I joined in mid February and have had overwhelmingly positive interactions with the coaches & members every single day since. Having moved here March 2020 and continuing to work from home the last two years, joining this community has been a blessing in ways I hadn't even expected but truly appreciate. One of the owners, Christine, was kind and welcoming from the first email interaction through when I actually stepped foot in the gym. She continues to be a supportive coach who meets me where I'm at and challenges me to keep progressing. Jamie is the other owner who is always willing to give me feedback on form and assist me while I become more confident in the various lifts - which is so helpful! Kelsey is the coach who trained me 1:1 in the very beginning (which was beneficial beyond measure!) and continues to provide encouragement and inspiration. The other coaches I've had the chance to interact with periodically are equally as lovely - the culture here simply cannot be beat. If you've ever considered Cross Fit but were intimidated or heard mixed messages - I invite you to join this gym for a class to see what it's all about. And while this isn't the closest location to me, I'm so glad I followed the hunch & made this gym my own. I look forward to showing up each class, knowing I'll be challenged through an intentionally programmed workout surrounded by people of all fitness levels. While I expected a good workout, I did not expect the amount attention I received from the coaching staff. Even though I was only there for one day, I was treated as an equal. Was extremely, positively surprised at the variety of equipment; even includes top of the line rowing machines. My personal workout has been developed and tweaked for years. As a result it is extremely particular. Axis had everything required for my workout, which is extremely rare, to include the pull-up assist machine (often only found in large Chains and rehab facilities) and 2.5 pound interval dumb bells! Another surprise us how all existing clients are extremely fit. DID NOT SEE ONE out of shape client (except yours truly; of course!) Obviously a testimony to the Axis skill sets which include ingrained positive habit patterns, advanced trainer experience levels, and results oriented training plans. Admittedly the existing high fitness levels of all clientele can sometimes intimidate prospective new clients, but all staff employ the traditional warm southern charm and demeanor one expects only from a family exclusive to the South. Sam, Isiah and Alexis have developed a healthy fitness experience rivaled by every other fitness alternative on the market today. Gyms of this quality are normally only found in larger venues.

I re-injured my bad knee when no alternative exercises were prescribed for repeated sled pushes. The coach knew about the state of my knee; he had the same injury and surgery. I alerted the coach and front desk staff of the incident. An incident report was not written and I received no follow up regarding my wellbeing afterward. Subsequently, I put my membership on hold and eventually quit. Same thing happened to a friend of mine who also worked out there. As a former gym owner, I find this unacceptable. **All gyms owe its athletes a duty of care when on their property. Love the gym, but don't feel inclined to go back.

Steve has been my trainer for 5 months now and he's amazing!! When we first started my knees hurt with a lot of the exercises and he customized them so I could do them without knee pain. He's great at his job and makes strength training fun (I normally hate strength training). Since I'm there a lot I'm familiar with the other trainers (Becca- the owner and Hudson) and they're all great!! I will keep going here indefinitely and would highly recommend this place.
