The waitress did everything she could, but they need to hire an extra help. We've waited 20 min to get some water and the menu - we booked a table for 9p. The calzone: raw egg and unmelted cheese. Went here for a fabulous lunch after touring Fountainbleu with my husband. I had the most delightful cod and my husband had a pizza. With a carafe of rose the whole lunch was €60. Incredible. What a great memory! read more

Terrible service. They brought our whole order at once without pausing for the Amal followed by our main pasta dishes. The red sauce on top of the cannelloni was very acidic without any evidence of having passed through the hands of a chef. It seemed straight off the can. Will never return. read more

Stubled on this place after our self guided tour of the Chateau Fontainebleau. The waiter was very accomodating. I forgot what I ordered but it was a linguine with clams in a sauce of clam juice, wine, garlic and tomatoes. Yummy. I really enjoyed this especially after a long day of walking around. I needed that carb load to refuel. Also ordered a caraffe of the Rose wine. When I came back to the states I found the bill convered to under $40! That was pretty good considering the exchange rate now and that France is just so darn expensive. What a nice economical yet delicious find. read more

This is the most dependable and affordable restaurant in Fontainebleau, in my estimation, although I haven't been to many. I have eaten here twice as many times as I have eaten anywhere else. I met a guy on the bus one day who was speaking Italian and after some small-talk he said that he was a pizza chef here. I always find it encouraging when Italian restaurants outside Italy actually have Italian cooks/chefs. I recommend the tagliolini alla Bolognese, escalope alla Milanese, and charcouterie appetizer. They also have a good ambiance and waitstaff who are nice and generally patient with foreigners. read more

A very pleasant surprise in a town that butchers any cuisine other than French. This was good, hearty, fresh Italian food that will satisfy even the fussiest palate. The Tagliatelle Scoglio was nicely rendered; generous amounts of shellfish & seafood with a mild but tasty sauce. The mozzarella and tomato pizza had the perfect chewy yet crisp base. Tiramisu was decent but nothing to write home about.Huge portion sizes on the dessert though. The ice-cream sundae was American sized but European tasting, if that makes sense. Most of the dishes were priced between 10 to 17 Euros and that's really cheap for the quality of the food! Will return for sure. read more

Must go place. I have tried quite a few restaurants in Fontainebleau and as a vegetarian the options have mostly been limited. This serves amongst the best italian fare. Salad options are excellent (yes you actually get something more than ceasar salad!) and the spaghetti pesto is well worth its name. The tiramisu and cafe top it off well! read more
