Late review on my part but much credit due! My dog was having allergic reactions to just about every brand of dog food out there, dry and raw. ... he became extremely inflamed over the course of a week whereas he'd have a small reaction and it would subside within a couple of days. I took him in to see Dr. Watkins, I was with my Grandpa that day who requires constant attention and a young, hyper-anxious dog. The staff (I'm so sorry I can't recall your names!!) saw me walking my Grandps to the door with my pooch in tow, she quickly ran out the door and took our patient right in so I was able to help Grandps more easily - thank you! They were also very friendly with me, someone who knows "a lot about nothing" with many of my own ideas of what kind of care I thought my little guy should have; Dr. Watkins patiently, and thoroughly answered all of my questions, another thank you! Concerning payment, at the beginning of the appointment I was told they would not issue care without informing me of the price first, followed with my permission, and that's exactly how the visit went. ... the allergic reaction was taken care by medications, but within a month severe reactions began happening again. I called in for advice and spoke directly with the Doc. He didn't try frightening me back into the office for another appointment but gave recommendations and assured me to bring him in if I can't manage the reaction on my own. All is good and well with the family unit, now, and I feel more confident having an understanding Vet behind me. Thank You, thank you, thank you! read more
