I like the spin classes the best as they are different from the other gyms in the area. Bikes are well maintained, music is great, workout varies each time - so no boredom. Arms used in workout too! If you try the spin/barre class you also get to have a full body workout. Instructors are friendly and do not intimidate Brooke offers an early morning workout that is a great start for the day. So i decided to join her one day as her plus one. First off, know that you have to drive all the way to the back of the plaza to find it. But there's plenty of parking. The studio is run by two nice trainers: Sally and Jordan. They are very open and all about helping you. They tell you their story and listen to yours. It's all about setting goals and appreciating the little accomplishments. First thing when you walk in is that it's one big room. Not little alcoves here and there. Just a huge mat for you to get sweaty on. I did notice there's not one mirror- which is quite interesting. There is complementary child care and very nice locker rooms. They are like to do one on one meetings to check in with you every other week. Their hours are a bit wonky so check the class schedule each week before coming in. But what I like most about this place is that if you can't do a conventional push up, they find another way to get your body to work the same muscles. My advice? Come try it out!

Their classes are a unique blend of strength, cardio and hiit but the foundation is weight training. Each day has a focus and flows into the next so you train evenly and don't risk overtraining any particular body part. They have a separate LIT area where they offer yoga, body pump, dance sweat and Pilates classes. Members get all of this for a price that is less than just about every group fitness studio in the area. They smartly located a bit off the beaten path but super convenient to get to from all the surrounding neighborhoods in central bucks county so your membership fee isn't going to pay for rent in an expensive shopping center. I find myself in Yoga a few days a week - the studio is beautiful and the mild heat is welcome in these bitterly cold winter months! I recommend Kristy's Wall class for a great deep stretch and Sarah's Power Flow for the ultimate mind/body stress relief! As part of my New Years Resolution, I am trying more of the fitness classes here, and thus far have taken Lisa's Tabata and Michelle's Burn class - both high-intensity interval training guaranteed to ramp up your energy! You'll also find pilates, barre, aerial, spinning, and martial arts classes here - ensuring you'll never get stuck in a rut! If you're just trying to become fitter, lose stubborn weight, or improve your weightlifting Boom is by far the best option in the area. I've been going to Sonic Boom for about 6 months now and I can't believe how much time I wasted at big brand gyms doing ineffective work outs. Before joining Sonic Boom I was getting pretty upset about a weight gain that kept on creeping up no matter how hard I tried to stop it. It was making my clothes uncomfortably tight and putting me in a bad mood all day. Fast forward to today and I'm back to what I weighed years ago, except now I'm stronger and my range of motion has greatly improved. The coaches have helped me every step of the way with chiseling away at my flexibility and introducing me to new lifts in a safe and non-intimating fashion. The workouts are what you make it. This studio had late morning hours on Saturday. The staff was friendly. The coach was ok and seemed to know most of the people.
