There's plenty of equipment to go around, and even during peak hours you rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes to use a machine, bench, or squat rack. The gym is also exceptionally clean; it's clear the owners take pride in the space, because you'll barely find a speck of dirt or even a smudge on the mirrors. The owners, Norm and Joanna, are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They're also very knowledgeable trainers who offer personalized training sessions tailored to your individual goals. What Titan Gym may lack in size, it more than makes up for with its sense of community. The members are incredibly welcoming and diverse--ranging from college students and young professionals to parents and older adults staying active in their later years. It's a place that supports both casual gym-goers and serious lifters alike (including a member who recently placed first in a state powerlifting competition). You also won't find the stereotypical "gym bro" atmosphere here--people are respectful of each other's space, time, and noise levels. The people here also organize activities outside the gym as well, ranging from Spartan races and marathons to casual hikes, beer festivals, concerts, and even weekend gaming. At the time of writing this review, Titan Gym is located in Alamo Ranch, though they plan to move to a much larger facility later this year (close to the Santikos Theatre). That will be a great step forward, as the current space can feel a little cramped in certain areas. Still, even in its current form, Titan Gym manages to create an environment that feels welcoming, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. I'm personally a Texas transplant, and finding this gym went a long way to making this place a new home.

I have a learning disability so 12 months ago I walked in store to purchase a month by month plan…read morebecause I knew I'd be moving to the other side of town soon and I wanted to be helped by a worker to make sure I was getting the correct plan. Their system was down at the time so they told me I had to do it on my phone. I asked the gentleman at the desk for help and he guided me to the 12 month contract Instead of the month by month. so I've been stuck paying for crunch for the last 12 months and more then once ive Called for help and the front desk workers have been less them help and borderline rude each time I've called EXCEPT the last time where a young lady picked up and was very helpful in making sure my plan could NIT BE RENEWED. But now I've been charged 20$ for canceling???? at the end of my 12 month plan I'm so sick of this company so many hidden fees. I will never recommend crunch to anyone I know.

I love the different rooms/sections, it feels super easy to navigate. However, the parking situation is pretty bad. If the Crunch-o-meter says "moderate", you'll have to circle the lot a couple times to find a place to park. There have been multiple occasions in which I've had to give up on going to the gym for a few hours/the day because there was nowhere to park. They also play the music insanely loud for some reason. I'll have my headphones (which are pretty good quality and can drown out people speaking before getting to "damaging to hearing" levels) on full blast, and I'll still be able to clearly hear the radio over my own music.

The reason that it is packed is because it's the best gym in the area. The most I've ever had to wait for a machine is maybe 10 minutes. I will pay those 10 minutes to be able to go to this facility. The front desk personnel are fantastic. When they welcome you in, it isn't like some gyms where the comment is an afterthought, they really hope you have a good workout. Even though it is a new gym, they do a good job of keeping everything in good shape. The trainers are the best! They have a good variety of personalities so you should be able to find someone who can help you reach your goals. I've worked out with three and seen other trainers working with clients. I haven't taken any classes yet, but friends have said that the classes are really enjoyable. I have done a HIIT workout challenge, which was really needed to help me get out of a rut. Highly recommend!

It's well laid out, spacious, with the newer purple floor CrossFit area. I'm nursing a knee injurt right now so I'm not able to do legs. So I'm like most gym bros now and no leg day. *sad grunting noises* Overall I enjoyed the gym, was in a good location for where I was needing to be. When I'm back on this side of town, I'll definitely come back. Hopefully without any restrictions next time.
