I love the character of the room. I love all the little details, the personalized Muskegon River, soaps, and shampoos, the home made dessert station when you come in by the elevator, the wonderful little coffee station, which made my morning pleasant. I also love that they had caffeine free tea available for bedtime. A noise machine, comfy pillows and sheets...all the details were rights I also love the quiet little street where you can walk and find several restaurants, some great food and beer close by. I want to return another time because it's within walking distance of a river where you can go tubing down the river. I will make this a regular stop for travel:

At the check-in desk, the receptionist provided a token for a free appetizer from the on-site restaurant, and there was a basket of complimentary cookies for guests! My room seemed more renovated than the photos of the hotel rooms online, which was a pleasant surprise, and was extremely comfortable. The TV had the option to cast from your personal device, so you are able to stream Netflix/YouTube from the big screen! I had no issues with the wifi during my stay. There was also a black-out blind which helped since the sun does set until after 9pm here! The location was also extremely convenient located on Main St - walking distance to downtown (1 mile), and just a short drive to Fremont Lake Park. The restaurant is open weekdays starting at 4pm, and has weekly specials. You can choose to eat at a table in the restaurant, or order to-go and have your meal delivered straight to your room. The continental breakfast buffet runs from 6-9am and is stocked with fresh fruit, an array of bagels/english muffins, and even an automatic pancake machine!

This ranch did not disappoint. Each room is decorated so cute, the beds were very comfortable and having a private bathroom for each room was a defendant plus. The breakfast was homemade and very delicious! The owner made sure each room was clean and even asked us if the breakfast time was good for us. You won't get this kind of service at a hotel. The surrounding ranch was beautiful. Sitting on the large deck overlooking the horse ranch with coffee in hand was so calming. I wanted to stay longer. I would recommend staying here for as long as your vacation allows. You may even bring your horse or book to ride their horse. They have a large property with trails, along with state land behind them which also has many trails. I would recommend staying here, you won't want to leave.

We had a gorgeous view and enjoyed nightly bonfires. We rented kayaks, fishing, and rented a golf cart. The kids loved getting ice cream everyday. The beach was great for kids, not too deep and even the little kids could jump off the dock. The owners were so accommodating and helpful with everything. They even gave us some of their own personal coffee filters because we forgot ours. They showed us the prettiest places to take the kayaks and were so kind. They did everything they could to make the whole experience perfect! We will definitely be back!

We get there and the man…read morechecking you in was very nice we get to our room and there is a very small TV maybe 18 inches tall by 28 inches long. Only antena, no cable etc. The room was a hot tub room with lake view 250.00, very old carpet , drop ceiling, and what they called a hot tub was a jacuzzi tub with six Jets. Very Old. No coffee pot, no frig no microwave and you can not buy a pop and there is no ice. Dinner was included and dinner was fish sticks, what looked like boiled chicken in a red sauce and what they called meat loaf with instant potatoes, canned gravey, canned green beans and canned corn with dried out dinner rolls. We tried to eat it was so bad we went back to our room picked up our luggage and left. I'm sorry this was place is not worth even 10 min of your time.
