My latest experience with Roto Rooter includes them doing work that wasn't needed / not fixing the plumbing issue, and hiking up the price. 3x they visited the property and didn't fix the actual cause. I had to hire another company that fixed it immediately. When asking about the work done and if some of it was actually needed, their office secretary Jon turned very argumentative. Bad look. But it seems that's his usual encounter with his customers based on his responses to reviews online. Be very careful when choosing to work with them. There are many other reliable and trusting plumbers in Lake and Mendocino county.

The man on the phone asked if yesterday afternoon or today (9:30 am) would be better. I said today would be fine. 9:30 am came and went. I made several calls to two different numbers yet I was never able to contact them or get a call back. This interaction has proven that even though they did an excellent first job, it is a waste of time trying to contact them again. As much as I hate to do it, I am forced to rate this business as a one star due to a lack of communication and a less than decent effort to return my calls. If you can get them out to your house you will get great results. The trick is, getting them there to do the work. I won't make the mistake of contacting them again.
