Instruction was solid and in the familiar 26 +2. Room was warm enough and close to about 75 minutes through, you really want to just crawl out the room. And that's how it should be. Push yourself just for 15 minutes more. What you learn on the mat can help you when you're off the mat. Great space to practice. When I'm in Durango, I'll definitely be back!

This was no exception. Dawn has an innate ability to find problematic muscle(s) and melt them away. Dawn spent one hour on my traps and upper back with the majority of the focus being on the problematic left trapezius area. She wasted no time, everything she did had purpose, and I walked out of there with significantly less pain and much more range of motion than when I walked in. Dawn has an authentic, warm, and positive energy to her and is a great conversationalist (which is much needed when you have lots of trouble areas that need work). She knows how to moderate the amount of force she is using and is very in tune with how you are responding to the massage. Flowersong is open on weekends (which seems to be sort of rare for places like this in Durango) and Dawn was quick to respond to the text messages we exchanged with her when figuring out the logistics of where her office was located. However, they kept the gym warm at the right temperature and I survived! I dropped in with 3 other friends to do our Open WOD. The place wasn't over crowded and everyone around us were very friendly with "open" arms #crossfitcommunity. Moreover, we started on time and finished on time. The gym was clean and roomy with a lot of space. The equipment was well organized and what you expect from a CF gym. Needless to say, if I'm in Durango again I'll know I'll have a gym I can attend! - Enjoy!

It's always tough on my (addicted) crossfit routine when I travel, but not when I visit Durango! First, the gym is attractive, with a large garage door that opens on a nice day to allow a fully unobstructed view of the mountains. They also have a beautiful, energetic, colorful mural across the wall. Most important, their trainers are awesome - very welcoming to drop ins and gave great coaching points. Even though I've been doing CrossFit several years, it is great to get the input to keep improving form. The locals are also super friendly and gave many suggestions for activities around this terrific area. I look forward to my next visit to Durango and Crossfit Durango.
