This Sunday morning a coyote pup was struck by a car in our neighborhood. She was conscious but seriously injured. We called Critters Care and a vet arrived in about 15 minutes. When I made the appointment, Dr. Clark's office staff refused to give me the amount of money that he charge to come out to my place in 9 mile. It turned out to be $100 on top of the charge for the visit. What a rip off. We were requesting a shot of Cytopoint for my dog's allergies, a medication that he's taken for years and typically lasts for up to three months. The dosage that Dr. Clark gave my dog was evidently insufficient and did not work even for a day, so we paid about $350 for nothing. Dr. Clark refused to come back out and give him the proper dosage, and wanted to prescribe Apoquil instead, a medication that we refused from the beginning. So disappointing. read more

dr clark took care of my cat when nobody else would. i believe it was a friday, all vets were booked and we were denied by all local emergency vets (don't even get me started.) dr clark got back to me very quickly and came to help my cat. clark is old school and a little less gentle than my liking, but he helped my baby and that's all i could ask for. he also kept in touch for any updates on my cat during his recovery. i would recommend him, he's a nice guy and he definitely cares about his patients. read more

Our dog injured his rear leg, no way I could get him to a vet, he's too big and our car is too small. Critters Care called back quickly, set up an appointment for the doctor to come to us, same day! Maybe we caught him on a less busy day, I don't know, but I was amazed and pleased. He came, checked over our boy, gave us some NSAID pills which are very effective on relieving the pain, and relieved some of our fears. His price was very reasonable considering it was a house call! The noises my dog was making out of pain and torture was the most traumatic thing I have every heard. If he cared about animals would he first make sure they were comfortable/ numb instead all I could hear is my dog shaking and squealing in pain while under his care. It was horrible!!! Probably my worst nightmare! This man should no longer be working on any animal. I called him to come put my sweet baby down. She was 17.5 years old. His bedside manner was terrible. He took many phone calls during the process. He had to keep going back to his car to get more meds as whatever he gave my baby girl ( 8 lb poodle) did not work and hurt her horribly. Finally after a lot of trauma she was gone. Reluctantly I let him take her with him to be the go between and give her to the cremation company. He made us put her in a garbage bag. My gut instinct was really telling me to drive by his place. My sweet baby girl was tossed under a tree ( in the garbage bag) near old pallets and old cars. We ended up taking her back. Called a cremation company ourselves and did the exchange. I've told everyone I know about this and several people have driven by only to see garbage bags tossed under the tree by his house with flies swarming them. I've been devastated that I allowed this evil creep to come anywhere near my poor sweet dog esp during that time. Please please don't go to him. There's noway the positive reviews are real! Btw she passed in June. I couldn't bring myself to write a review until now as I have felt horribly guilty and devastated since then. read more

yeah, the guy clearly cares till its as simple as a joint tap and lavage, a relatively simple procedure. he will tell you, oh i need to go look that up, he will tell you when to call him and if others call at the same time their is blowback of frustration on the customer. he is old and senile. often forgetting what your animal has gone through as well as the animals current condition. i wonder about him running a business off an expired DVM license. this guy is great for prescribing antibiotics. i have had many encounters with this guy. if it is something antibiotics can fix, he is a good prescriber. but any real vet work, i have had both cats die under his care and my service dog currently which was brought back from sepsis has been all but ignored without the point where the sepsis began even been looked at as more then superficial even though it has not closed up in 6 months time and he was told that upon initial examination. septic arthritis.. just put the dog to death. over what? a simple matter of a joint tap and flush? the dog has shown more promise of being able to walk then that. at this point ive sought help else where.. my dog walks again. NOT BECAUSE THIS GUY HELPED MORE THEN PRESCRIBING ANTIBIOTICS. if you know anything about anything in the medical field you know sepsis is a time sensitive thing. septic arthritis is no different. time sensitive. this guy does more harm then good. February 11, 2025 I called Critters Care. Dr. Bob arrived. I told him my 85 pound, 15 year old Australian Sheperd mix dog wasn't feeling well. I also told him Dr. Bob Blue had laryngeal paralysis which meant he could not be over excited or he would not be able to breathe. Dr. Bob checked him over, gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and one for pain. I asked him if he could trim Blue's toenails at which point doctor Bob reached underneath Blue, grabbed his front and back opposite legs and jerked them underneath his body causing Blue's body to fall over hard on his side. As Blue struggled to get up, Dr. Bob jumped on Blue holding him down while he tried to cut Blue's toenails. Blue was struggling to get up under Dr. Bob's weight and immediately began gasping for air. I yelled at Dr. Bob to get off of Blue!! When my dog was finally able to get to his feet, he ran and hid under the table, struggling and gasping to breathe. Poor, poor Blue. Dr. Bob charged me $265 and told me to call him if my dog didn't get better. Unfortunately, Blue passed away six days later. It hurts me thinking that Dr. Bob inflicted such pain on my poor dog in his dying days. Dr. Bob clearly needs to RETIRE! He is unable to professionally and humanely help when your precious dog or cat needs it Rather most. I not only say no to calling Critter Care, I say HELL NO!!! read more

