on fire, great full body workout in one hour! If you are serious about losing weight, this is the place to go!

Isn't that kind of rude? The instructor is super nice. He's got some crazy energy. He's extremely fit. Very personable. I liked him a lot. The kickboxing class is similar to the 24 hour fitness TKB class with a better instructor with crazy energy, better music, and the lighting was club - like. It was kind of dark. It was hard to hear so I got kind of lost with some of the moves. He does not use a mic! Kickboxing was straight cardio. Non-stop! I got a little tired towards the end because I haven't worked out in 3 weeks due to a cold, traveling and other holiday events. Thankfully I survived. This would be a perfect class for men to meet women because there were a ton of women and 1 other male student. I think this is a good class. I can't compare this to my boxing class because it's totally different. Personally I prefer the mitts and glove work versus kicking and punching the air. I like partner work. This class is good for individuals. If I were a resident of the area, I'd definitely pick this over the 24 hour fitness or cross fit.

Prior to working out at Bulates, I did privates with an instructor who had a reformer at her house. I went religiously three times a week for years, never realizing that my positions were wrong, never really properly stretching and there wasn't the same attention to form. I still loved it and got a lot of benefit, but not like now. Not only are the instructors here extremely well trained, but they keep things interesting and new by changing it up constantly. This also encourages your body to use muscles you didn't even realize you had! There's more emphasis on your core, every single muscle group, flexibility and balance. It sounds corny, but I feel like I've really gotten to know and strengthen my body. And I used to do MMA and taekwondo, and still didn't achieve the overall strength that I have now. Finally, because I have gotten so much benefit, I got my 78 year old Dad into it. After one class he absolutely fell in love with Pilates. If you've got an old injury that you're trying to heal from, if you're currently going to physical therapy, talk to your doctor and consider adding Pilates. The instructors here will take excellent care of you and build you back up carefully and skillfully.
