The gym has a nice swimming pool, two basketball courts (the one in the front was recently redone, 2021), a gaggle of racquetball courts, two gyms (one crossfit-esque), ping pong tables, and a martial arts room. There is also an upstairs indoor track, the full track and football/soccer field across the street, and another outdoor crossfit area. WIthout writing a 3 page review, there is no way to completely describe the amenities, but if you have access to the base, this is one of two very nice gyms available to you. Business: Max Fitness…read more I was a member in good standing at Max Fitness for over five years without incident. Approximately two months ago, two individuals presented as independent trainers offered weekly personal training and daily meal preparation services. I was never informed that enrolling in or canceling these services could affect my existing gym membership. The promised services were not fulfilled. After an initial assessment, my trainer stopped providing training and follow-up by the third week. I canceled the training agreement during the fourth week due to nonperformance. Shortly afterward, Max Fitness notified me that my longstanding gym membership was also being canceled. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter with the owner and corporate management, they refused to offer a reasonable resolution or address my concerns regarding misleading sales practices and undelivered services. I have since become aware of similar complaints from other members, raising concerns about potentially recurring business practices. Desired Resolution: I request reinstatement of my original gym membership without penalties, a formal review of the circumstances surrounding its cancellation, and an investigation into Max Fitness's sales practices, third-party training agreements, and treatment of members who dispute unfulfilled services.
