If I want something more substantial, there are always some slices of pizza on the ready. Have a little extra time? Get a sub made fresh to order. Keep an eye out for deals, which can save you a bunch of money. They run specials like buy one, get one and 2 for $xx slices/drink combo. I don't get gas here, because it it a little more expensive, but everything else is good and the lines are rarely long making it a nice quick stop.

T&R is a local, family-owned corner store and gas station. The store is well stocked with snacks,…read moredrinks, automotive items and some household staples; they also serve freshly prepared food. On this trip, I came for one specific thing, a monster taco for dinner. It's a huge tortilla (I wanna say 12") loaded up with beef (or chicken), cheese and several toppings of your choice for under $10! I got mine with beef, 1/2 mozzarella 1/2 cheddar, sour cream, salsa, green olives, black olives, banana peppers, jalapenos, mushrooms and hot sauce on the side. It took about 5 minutes from the time I ordered for my food to be ready. They don't have seating , but there are benches along the sidewalk. I opted to sit at the one on the corner and enjoy my monster taco. It did not disappoint! The beef was well seasoned and not greasy at all (see pic of wrapper after taco is gone). There was an ample amount of the toppings that I ordered. It was delicious bite after bite. I only wish the cheese was melted... Maybe put cheese on the tortilla and pop it in the pizza oven quick before putting everything else on. I would definitely go back and order one again and again and again. The staff is always friendly and their bathroom is always clean.

I understand it was the day before the holiday and usually the tall girl is in the kitchen with lightening speed but she was not behind the counter . Lunch is always usually available at your finger tips , but after lunch ? Forget it . they need better staff on busier days . I wish there was a place in barker that you could get more food options . I was last here about 2 weeks ago to sneak an iced tea for myself (Upstate Farms) which I don't usually drink anymore, but once in awhile it's not the end of the world. The guy that works here is really nice and I like to come here for gas once in awhile because they are such nice people. Plus it's open around the clock and conveniently located in an area with not much open late at night. I live about 10 mins from here. What I like about this store, despite the iffy service, is that they sell the Upstate Farms Iced Tea (Lemon) that I used to be addicted to. Most places don't. And I really appreciate that, as it's amazing iced tea. Still, the gas here is pretty pricy so I can't give it a 5. But the excellent service and the iced tea ensure it scores a very healthy 4. Be very careful in this parking lot in the winter... it gets icy, and becomes like walking on a hockey rink.

You know, that little thing you can use to keep the pump held closed without having to hold it so your gas pumps but your hands don't freeze in the winter? I don't know what they're really called... Anyway, I stopped on my way home from ladies night last night after my sister drove my SUV down to fumes. My 15 gallon tank was so empty, it actually took 15.9 gallons of gas... Yikes! Saved in the nick of time! I made the huge mistake of looking up while I was pumping my gas and I saw some of the hugest sharpest looking spiders ever in huge webs all over the top of the pump and roof... I literally just got the willies remembering how menacing they looked (I have an irrational fear of spiders). But I'm glad they were there and not in my yard or around my house... Blech! If you're nuts like me, don't look up. Well, maybe you should because then you'll know that nothing is about to fall on your head. Or maybe it is... Okay, gas pumps are great, the little pump stopper thingy is great, snacks in the store are great, cashier always friendly. But those spiders... I'll stop now... Haha!

Usually has been mid-price gas and seems new and the pumps work perfectly and the convenience store inside was expensive but decently stocked so I give it a decent rating...
