Best coaches and such variety of daily fitness programs. A friendly and family like atmosphere. My experience over the past nearly 3 years has been consistently outstanding and challenging. I highly recommend this place and now with the new location and a much larger working space, CFTO is poised to do even better and greater work for all members.

Clean. Sanitized. Professional. Spacious. Convenient location near the 101. Prices so reasonable, I drive here from Malibu on weekdays. Brand new space kicks ass!

Coach Jeremy and his crew of coaches have helped me gain strength, speed and power. The experience with the community is fun and engaging. Their safety first mentality has kept me going 2-4 + times per week and I enjoy pushing myself to improve daily. Join CFTO to improve your health and performance for the sport you play or just for the fun workouts!

I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I stepped into this Crossfit gym in May of 2021, but it has been one of the best decisions of my adult life. As a father of two young boys, I was looking for routines that would help me to keep up with them and to maintain an overall healthy physique. One year later and my family and I have decided to relocate out of state to be closer to family. I was sad to say "See you soon" this afternoon, but it is my honor to write this glowing review of a masterclass facility. I truly feel blessed to have been a part of a family who cheered me on and modelled the incredible power of teamwork. The coaching staff in Jeremy, Sharr, Orlando, JP, Jimmy, Ray, and Chase are exceptional athletes and even better trainers. I always felt welcomed to show up, do some hard work, and to learn the movements alongside of my fellow athletes without judgement or fear. There is a special camaraderie here that makes you want to come back again & again even after you feel broken from a hard WOD (workout of the day). It's the people in this great gym. The available personal training sessions, massage therapy, and healthy supplements for sale are great resources, but it's the smiles & results that kept me coming back 4 to 5 times a week. The new Crossfit gym in Mason, OH will be great too, I'm sure, but Crossfit TO is irreplaceable in my mind. Congratulations on helping one more husband/father/friend to seeing the light that we call Crossfit. Thank you!

Others are hired with no experience or physical fitness education (just like the owner). Owner is neither educated in fitness, nor does she care about injuries sustained here. But I will tell you what they very clearly do care about: MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY! I was a member for several months and paid a large sum of money to join a challenge that her location had put on. (She owns three F45 locations). Little did I know that it was all a stunt to have us be Guinea pigs for an app they were trying to launch. The app, which kept recommending that I eat 100x more protein than I normally do (and which is neither healthy, nor what medically trained nutritionists recommend for my age / weight / height) was designed to build heavy bulky muscle and NOT AT ALL THE BODY OR GOALS I wanted for myself. I wanted to lose weight and return to my lithe, lean, long body -- I have no interest in looking like a stocky body builder. I was, by far, the person who lost the most weight (25 lbs) and did so by eating a sensible diet, listening to the cues of my body, and NOT overloading on protein and fat like the app kept telling me to do. But I lost the challenge because...apparently weight loss wasn't the goal; the actual goal of the challenge was for the owner to get more money but to actually have customers **voluntarily sign up and pay for the privilege of being her guinea pigs!*** It was an attempt for the app owners to see the impact of the suggesting folks heavily ramp up protein/fat consumption. The winner of the challenge wasn't someone who lost weight or even gained muscle mass. It was the idiot who stated (and clearly lied) that he actually did eat the ridiculous amount of protein the app suggested on a daily, meal by meal basis. He won without any weight loss or serious muscle development. False advertising, total waste of time, and then AFTER the winner was announced, they mentioned for THE FIRST TIME that weight loss wasn't the goal.

I began working out here again and found that the floor was consistently filthy! It clearly wasn't cleaned daily and since many of the classes you spend on the floor, I was disgusted. After a few sessions I shared my concern with one of the trainers and asked her to pass the message onto the owner. There was no response. Then wrote an email to the owner to discuss my concerns about the cleanliness of the facility. Instead of discussing it with me, I arrived at my next session only to have the trainer pull me aside to tell me that the owner had TERMINATED my membership and they kicked me out. No phone call, no discussion. I emailed her asking her to discuss this. No response, coward. Even though she refunded my money she continued to charge me the next month for $195. Don't support owners that care about you but are only after your money.

