Recently went to Arizona to visit my family for the holidays and was in need of a box. My friend that lives in the area recommended CrossFit Incite. I was glad she did as this place feels welcoming and provides great coaching and support. I really like the fact that they have a variety of classes throughout the day and the fact that they have two different programs "Sweat" or the traditional "WOD" that you can select and they will take the time to go through each so that you are better prepared for the workout that day. My wife and I have been members now for a little over nine months; we absolutely love it. The fitness program choices offered are so much more than a typical Cross Fit gym. Incite not only offers CrossFit classes, they also offer "Sweat" classes in which the focus is more cardio and body weight type movements. I personally like to mix it up and utilize both. On top of that they also offer Olympic Lift classes to help those like myself (new to CrossFit) work on movements like Snatch and Clean Jerks. The coaches are great; friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to listen. I can't say enough good things about CrossFit Incite. For those sitting there reading this and worried about their ability to do CrossFit, I would say absolutely 100% without a doubt anyone can do CrossFit. I can not say how much this place has changed my life. My wife started going here about three years ago and the transformation I saw was nothing short of miraculous. Not only was she losing weight, but she was gaining confidence and getting strong (physically and mentally). I had to try it out for myself. So January of 2013 I started going. I'm not an athlete, I sit at a desk all day for work. I was nervous about CrossFit because, I watched the videos; you know of people doing handstand push-ups while I wasn't sure if I could crank out a push-up. The coaches are great, I feel that each one of them cares about my development. They scaled workouts to my level but encouraged me to push myself. They didn't make me feel bad about where I was and taught me proper techniques. I'm at 2 months of continuous training and I've come a very long way. I'm thankful for my Incite team. read more

As a beginning CrossFitter, I looked at a few CrossFit locations and ended up joining CrossFit Incite. I was a bit intimidated at before the first time going because it had been a few years since I had continually lifted and had only really been running on a semi-consistent basis. However, I knew I wanted something that would kick my ass, get me strong and keep me motivated. I have all that with CrossFit Incite. The workouts are varied each day (as they are in any CrossFit box/gym). I don't have to think about what I am going to do each day, I just have to show up. The workouts are tough, too - usually quick compared to what most people spend at a traditional gym, but ass kicking hard. Better yet, as you get stronger and build endurance, they continue to get harder. The great thing about CrossFit is you're really working against yourself - continually getting stronger, faster, better. This was my first experience in the cross fit world and couldn't have been more grateful I chose Crossfit Incite for my start. As a beginner, each coach took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the workouts and I never felt bad asking them questions. They are very knowledgable and helpful. My favorite classes were the Olympic Lifting Class with Tyler. Even though I never had any weightlifting experience in the past, I was able to learn good techniques and became comfortable and motivated to see what I was capable of. This place is really amazing. Its clean and very well maintained. They have knowledgeable coaches and Its full of friendly, welcoming people who are so excited you are there working out with them. I feel motivated and accountable. On days when I want to put in half effort, I'm pushed to do better, but never feel judged. I am made to feel missed when I don't show up, but not looked down upon when I need a short break. It was really what I needed to get in shape and love working out again. I went to this gym for a few months when it first opened. The owner is really nice, you can tell he is dedicated in helping each person that visits his gym. Crossfit is definitely not a slacker gym, so if you are really looking to better yourself health and body wise this gym is one of the best to go to. Every Crossfit gym is different, for I have been to a few and by far this one was my favorite because of the coaches. The coaches make the difference when it comes to Crossfit, because you need to be pushed to your specific max and if you have coaches that don't pay attention and really don't care you can hurt yourself or not work yourself out hard enough. I have left this gym throwing up (in a good way) the best part was, I had more energy, I had toned every inch of my body and I added muscle. I felt like I had my dancer body I use to have back in high school and this was after I had my son! This gyms motto for the ladies is "If you still look cute after your workout, you didn't go hard enough!" Great motivation for the ladies out there. Filthy box with an unwelcoming owner- Not Recommended! I dropped in and the members were very nice. I met the owner and OMG! He was unwelcoming, not friendly, and certainly didn't care that I was there. I sure hope he's not a coach! The box was the dirties box I've ever been too! It was disgusting! Limited equipment from what i could tell too. The members were very nice and i had a great workout. I'm giving this box 1 star only because of the members and the workout. Otherwise, I'd give a negative star if that were an option. read more
