I was nervous as I am always about a new gym, especially them knowing that I am only dropping in. That didn't stop me from making pals at this place. The 5 am crew are tight and friendly. The first time that I entered this gym I was approached by who I thought was a member saying " hello new person" this was Joey who I think is one of the head coaches, I think. It didn't take long for him to learn my name. I was also able to me Greta, she is the normal 5 am Coach. Greta, seriously changed my life when she told me to think like a scarecrow when doing a snatch if you are a crossfiter you know that it only takes one person to tell you how to do a movement that can change the way you have been doing everything, and she did! We selected this day for my first time (read: I am super out-of-shape, do not go to the gym, etc.) because it was low on cardio, focused on different stations of strength-based work, and easy to be modified. For example, if you move to a station where you are to lift weights, you could select 10 pound weights or 30 (or whatever) that is best suited for your needs. I wasn't nervous about coming because I've been to gyms of similar formats before. I was weary of embarrassing my friend in front of her other friends and coaches due to my lack of physical ability, but she assured me that no one would be judgmental and everyone would be encouraging. She was exactly right. Even better, no one seemed to give a rat's ass about what I was doing. And I mean that in a positive way. How nice to be able to work out and not feel like anyone is looking at you. That said, the coaches did keep an eye on me, to make sure I was doing the correct format or to offer me tips and modifications when it was obvious I needed it. I really enjoyed training at F45 this week, and I wish I lived in town so I could go back more often. I might want to check with the facility to see if they offer packages where you can purchase like a 10-class pass or something, because then I could join my friend when I visit from out of town or am home for holidays. I highly encourage anyone in Mount Pleasant or who lives in the area of an F45 to try out a class. You will not regret it!

Then they could start hiring adults instead of children who they do not bother to train. They enforce nothing and clean nothing. An additional problem is that there is no corporate office. These are franchise owned dumps who no one cares about and make sure they don't leave a trace so no one can find them to complain. If you call corporate like I did, you get a 40 minute two hour three day or however, long you decide to stay on the phone... message telling you that all of their operators are busy. In other words, we don't want to talk to you and we won't. They refer you to frequently ask questions and back to your current location. So if you are complaining about the jerks that run planet fitness at your location you need to give them the report About them. This gym is part of my healthcare plan so it's free for me. When I did the changeover from private pay to healthcare plan, they owed me $10. They cannot get out of their own way for over five years to pay me that $10 back. Their financials are done by ABC financial, which is the worst one on the planet And again no way to contact them either. We need to put these businesses out of business that are owned by venture capitalist who don't care about the customer. The one in Summerville has a particularly nasty couple of staff members. Nothing you can do about it though but wait a month and they'll be gone and they'll be some new untrained humans in their spot. Worst gym in Charleston.
