I recently completed a Groupon trial of one month of unlimited classes at Elite Bodies. I must preface my review by saying that I understand that every fitness program is unique and thus I approach every new situation with an open mind and a positive attitude. Pros ~ Fitness app that allows you to register for class and make payments - innovative and convenient intimate setting variety of exercises to work and challenge all areas of the body convenient location and class times great for those who don't care for the typical gym setup one on one attention (blessing and curse, elaborate later) Jairo, Tues & Thurs a.m. instructor was far more personable, accommodating and respectful Cons ~ There were two incidents that stuck out to me. One, on an unseasonably warm day during my trial period, we took a fun run. It was dark, we ran down a heavily trafficked sidewalk, and the class contained mostly women. I was a bit disturbed at the fact that Jeff left a number of the women behind and hustled back to the gym location as opposed to making sure that everyone got back safely before proceeding upstairs to complete the HIIT portion of our workout. To me that was a liability waiting to happen as it took a number of the women some time to get back. Jeff didn't check on any of the women, to make sure that everyone was ok. Instead he stood in the doorway telling the stragglers to hustle up. (and no I wasn't a straggler) What if someone tripped and fell or God forbid got hit by a car. The instructor is back at the facility while his students are injured. NOPE, not a good look. The second incident was during a session, after Jeff demonstrated the exercises he then instructed the participants to "partner with someone you like." Now as an Early Childhood Educator and someone who has also instructed adults, telling a group of people who have not been introduced to one another to "partner with someone you like," is not only juvenile but insinuates that there may be individuals within the class that no one wants to work with. It was a disturbing statement to me because he didn't say it once, nor twice but three times. Not sure what was the purpose of repeating it, but it just didn't sit well with me. Perhaps instructing the class to simply "partner up," would have been more appropriate. With regards to the ONE on ONE coaching, I say it was a blessing and a curse because during my time there, Jeff took it upon himself to use this time to also inform me when I didn't do something correctly whether it was an exercise or something administratively. For example, I signed up for the class incorrectly via the app. Jeff decided that he would question me during the minute and 30 seconds I had to do my exercise as to whether or not I had signed up for that particular session. I was bothered by this simply because two weeks prior to signing up for the class I contacted Jeff via email inquiring as to whether I should come early for an orientation to his program and was told no. Well, had said orientation been done, I might have used the app and participated in the program the way Jeff would see it. I have to admit that this not only made me UNCOMFORTABLE but I began to develop a bit of ANXIETY because I just never knew what to expect from Jeff. Funny I didn't seem to have any problems when Jairo was the instructor. hmmm Even though I currently have a gym membership I was really looking forward to continuing with the sessions, due to the fact that the location is so convenient and I actually enjoyed the group classes. However, there were moments when I felt singled out and it appeared as if I just...couldn't...get...it...right, according to Jeff of course. I must also add that I have a bad knee that will flair up from time to time if I do too many strenuous exercises. If I happened to make an adjustment to reduce the pain Jeff sometimes didn't take too kindly to my adjustment. However, whenever Jairo would demonstrate the exercises he kept that in mind and would show an alternate prior to us getting started. All in all my purpose of jump starting my fitness regimen after being down for 8 months was accomplished. I gained some great exercises to add to my list and my body has kicked into full workout mode. I'd say that it is a good program for anyone whose intimidated by bigger gyms and still wants to workout. I wouldn't deter anyone from giving it a try, but I just know based on how I was treated it's not for me.

Since no one ever called me back after I requested an initial consultation, I can't say whether this place is any good or not.

If I could give a 0/10 I would. Unfortunately my exit from this company was very traumatizing. I…read morewill say the coaches and (some) of the front desk people were cool, but the management team is a complete nightmare. I initally cancled my membership back in march due to a sentive vulnerable medical reason which i explained to the staff. The staff somehow cohersed me into freezing my membership rather than canceling it. When they gave me this option, I was very hesitant because I just didn't know if freezing would make the most sense being that I don't know what the future of my health would be, but they convinced me to freeze my account, leaving out the fact that that means I would be committing to a new month once I came back and finished the month that I had frozen. I will admit that I did not fully understand the freeze process and I missed a lot of information regarding so, there was a lot of miscommunication on both parts and when I tried to get it resolved with the management team it was a horrible conversation. As soon as I got on the phone, the "manager" had a very condescending tone and when I tried to explain why I was upset and confused she kept cutting me off and talking over me. And when I met her with the same energy, she tried to spin it like I was the problematic one. she was not listening to understand, but rather continued on with the conversation to state "facts" and read from her false notes. She gaslighted me the entire time, kept saying "you keep talking over me" as if she wasn't doing the same exact thing, invalidated my experience and feelings just to prove a "point" Breanna or Brenna whatever your name is, if you are reading this, I want you to know that you lack conflict resolution skills, you lie a lot and manipulate your words to prove your point, which tells me that you lack integrity and communication skills. I left the conversation in tears, and later had a horrible panic attack because of how traumatizing that conversation was. She almost even conned me into keeping my membership with them and "waving the fee" something that was never offered to me before . I almost fell for it, but after my panic attack, I reflected on the conversation and realized that I do not want to patronize a business that has that type of management team. It lets me know that if there is an issue, it will be poorly handled because of the type of person the manager is. if you have any sort of auto immune disease that is induced by stress like myself, then I definitely do not recommend this studio because they will send you straight into a flare just like they did with me. I lost out on $200 but I would rather let that money go to waste than to be affiliated with a management team that treats and talk to their members like trash. The management team is more concerned with making their quota than actually doing what's best for their members.

I signed up for the one week trial and had a great time! I was only able to attend four classes,…read morebut enjoyed each one. The instructors were really helpful and gave me some modification options. It would probably help to have some background knowledge of common lifts, but the instructors show the movements and they play on video screens if you need it. Everyone attending was generally in their own zone, so there isn't a lot of chatting because you really focus on getting the exercises done in the set times. I will say that the classes go by super quickly because you're always moving. Cons: The programming is set for the whole month. So each day of the week has its set program and you do that each week for the whole month. For me, this would get old (I really need variety). On the plus side, it does mean you get to see active gains throughout the month. The membership plan is a little pricey. I get why it costs so much, since they do have to cover rent and you only really attend during the class sessions. It isn't a type of gym where you just drop in when you want to use certain equipment. The unlimited monthly membership is $299, but in reality you are getting 30 or 31 classes depending on the month. Since the classes are the same all day, it is unlikely you would do two classes in a day, right? So the pricing is about $10/class if you do the unlimited monthly pass and you go every day. Some of the equipment was pretty smelly. I was at one station that honestly made me gag a little... I think the bench or maybe the dumbells had never been thoroughly cleaned with a bleach solution.

Always a great workout, well maintained facilities and the community is great. Highly recommend.read more

I started at F45 on a trial to make sure it was the right fit and within a week I knew it was the place for me. Not only is the entire staff fully dedicated to making sure the experience is incredible, all of the equipment is new and well maintained. There hasn't been a workout I regret going to. And the people who go there are all really nice. It's where I got referrals for a salon, restaurants, etc. I'm so glad I found them and on top of all that, I can see my results! My body has definitely changed since being committed to F45. I worked out before moving here it was more of a smaller chain gym and although it felt good to be active there's levels to this! And I know F45 is what's gotten me to this next level in fitness journey.
