Unethical is the word that comes to mind after receiving a letter i thought would contain my return…read moredeposit and instead was a "balance due" letter. Incentive Properties thinks tenants are responsible for painting their units even if the unit was in the exact condition from when they moved in minus a few holes used to hang pictures and a TV. methinksnot. psst... are you an investor? This specific apartment is renting at 28% below fair market value. Perhaps if they were renting it at regular price they wouldn't have to resort to shady tactics to recoup standard maintenance costs. Food for thought. I've called, emailed and most recently sent a certified demand letter. Next step will be to file suit along with formal complaints with DBPR / BBB / NAR for their ethics violation.

Charged me $800+ to paint a 700 square foot condo INFLATION. Charged me $31 for a broken toilet seat that was BROKEN the day I moved in. Sherry Wong is a VILE human and should never work with the public. She charged me the wrong amount for my water bill multiple times and forgot to tell me the company then changed. She is unprofessional and this entire company is full of scammers took my entire $810 deposit plus charged me $844 for a place that was wrecked when I moved in and was extremely outdated.

I moved into a Progress Residential property in 2018. The oven never held the correct temperature,…read morethe refrigerator had a rusted out ice maker. None of these things were repaired the entire time I lived there. I was never late paying my rent even through the pandemic, but jusr as we were coming out of the pandemic they raised the remt $120. I felt that the price was excessive. I only recommend moving into the recently renovated properties. That way the appliances are newer and in better condition. Currently most homes in Las Vegas are woefully over priced taking full advantage of the housing shortage.

When we arrived the house was absolutely filthy, the yard was unkept, and we had roaches and bugs everywhere. Since then we requested services for many things to be repaired including but not limited to the following. In the three years we have not been able to keep open windows due to improper fitted screens which we were told would not be repaired due to it not being deemed necessary, the front door has a gap at the bottom, never closing entirely so it let's lizards and all kinds of bugs in freely, and I personally had to repair the latch on the back door to ensure our safety. We are finally at a financially secure place in our life to upgrade to a better property and we are being stopped by all of the red tape. I am the only income for our household and have been since we moved in. My wife's credit report has the same address since 2011 and the information on the report is from before we were married. I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of assistance or interest in helping us move as I have never been late on a payment nor have I  ever defaulted on any utility bills. They let us move in with old information but will not let us transfer properties. They are slum lord at best and have terrible communication.

I recently had the good fortune to become acquainted with Matthew McLean of Shoreline Realty in…read moreDaytona Beach after observing his excellent service involving the sale of a neighbor's beachside Daytona Beach home. When I decided to put my own house on the market a few months ago, I remembered Shoreline Realty from the name on the side of Matthew's pick-up truck, looked him up, and reached out. We met at my home soon after to get acquainted, have Matthew get a look at the house, and voice our thoughts on appropriate updates/repairs, the asking price, for getting it on the market, etc. With Matthew's guidance and assistance in facilitating preparations, the house was listed on April 20th, had six showings, and had two solid offers within a week. In the interim, I've come to know Matthew as a high-energy person of integrity, with a wealth of local knowledge and resources who grew up in the area and is finely tuned to the local real estate markets. He's reliable, intelligent yet relatable, driven yet chill, and knows how to market properties to the best advantage for both buyers and sellers. His appreciation and knowledge of older homes such as mine, as well as his knowledge of how houses of all eras are put together (and his sense of humor), is a bonus. If you are looking for a real estate agent in Volusia County who's willing to put in the work and go the extra mile, I enthusiastically recommend Matthew McLean of Shoreline Realty.
