Cakes, pastries, cookies, sandwiches, salads, pizza, bread, coffee and they also have Italian products where you could buy(cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, cold cuts, pantone ect). My favorites here are the cannolis, the lobster tale and also the sandwiches. I also love the cafe cream and the ice limoncello. For Valentine, I had their cupcakes: chocolate, vanilla. The chocolate cupcake was dry. The bottom of the cake was sticking on the cupcake paper. They seem to have changed recipe of their chocolate cakes. The vanilla cupcake was better, although not soft, nor moist. The frosting tasted like shortening rather than buttercream.

After all, if I paid you for the cake and you have another location delivering.... my expectation is that you'll still handle it!! They delay of the cake caused delays on our end as well, nothing dramatic but we had a guest leave earlier and couldn't be there for the big cake hoopla. It would have been nice to avoid that! TL;DR/The Short Version: Cute little Venezuelan bakery with good tequenos and empanadas…read more The Long Version: I love South American food, so when my husband and I were planning a trip to Laval, I did a search for some South American food places near our hotel or other places we already planned to visit and I found Teque Pancho. I got us a tequeno and some empanadas to have as snacks back at the hotel. The girl working there was really welcoming and friendly. She even gave me a free tequeno, which was the smoked crab flavour. It's a stick of imitation crab surrounded by a cream cheese mixture wrapped in the tequeno dough. I bought a "Yoyo" (ham and cheese) tequeno $4.50, a Pabellon cornmeal empanada $5.50, a chicken cornmeal empanada $4.50 and a chicken wheat flour empanada $4.50. Everything was delicious, but I think I liked the cornmeal empanadas the best, as they were crunchy on the outside. My husband didn't actually like the tequeno because he found it too doughy. I agree that it was doughy, but I still liked it, although not as much as the empanadas. They also had cakes and other desserts, which I didn't try, but they looked good. The space is small but there is some seating to eat in. There is free parking in front of the bakery, but only a few spots and since it's on a busy street it is a bit difficult to get in and out of the spots, especially if adjacent spots are occupied. I took a side of chinotto and we dined on the terrace under the sun in warm weather and light refreshing breeze. I was a happy man! I'd rate this place 5 stars but will dock this place 1 star for a stupid comment one of the staff said to us who didn't want to prepare 2 sandwiches for us because apprently we weren't paying on the same bill. I was forced to get another number and wait a few more minutes for honestly no reason at all. Silly staff woman can't handle 2 sandwiches.