I've been doing Orangetheory on and off for about 10 years (started at the Northridge studio), and since moving out to the area I've been coming to this location more consistently the past few years -- and I genuinely can't recommend this studio enough. Every coach I've taken here has been great, but shoutout to Koda and Julia -- they're amazing. They're not the type to just stand at the mic and call out times -- they're constantly circulating on the weight floor, helping with form, giving adjustments, and making sure you're doing movements safely and effectively. I also really appreciate that if you stop for a second (we've all been there ), they'll check in and encourage you without making it uncomfortable. It feels supportive, not pushy -- and it helps you keep going. I've also dealt with a knee injury in the past, and I really appreciate how willing the coaches are to offer options and modifications. After my knee injury and surgery, I actually started on the bike and gradually worked my way back up to the treadmill once my doctor gave me the green light. I also love that they offer the elliptical as another option -- it makes the workouts feel really adaptable no matter where you're starting from. A lot of people mention the weights may not feel "heavy enough" if you're someone who wants to lift super heavy, but for me it's more than enough. The workout is so well programmed that I still feel challenged every time. The front desk staff deserves a shoutout too -- they are SO warm and welcoming, and they're flexible and lenient when life happens and you need help with anything. It's one of those studios where people actually learn your name the more you come, and you start recognizing the same faces in class -- it ends up feeling like a little community. Logistics and amenities are also a big plus: Easy parking, super clean studio, well-maintained equipment, two single-use bathrooms, two showers (huge if you're heading to work after), and two filtered water stations. Ambience is also just... chef's kiss. Working out under the orange lights at 5:15am hits different -- it's a whole vibe. Yes, Orangetheory is an investment, but for me the unlimited membership is worth it because the more consistently I go, the more I see and feel a real transformation. I'm doing the Transformation Challenge right now (and part of it is posting a Yelp review), but I'd be saying all of this regardless -- I recommend Orangetheory Westlake Village to anyone who asks what I'm doing for workouts. If you're on the fence, just try a class. It might surprise you in the best way.

This is her family business and she makes all of her members and clients feel loved like family. I recently completed a 60- day fitness challenge at Hardcore, run by Jen. I gained strength and confidence, while losing inches off my body. My favorite part of the 60 day challenge was the supportive community of other participants. People their stories, struggles, wins, tips, and support for each other both online in our group video discussions, as well as as in person at the gym. I woke up early--excited--because the night before I'd made a decision that felt meaningful: I was joining this specific gym. The doors were open. The lights were on. The front desk felt more symbolic than functional. I spent roughly two minutes wandering the entry area, scanning for help, direction, or any indication that new members were expected. Eventually, a young employee was walking towards me. We made eye contact. From about 5 yards away he spoke first. "What do you want?" Not good morning. Not how can I help you. Just that. I stood there for several seconds, unsure if I'd heard him correctly. When I asked if that was really what he said, there was no apology. Instead, he attempted a quick revision: "I meant, what do you need?" I told him I didn't need anything I was there to join ..he began backpedaling and explained that he wasn't feeling like himself due to "some medication" or something he had taken the night before--an explanation I neither requested nor gave af about. This employee, Josh, then immediately tried to shift into sales mode and motioned for me to follow him to the computer area so he could sign me up. I looked at him like he was mentally challenged but I was quickly feeling anger rising. At that point, I asked for a manager's business card. I was told there weren't any. That "it doesn't work like that." No manager. No card. No escalation path. No accountability--just a shrug and a system apparently designed to exist without oversight before sunrise. So I did the only reasonable thing left. I turned my back, walked out, and said, "I'll figure it out." What should have been the start of a positive lifestyle change turned into a lesson in how quickly motivation can be shut down by dismissiveness, deflection, and a complete absence of basic customer service. Two stars. One for being open at 5:45 a.m. One for reminding me that professionalism, like management, is apparently unavailable during early hours. If this is the experience for someone eager to join, I can't imagine what happens when someone needs help--or tries to leave.