How this man is still allowed to practice veterinary medicine is beyond me! I called him to euthanize my dying chihuahua who was having labored breathing for about 5 hours. Mind you my chihuahua is 16 years old and my sweet baby boy. Dr. Clark got here looked at him checked his breathing with a stethoscope noting he had a severe heart murmur and clearly seeing he was having a hard time breathing. He also noted he had an abscessed teeth, which he did, but could not be pulled because my vet was concerned he would die under anesthesia because of his enlarged heart and his heart murmur. Dr. Clark told me he was NOT in respiratory distress and in my grief I believed him and did what he said which was to give him a shot of B-vitamins to increase his appetite and a shot of antibiotics. One of which caused him to yelp in pain. He then said that he might feel better if he removed some of the abscessed teeth he had and he did. Right there in the parking lot with no anesthesia because they were "loose" and then no pain meds afterwards. You may say it is my fault for letting him do it, but you have to understand I was in so much pain myself I WANTED to believe he would get better. I DO NOT HAVE A DEGREE IN VETERINARY MEDICINE AS DR. CLARK DOES! He had to have known and I SHOULD have recognized that it was indeed in respiratory distress caused by his heart problems. So I got to watch my sweet baby boy die slowly over the course of the day not being able to breathe because the money I DID have to euthanize him was spent on two frigging shots and a torture session of pulling my babies teeth with no anesthesia. This guy should have his license pulled! DO NOT GO TO HIM! read more

Believe me when I say if it were possible to give this absolute quack of a "veterinarian" 0 stars, I would. Our family dog fell ill this past week with what we believe to be parvo (we wouldn't know for sure considering "Dr" Clark did zero diagnostic procedures, didn't even so much as test his urine, blood, feces, etc). Merely sent us on our way with random antibiotics and just seemed to hope for the best. Our dog has now passed this morning. He completely ignored our concerns and worries, telling us "just because he isnt getting better doesn't mean he's getting worse". He is a negligent provider and seems primarily concerned with how he'll be paid (though he says he works with patients on payment plans). PLEASE save yourself and your pet the trouble and find someone else. Anyone else. Dr Clark can rot in hell. read more

He really listens to what you have to say. My dad has a little dog that's been ill for sometime and Dr. Clark has been exceptionally good with my dad who is 92 and on a set income, his prices are beyond fair. Dr. Clark is a mobile Vet, and his house is in the Valley. First things first, he is great. We've used him twice for each out our dogs and he was so helpful. He came really quickly and was able to help us and gave us his card to call for free consults later on if we needed anything. He is a little...blunt but he knows his stuff and is very kind. If i could rate zero stars I would. I am mortified at how these people treated my family and my dog. I had scheduled to have my 12 year old Akita put down a week ago ....and have revolved the entire last 2 weeks around preparing to watch her pass today. I called at 8am to see when they would be coming to my house. No response. My husband received a call 45min later from a woman stating that the Dr's flight was canceled (he was on vacation) therefore the appointment is canceled...and that I could bring her into the vet to have her put down. Then said "so what do you wanna do" she was completely unsympathetic towards me with an extremely harsh tone. My husband hung up on her not knowing what to do. I called them back with no answer until almost an hour later. I told her I am upset that the appointment was canceled with no prior courtesy call. She began yelling very harshly that she had called. I stated calling the hour of the apt isn't prior notice, and how unprofessional this is. She was yelling ma'am!! Ma'am!!! I have no control over flights being canceled, out of my control!!! I asked to speak with someone else and she stated it was only her and the Dr. I expressed how concerning that is being that she is rude and harsh with sensitive matters. She showed no empathy at all I didn't even get a "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience." My husband took time off work to watch our baby pass and now she will remain in suffering until next Friday bc no where can get her in now. I don't understand how a company that claims to love animals can do this to people. read more

Brenda and Dr Clark so were helpful and sweet to me. This was my first sick cat. They we're able to get me in the day I called. He came to my house and assessed my boy, he ended up needing to take him for more procedures. His prices are very very reasonable and he did everything he could for my boy. Those that use Dr. Clark for veteranian needs. DONT!! He came here to treat Thor with and infection in his mouth and clean his teeth. Well I set a blanket and towels down for him to do that as well as towels. He sedated him pretty good and said it would be 150-250 depending on if he had to do an extraction. Well he didn't need to but still cost 250. Now fine however. I will probably have to replace a expensive rug and due to him not being mindful of him staying on the blanket. Blood and the fact that Thor lost control of his bowels and Dr Clark didn't care and put his knee in it and kept moving it around from each side of him. I'm not sure if the utensils were even sanitized. He came here Monday to access what he needed to do and he wanted to use bathroom and doesn't bother washing his hands. (I have a pet peeve about that?) Knowing he did that Monday he asked to use bathroom again today and I told him there was soap and a towel to wash his hands. Nope again he didn't use it. However he did take it upon himself to use the hand towel to clean his knee from the poop. I mean WHO DOES THAT?!?!??! He also left all the bloody paper towels in the bathroom garbage. If he's not sanitary then whose to say he wasn't when he treated my dog? Also during Thor's sedation he manhandled him like a sack of potatoes. Soo not happy and won't recommend him to anyone. You would also think with him being a strictly Mobil vet he would come with at least puppy pads to put animals on. Ugh!!! So frustrated!!! read more
