It's a well maintained place. Some areas of this park is really good, but there are some fields that are not in a good condition. Some have lost the grass and not regrown to full. In tournaments, we don't get a choice, but when possible we avoid it. Plenty of parking on both sides. It can be crazy during weekend tournaments!

I have now been the Kirkland Club President for 4 years and now have a great insight into how the organization works. I am so proud to say that I am part of LWYSA because of the level of caring and desire to create a place for everyone to play soccer at all levels. Everyone here cares about the safety and enjoyment of the players and coaches. LWYSA also manages the 60 Acres soccer complex from taking care of the building to the care and feeding of the grass fields. From Kindergarten to High School seniors this organization provides a place to play one of the greatest games ever.

Groups are kinda small, and the big fields are divided for those groups. As kids get older, they switch to other fields or days when other fields are open. They play pretty good. I am very proud of their women league :) Yhe thing I dont like is you have to pay for a membership annually. So if you started o march, they will still charge you by the end of the previous session (3 each month). Charging you on November because they "don't want yo bother you" in the middle of the season you are supposed to pay. Not that nice. On weekends evenings they are open for kids' parties with inflatables, soccer coaches, organizers, and rooms for cake or snacks. Staff is helpful. I like the vibe as all parents are on the same boat. Awesome thing is they sell coffee when training sessions in the morning :D

Our go to person we've been ordering from is Kristin, but I've been in and received help from Ryan and multiple different folks. All are welcoming and helpful. I wish I would have known about Risan a couple seasons back when we were having trouble finding cleats. They had a TON of options, same goes for bats ( they even had the Fire bat which was one of my son's top asked for bday items). There was a day recently where Kristin was not in, and I was able to still get a response from her via email and her coworker even text her to get a response. The team at Risan cares about their customers and that's rare to find nowadays. Every time I've been in I see someone else there getting great service, and you can tell they've had some relationships with local schools and teams for years and years. I also like that they're able to do small batch orders. We were considering doing a dozen hats for parents and Kristin was more than happy to get quotes for me. Next time we need any baseball gear for the team or just my son, we'll be hitting up Risan. Highly recommend for baseball gear in Kirkland/Redmond/Sammamish.

My kids (ages 7 and 10) genuinely look forward to their sessions and often say that an hour feels like five minutes. That's how much fun they're having! They started as beginner soccer players with minimal training, and in just a short time, the coaches have helped them build strong foundational skills while fostering a deep love for the game. More importantly, their confidence has grown immensely. One of my children is neurodiverse, and I cannot overstate how meaningful the coaches' support has been. They've taken the time to meet him where he is--slowing things down when needed, adapting workouts to match his capacity on any given day, and always showing patience and understanding. It's clear they're not just great coaches--they're great humans. I'm incredibly grateful that my kids have the opportunity to train at TOCA. It's been a game-changer for their soccer skills.

While I understand businesses may have rules regarding outside food, I was disappointed by the way the situation was handled. The staff member who spoke with me came across as rude and disrespectful. The explanation felt abrupt, and the interaction lacked the courtesy and customer service I would expect. My concern is not the policy itself, but the manner in which it was communicated. I hope management can provide additional customer service training to ensure guests are treated respectfully, even when enforcing policies.

The kids definitely have a great time every year & Pump It Up has a schedule for each reservation; the kids are introduced to the concept/safety/rules, led into one of the rooms where they get to play for about 30-40 minutes, then lead into a bigger room where they have other slides and additional activities to choose from (a 'high wind' simulation, photo booth), then lead upstairs to have food/cake with their friends. Those who work there are mostly high school kids doing the best they can & do just fine. Some of the cons is the parking is terrible; even when I was told by my family to come early to help set up & they have a few "reserved" spots up front, that can vary by the staff who aren't very kind about it even when it's discussed by the payor of the reservation & there is signage to park against the wall near an apartment building next door...or you have to park across the intersection about half a block near some other apartment complexes. So, basically the place is packed with large parties from morning to close so just keep in mind of this if you're planning to come out.

Also impressive was the effort she puts in for all the kids there. I could see the advancement in my daughter pretty quickly, she started putting together words and soon was reading smaller books. The curriculum is not limited to reading and writing but covers diverse topics on science, math, geography, Spanish and so on and is taught in a way that's easily grasped by these young tots. Even during the pandemic, Shantha took every effort to keep the teaching moving along via online classes with a similar curriculum. I highly recommend this school.

I started attending Kutting Edge during COVID times when most other gyms were either closed or I…read morejust didn't feel comfortable. I loved their "group" personal training approach. It feels like the best of both worlds. You get personal training and are in a gym environment. So here is a little how it works... There are a max of 4 people per 60 min session and everyone has their own marked off space with their own equipment. So no sharing, no close contact, none of that. You get your own specific personal workout that the (masked) trainer gives you in increments at a time, so if you have the attention span of a hummingbird you'll be ok because you only need to remember like 3 things at once. Everything is sanitized and they have a 30 min gap between sessions, so once again...minimal contact, maximum safeness. I am super impressed with the workouts, the new Redmond facility and the way they track and challenge me every time. They have a few different plans to choose from depending how often you want to attend. They also have group zoom sessions which are great to do from home. It's definitely not the cheapest workout option, but you get way you pay for and considering it is essentially personal training it's a pretty good deal. They also work really well with injuries and limitations, so that's refreshing. I would definitely recommend to pretty much anyone wanting to workout as they cater to all ages/shapes/fitness goals/experience so it's not a one size fits all approach. They are also into the whole golf TPI thing, so if you golf that can be helpful.
