But what is the best part about Le Chalet, is that it is private, quaint, and the owner is incredibly friendly. We lived about 10 minutes away and once we found Le Chalet, it's the only place we went out to eat at. The owner always recognized us and was extremely courteous. One time we left a large tip (not standard in France) because we were so pleased with the service, and the next time we went to eat here (a couple weeks later) she brought it back to us saying that we had overpaid. (!!!) We liked this place so much that we had them cater a dinner we held at home for our parents after our MBA graduation ceremony. It is kind of hard to find and not well known, which although one of the nice things about it (because you never have to wait), I really want the owner to get more business, because she deserves it.
