As my husband is in the military and we relocate a lot, we've been members of over a dozen gyms. We've NEVER seen a gym that cares so little about its members. Even the smallest mom-and-pop gyms repair their equipment in a timely manner. The leg press and cable station pictured have been out of order for three months now. Since then, three other cable stations have gone out of order. WTF, Crunch? I guess you just don't give a flying fornication about your members. The only reason we still go to this gym is that it's convenient. BTW, EVERYONE complains about the busted equipment and the deplorable condition of the restrooms.

Thanks to the facility to setting a time that works for parents to be able to do an activity like this and to not feel judged. I can't wait to take the intermediate adults class. I love that the pools are indoor to make year round practicing an option. Lifeguards are always present when you're in the pool. Everyone is super helpful! They offer classes for all levels and ages. Aerobics too. The only con I can say is it's hard to reach anyone by phone - no matter what prompt I try. Facebook and email is somewhat hard to get a response from too but better than by phone. They do post regularly on Facebook. There's a screen inside with the most updated information and closings too.

Classes are great, the instructors really make the difference. I pay extra for the Boot Camp classes in Edge's "Zone" and those workouts are AWESOME. Go to a few of those a week and feel the inches peel off. The membership is a little pricey, especially when you have competition like Planet Fitness with much more affordable prices, but I think it's worth it. If you're military and have orders, bring them in so you won't get a penalty on breaking your contract early.

I'm so glad I signed my girls up for swimming lessons with this company. They have several…read morelocations to choose from and times of day. Locations in Byron, Kathleen, Perry, Fort Valley and Bonaire. My girls did level 1 with Ms. Jenna and even with the classes being 30 mins long (which initially I thought wasn't long enough) it's just the right amount of time and the progress they make is amazing. Description of the classes is on the website. Classes are Monday thru Thursday and Friday is used as a make up day in case of bad weather and cancelation. Ms. Jenna and the instructors were amazing. So patient with the kids and super encouraging. They knew the kids by name. My girls were skipped to level 3. They were too excited and would be so proud of the progress they made each day. We took level 3 with Alyssa and her team were the same as Ms. Jenna's. The instructors keep the kids safe. There was like 4 instructors and one sits up top to monitor the kids. I never feared for my kids safety because they maintained structure throughout the lessons. At the end of each class the kids would do fun activities. For level 1 they would dive for rings. In level 3 they would do crazy jumps into the pool. I would highly recommend this for kids. If they ever create an adult only class I'd sign up. My kids are bummed that they have to wait until next summer for level 4 - they're looking forward to learning strokes. The classes are held in the pool of individual's homes. You get the address right before classes will begin. So seating may vary. I would recommend taking a lawn chair just in case. For swimwear - no goggles or nose plugs. My girls just wore their swimsuit and swim cap to help keep their hair dry.

No idea how old she is cuz they're mixed in with the older kids) . She said no. But the culprit came up behind her and put her in a choke hold. And continued to assault her. 4) Keep in mind" the teacher wasn't anywhere to be seen (and was fired shortly after) 5) No one addressed the victim til minutessss after the fact 6) an incident report was written, but no one called the mom of EITHER student. Especially the one who was harmed! 7) The owner of the facility refused to show security tapes of the incident to the parent whose child was injured. Then: when my 8 year olds dad picked her up at 5pm, the workers, teacher/coaches were sitting on their phones, all the students were sitting silently at the tables while an 11 year old boy yelled and bossed them around. Dad confronted the owner about mass punishment (but got a vague Response). All in all, were able to get a refund for the remainder of the summer. My daughter really enjoyed the activity and karate but if something like a kid getting choke can go unseen...what else can be over looked! Beware Positive note: she had no other complains other than is and the hours are convenient. We didn't use the much but when we did.... place going be bigger! That's for sure.

I will be honest, I was a bit shocked. At 8, he had no problem embracing the discipline. I'm proud of how he's setting goals and vigorously pursuing them. Not only is he learning physical techniques, but he's understanding the self-control and the leadership associated with the art. The youthful energetic staff of martial artist, under the leadership of 6th Degree Black Belt (Master) Rankin, are definitely forging positive change in the lives of the young and not so young ;-) members of the our community.

The staff is just…read moreannoying enough to keep order and make sure that the patrons behave and take care of the gym, but other than that they are all very nice, laid back and courteous. The gym has a nice swimming pool, two basketball courts (the one in the front was recently redone, 2021), a gaggle of racquetball courts, two gyms (one crossfit-esque), ping pong tables, and a martial arts room. Not to mention the various other rooms where group classes are held. There is also an upstairs indoor track, the full track and football/soccer field across the street, and another outdoor crossfit area. WIthout writing a 3 page review, there is no way to completely describe the amenities, but if you have access to the base, this is one of two very nice gyms available to you. Half the numbers posted on the web are old and misleading, providing wrong information about the hours and days of operation, including what time military vs civilian access. Things should be so much better, seems fitness is a low priority at Robins AFB. Base commander should get her act together.
