I added this business after eating here and seeing that they were not on Yelp. We stumbled into the town en route to candlelit Saturday night at Vaux le Vicomte (the navette picks up just across the square). The signs past new management Andre had a rockstar dinner for 48 Euros. The chef trained in the UK and is a master of fresh ingredients. He serves what us fresh and does it unassumingly and beautifully. We started with a avocado and shrimp salad and fresh asparagus, then had veal stew and scorpion fish and finished with panna cotta and Apple pie. Lovely staff, who are super friendly. The place looks new and I would love for them to succeed. Make a stop--I promise it's worth your trip and it is leaps and bounds fresher (and cheaper) than a meal you'd find in Paris!

Le Chalet is the best deal I found in France. For 15 EUR, you get a full three course meal that is…read moredelicious. I dare you to find a deal like that anywhere else in France. But what is the best part about Le Chalet, is that it is private, quaint, and the owner is incredibly friendly. We lived about 10 minutes away and once we found Le Chalet, it's the only place we went out to eat at. The owner always recognized us and was extremely courteous. One time we left a large tip (not standard in France) because we were so pleased with the service, and the next time we went to eat here (a couple weeks later) she brought it back to us saying that we had overpaid. (!!!) We liked this place so much that we had them cater a dinner we held at home for our parents after our MBA graduation ceremony. It is kind of hard to find and not well known, which although one of the nice things about it (because you never have to wait), I really want the owner to get more business, because she deserves it. Please, go eat at Le Chalet!!!
