It was a fuel pump failure, Rahul, the A&R owner, showed up with a flatbed tow quickly, expertly maneuvered his truck into position in a tight spot and had the van secured in no time. I locked my keys in my car in Walpole NH on a Saturday and the business owner arrived from Keene NH and unlocked my car before the frozen food in the grocery bags which were locked in the car melted! A GREAT value too. A Keene competitor quoted me a price that was $50 more, plus the competitor would have charged me an extra $20 for expedited services. I recommend calling this company first when you need roadside assistance.

A few days later my daughter returned to Maine when she experienced a problem on her way home. I called Gauthiers and explained the car wasn't safe to travel with and asked what was my best course of action. They asked for my address and sent a tow truck to my house three hours away the next morning. I was shocked to say the least knowing how customer service in America has degraded over the years. The garage had experienced a problem with their alignment machine which they weren't aware of at the time. They ended up fixing the issue, replacing two tires and bringing the vehicle back to us . This is the only review I have ever posted and felt the need to let the people know that great people and great customer service is alive and well at Gauthier's garage! Thank you very much from your friends in Maine!

The guy doing the inspection might have had the worst attitude I've seen. He barked at me not to pull it in, that was about all the communication he had with me, didn't say a word, didn't even look at me once. Ok, maybe he was having a bad day, whatever, I went into the office to pay and there was 3 people sitting there and, again, not one acknowledged me or looked at me, finally one guy just blurted out what I owe, I paid him, he gave me my change, and that was it, not even a thanks or anything. Its too bad cause I just moved to Winchendon last year and was looking for a new mechanic for my vehicles and my girlfriends vehicles, but it sure as hell isn't going to be this place, I can't understand how they have any positive reviews with employees like this.
