I have a couple of shirts from here, but pretty hard to pull off, especially as I stumple into my mid-thirties grup lifestyle. I have to say, though, that I have complete and utter infatuation for any woman who shops here - if pieced together correctly, a CN outfit can be deadly.

They're lightweight, slim but not tight, and have great hardware touches. They work in a business-casual environment. I've picked up an alpaca sweater, a nylon jacket as well, and two pairs of side zip mid-tops. Love love love the sweater. It's so thin and comy. The sleeves are a bit long but it looks good and really keeps me warm without overheating. The jacket is great too. It's fitted and is holding up well. The shoes are fantastic. I hate tying shoes and now I never have to! They are casual but also semi-dressy. I've really been eyeing up a leather jacket and a few bags from a few seasons ago. And seriously where else can you get a tasteful neon colored leather jacket. Seriously CN is the bane of my checking account. Yet I don't regret a single thing of theirs.

Shopping here the worst boutique experience I've had in my life, period, full stop…read more I was trying on swimsuits and shorts, and I mentioned off handedly that I had never heard of one of the denim brands in the store. The other salesperson who wasn't helping me seemed shocked that I hadn't heard of it, and asked me where I was from. I told him that I lived in the city, and he followed up by asking where I get my denim. I named my go to brand and was absolutely shocked when he replied "Ew. That's so twenty years ago. The brands we have here are the top selling brands right now." Pro tip: insulting your customers is a great way to guarantee that they'll never come back. Also, the brand I referenced was launched less than ten years ago... rude and ignorant is a winning combination. I told my salesperson that I was no longer interested in buying anything because her colleague insulted me, and to her credit, she pulled me into a dressing room and offered me a 10% discount and waived the sales tax. She tried to get the other salesperson to say sorry but I wasn't interested in a fake apology. Needless to say I won't be back. The best part, I looked up the brand that the salesperson shamed me for not knowing and Urban Outfitters stocks it. The pinnacle of luxury denim, indeed.

I had a wedding to attend this past Saturday 8/15/15 at 7PM in NJ, and I did not feel comfortable in anything in my closet. I rushed to Valentine Rose after a friend's recommendation that afternoon. They helped me select a few dresses to try within my budget, and I purchased a black/blue lace cocktail dress for $80.00. Amazing quality, machine washable, fit like a glove, and I received plenty of compliments that night. I was in and out withing 30 mins. Needless to say I will return this week to shop for a dress for my bridal shower. Happy shopping..

I do not recommend shopping at this store. I recently made a purchase here and was extremely…read moredissatisfied with the product, and especially the service I received. Instead of offering to order me a size that fit me properly, I was persuaded to purchase a size up that did not fit correctly and was recommended to get it altered, which I now regret. I was told by the sales representative that I would receive store credit if I decided to bring the item back. This was one of the main reasons I decided to purchase the item. Unfortunately the tailor was not able to adjust the item to fit my size. When I brought the item back to the store with the tags and receipt, the owner immediately accused me of wearing the item and deceitfully reattaching the tags. The store owner continued to berate me and spoke to me in an extremely condescending manner, then told me that I was not "thinking logically" in my attempt to return an item that did not fit me. She insisted that I was not taking into consideration how her business was going to be impacted if she were to let me give back the item and provide me with store credit, which should be of no concern to the customer rightfully returning a purchased item. The most hurtful part of this incident occurred when the store owner spewed lies at me: she stated that there are signs all over the store explaining that items cannot be brought back after 2 weeks. However, when I requested that she point to one of these signs, she was unable to, as they did not exist. The store owner's actions made it exceptionally clear to me that her only concern is running a business, that she has no consideration for her customers, and no care for their satisfaction with her products. The owner gave me no rational reason why she couldn't take back the item, she did not offer store credit, or even a kind word. I enjoy shopping but I would never go back here after the way I was treated. I hope my experience isn't indicative of how the owner treats other customers.
