Very clean, very well organized, all the equipment is high quality. When somethings broke, he fixes it. When things are getting worn out he replaces it. The people there are all really nice and there's a genuine community feeling whether you're 75 and staying active or 25 and working on major lifting goals. Go to another gym in Durango and you'll see the opposite. I genuinely cannot say enough good about Don and the gym he runs.

There are rules and reasons for everything if you are a gym Rat you understand discipline and consequences. Don was very understanding and respectful even tho I broke a rule but not heartless just responsible I was able to do my day pass but my associate couldn't get service in the area so I let him in and figured we'll take care of it when Don comes, Don was respectful and understanding and gave us a talk about how his gym is ran and I feel bad for what i did with out reading the rules. But I highly recommend common scene and respect Don Gym because it takes a lot of stress and power to run your own business Anyways if your in from out of town the prices are great and the gym is awesome you got everything you need and more. Even the people in the gym are awesome and helpful. Love this town.

We brought our own towels because it's a $1 rental and we had some in our car (a summer staple!). Best part was no sunscreen! Coming from Arizona and staying at Purgatory for the week to enjoy cooler weather, the no sunscreen part is pretty exciting. My kids rave about this place (now 11 and 13 years old). The rock wall is no joke, either! Unlimited access during open hours (special hours for rock wall, but generally closed after 4pm). Kayaks in the pool at 6pm on Wednesdays for a $5 rental? What is the Colorado? Super cool way to learn!

So, no really big deal I spent $178 on my membership but simply wanted my $50 key fob deposit back. I mailed it from Arizona, called them a couple of weeks later and they said they never received the Fob and refused to refund my deposit. Oh well, it's only $50 but what a poor experience dealing with the owner of this location. I didn't push him on it as they easily could have lost it or maybe they didn't receive it but what a disappointment based on not being able to even use the club in the first place. There are many better options available than Anytime Fitness! My bad!

Instruction was solid and in the familiar 26 +2. Room was warm enough and close to about 75 minutes through, you really want to just crawl out the room. And that's how it should be. Push yourself just for 15 minutes more. What you learn on the mat can help you when you're off the mat. Great space to practice. When I'm in Durango, I'll definitely be back!
