Do they truly believe children parties are held at 7 PM? We called multiple times to get this delivery done earlier but we were told that deliveries were handled elsewhere. Was delivering this in the morning or before 2 PM that hard to manage? I had to remind them I didn't care about where deliveries were being handled as long it got delivered conveniently. After all, if I paid you for the cake and you have another location delivering.... my expectation is that you'll still handle it!! They delay of the cake caused delays on our end as well, nothing dramatic but we had a guest leave earlier and couldn't be there for the big cake hoopla. It would have been nice to avoid that! Anyways, I'll use them again in the future but will definitely not use their delivery service.

They were more than twice the size of pastries at other places. I got a raspberry almond croissant, an almond croissant and a pear and custard Danish. The great thing about getting my parents food is that they always offer to share it with us, so getting them food is like getting ourselves food. Haha. I had a small taste of each pastry and they were delicious. Very fresh and flakey. The pear and custard Danish was my favourite, but the others were good too. The croissants had a good amount of ground almond filling. There wasn't too much raspberry filling in the raspberry one, but that's ok because it kept it from being too sweet. Service was efficient. The decor is pretty with faux leather benches and funky light fixtures. Really nice place for a dessert date. There is free parking in front of the bakery, but it's just one row of parking and the street, which is very busy is behind you/in front of the bakery. The texture is nice and light almost that of a whipped cheesecake. I did find out you can call ahead 48 hrs to place a custom order which i definitely plan on doing as their Crème brûlée and Bailey's cheesecakes were screaming my name.
