The workouts are great with a great balance of resistance training and interval training. The trainers are awesome and Alyssa, which I usually see is such a fun and energetic coach who makes the classes very fun. This gym has the right equipment and very well put together and organized. The studio has an identity/personality which I feel like a lot of studios lack. After about four sessions, I got a membership with them and happy with my decision. I highly recommend WORK Training Studios to whomever enjoys HITT workouts.

Edit* automatic grounds for termination? maybe it is maybe it's not, in reality you have a choice how to respond to someone who significantly supported your business for a long time. I personally don't think she overstepped her bounds and clients may or may not migrate. Clients will make that choice for themselves with or without cutting her short. IMO it would have been a better long term business decision to let bygones be bygones. However you're free to operate how you will, and I'm free to give my opinion to others.

The place is spacious compared to other workout studios I've been to in the area. The format is mainly 5 stations with an A & B exercise. Monday/Wednesday is upper body Tuesday is lower body Thursday is glutes and abs Friday through the weekend is full body (this location isn't open Sunday so you'll have to hit up their other location) We've been going to the evening classes which are taught by Meghan. Who I'd say is one of our favorite instructors (we've been to two other instructor's classes). She's good with explaining and keeping time. She's also a good balance of being a cheerleader/"woo girl" or coming over when you're butchering the exercise! Be prepared to say hello & give your workout buddies high fives!

I had an AMAZING work out at Be Fit Training - Irvine. I booked my class on Classpass and I am so…read morehappy my schedule allowed me to squeeze in this workout. It was a "Strength" class with Joey and we were working on our upper body for the day. As with all first times visiting a studio, I arrived 10-15 minute early to sign waivers and settle in. Liz at front desk was super friendly and helpful. This studio is very thoughtful and well equipped. In the lobby there are lockers with a number pad for you to set your number code and merchandise for sale. As I entered the studio area, there is a water fountain for you to refill your water bottle. They have plenty of equipment and stations, so you don't need to bring anything. Just wear some comfortable workout clothes and tennis shoes. The work out area has many screens for information. I appreciate the visuals! Before class started, Joey came around to greet everyone. For the first timers to this studio, he asked about our injuries or areas of concerns. For the day of my class we had a warmup, 6 different stations, and a stretch/warmdown. Station 1: Seated Tricep Extensions Station 2: Kettlebell Bent Over Row Alternative Station 3: Military Press Station 4: Bench Press Narrow Grip Station 5: Floor Press Station 6: Incline Row The screens had visuals and helped us keep track of which rep we are on. Joey came around to check on our form and provided feedback so we could make the most out of our work out. I really liked how encouraging and motivational Joey was. An instructor with good energy like Joey is so important for my mental state during work outs. I really felt like I was being my best self during this work out. These classes change up every week and it'll be different each time you come. I only mentioned the above as an example. I really like changing things up from my usual work out because it really challenged my body to do better. Looking forward to trying more of the classes here at BFT. I'll be keeping an eye out for Joey on their schedule. I enjoyed this class enough to want to add BFT to my permanent workout routine.

I've taken close to 100 HIIT classes through ClassPass, and unfortunately, I've never had an…read moreexperience as uncomfortable as I've had at BFT. During my first class, the instructor, Raymond Elie, made a comment to me while I was putting my belongings away and happened to yawn. Throughout the class, he repeatedly singled me out in front of everyone, criticizing my energy and commenting on me not smiling. As a first-time visitor, this felt unnecessary and embarrassing, especially when trying out a new gym is often intimidating. Because of that experience, I didn't return for months. I chose not to leave a review at the time and simply moved on. Recently, I decided to give BFT another try. Unfortunately, the same instructor was teaching. As soon as I walked in, he immediately commented on my facial expression, asking why I wasn't smiling and (attempting to) joke about it with another staff member as if I wasn't right there. It made me feel uncomfortable right away, particularly since I noticed he did not make those comments towards any of the older women or men who walked in with a neutral expression. A few minutes into the workout, while correcting my form during a side plank, he made another remark - "I can tell you don't give out a lot of hugs" - after I misunderstood his instruction to "hug" the bench with my foot. At that point, I felt discouraged and honestly uncomfortable. It was the first time in all my HIIT experience that I genuinely considered leaving a class midway through. I have no issue with instructors correcting form. However, demeaning comments about my face or character are not constructive and very belittling. Again, I noticed he did not make these comments towards any of the men in the room or older women. In the 3 years I've been taking group fitness classes, no instructor has ever commented on my facial expression or tried to purposefully embarrass me in front of other class members. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and relays it to the instructor. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning.

The pool is useless if you are serious swimmer. Frequently 90°, I'm overheating after 300 yards. This pool is for geriatrics and kids. Also for their pool parties but not for real swimmers. Workout area is great, lots of racks. I hate the lighting though. The ceiling is covered in outdoor parking lights. I don't think it bothers anyone else but it's offensive to me. I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. When I answered, the hiring manager(I assume, she didn't bother introducing herself) conducted a phone screening but came across as impatient and condescending throughout the conversation. I understand that recruiters are often busy and screening many candidates, but first impressions matter. Regardless of whether someone is hired, applicants deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect.
