Who doesn't see a million posts from your CrossFitting friends talking about Fran, Isabelle, and…read moreDiane - and posting pictures of ripped open hands and busted up shins... - you probably roll your eyes and hide them after a few months... We've all been there - but just wait until you are the one that is hooked and can't wait to post your WOD results and share with all your Facebook friends around the World.... That's what happened to me. After researching CrossFit gyms for about a year I decided to go check Revamped out after seeing a post on Facebook. The other gyms in the area did not give me a good vibe when I called or emailed wanting some basic information. Everything was very straight forward and upfront, I emailed back and forth with Gary for a few days asking questions and getting information. Once I went, I was hooked! -and then I got my husband hooked! My son is even hooked, he started the Young Warriors program a few weeks ago. They have hours and memberships to fit everyone's needs. Gary is very knowledgeable and works with clients to scale workouts to accommodate for injuries (I've been nursing a lower back strain for about 3 weeks). If you are considering trying CrossFit, try Revamped. ***UPDATE*** It's been almost 5 months since I started at ReVamped, it has been amazing to see the gym grow and get 2 more coaches. Things did get a little crazy from a Living Social deal, but hey, it brings in new business, right :) Seeing a small business succeed in today's economy is rare, and ReVamped is succeeding and will be around for many years to come!! It is also nice to see coaches that practice what they preach, Gary recently won the Winter Warmer competition in Philadelphia, and Alea won the Crofton SuperFit in the Fall.

I went to the gym to inquire about their training (personal) and everything seemed okay. I asked about pricing and exceptions The man in the front explained everything however what was not posted or even stated was their agreement rules. I was told that upon signing up I would receive a call to set up a day and time with the trainer; 299 for 4 weeks one day a week. When I signed up it was the beginning of the month ( February 2nd) strike 1 did not receive a call to schedule until a week later, strike two could not match schedules so I asked them to cancel my membership and because we could not find something that matches our schedules and I never was given services to refund me. They said in their agreement that they do not do refunds. Where is the agreement posted in their gym, and it was never sent to me. I literally had to search their website to find information. I disputed the transaction within my bank and lost...ok fine but now they say I owe 65 after multiple emails telling them I want nothing to do with company is crazy. This company is not honest, not transparent, and my experience has been the worst!

I had never heard of this franchise until recently, so after researching the brand further, I…read morescheduled and completed a free class. Although the facility appears much larger in the website photos and videos, it was smaller than expected. However, I was really excited about the experience. Prior to the free class, the staff member provided a comprehensive tour of the facility that included information about the benefits of infrared technology and fitness. The keyless entry location features 24/7 accessibility. As for the workouts, each workout station includes virtual instruction. My favorite was the cycling station. The rooms are compact and blazingly hot, but heat-adjustable. For this reason, I could not imagine being in the enclosed compartments with two other people. The facility not only features the HIIT workouts, hot-cycle, hot-thunder, and hot-blast, but also Isometric workouts such as hot-iso, hot-pilates, and hot-yoga. There is also a small workout area in the back featuring free weights. Smith machine and TRX bands. There are two bathrooms featuring glass showers. They also feature brand merchandise at the front. Overall, the location was clean. The workout rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. Again, I think it is an interesting concept with some amazing results and benefit claims.

They offer 24/7 access which is also great. Maury took care of me for my complimentary class. I took the Hot Barre None. It was a good 30 min session. It's nice and clean in there as well which is what I love the most since Saunas are involved. It doesn't smell sweaty or anything. I love that they also have a weight area if you want to do some strength training. The membership price $59 is a steal for unlimited classes. I can't wait to return and try more classes. It's so many to choose from since there are 6 rooms; some have workout machines. The instructors are virtual on the screen. I highly recommend everyone try it out. It is low impact and totally worth it.

Top Tier easily accommodates a class of 20 athletes, all properly distanced six feet apart, with plenty of equipment for everyone. The Coach leads Athletes through a targeted warm up (specific to the goals of training that day), strength workout (e.g. deadlift/squat/clean/snatch/etc.), and then an intense CrossFit style workout of the day. After all Athletes finish, the Coach leads them in cleaning/sanitizing all equipment and putting it away, followed by a targeted cool down. Since COVID-19 hit, many of my friends, colleagues, and peers were worried about reentering a gym for fear of catching the virus or lack of cleanliness, but the Top Tier staff is working hard to ensure the safety of all Athletes who want to improve themselves.
