Everything was fresh and flavorful. The menu was in Korean and Spanish and the workers spoke spanish. We went during the week, so the restaurant was not very crowded. After our meal they brought us refreshing watermelon slices. I would definitely come back here and try something else on the menu.

I recommend making a reservation so you can get a private booth - this really adds to the experience! They are best known for their parrilladas. Where you can share with a couple of friends, a mini bbq with lettuce, kimchi and other delicious toppings to create a very authentic Korean meal. Although they have very good dishes, I don't recommend their seafood (there are so many better, more fresh options). Hands down their BBQ is the best, but if you are vegetarian, I recommend their spicy noodles (they are my favorite) and I like to accompany it with the sides they give everyone - especially their healthy and flavorful kimchi. You can also order a tortilla of eggs and veggies to share. The beauty of this food is that it is perfect to share with a group of friends or colleagues - if you come alone you won't be able to try all of these great flavors you probably didn't even realize you were missing. Sukine also has a mini market where you can buy traditional Korean ready-made food and products to take home with you as well. One of my favorite restaurants this side of town!

It was a cold winter's night when my partner and I decided to find refuge from the rain in Everday…read moreSushi. We had always walked past this Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant so it was about time we came in - and it was definitely worth it! We started with a perfectly made roll as an appetizer, it had exactly the right cream cheese-rice-fish ratio. Now, here is where we went wrong. I love kimchi and more importantly spice...but both my partner and I over estimated our spice tolerance. We are used to asking for the highest spice level and always being underwhelemed, so here, no different we said we wanted the strongest spice they had--and they held nothing back! My partner, according to the waitress, had ordered the spiciest dish on the menu, the Mun- o dop bap: a delcious rice dish of octopus (unfortunately, it was a bit overcooked), sauteed veggies and a spicy sauce (where on top of the spicy sauce you can choose to add spice) I chose the Kimchi dop bap, traditional korean kimchi (it was delicous I definitely recommend it) rice dish with veggies sauteed in sesame oil. It comes spicy (I asked for extra spice-wrong move). The service was great - our waitress was extremely friendly and the food came out quickly. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic date (although somewhat quiet). Overall, this would have been an exceptional dinner if we hadn't gone over board with the spice. However, we definitely warmed ourselves up on this cold evening. Tip: Pay in cash and get a 30% discount on sushi. Sit on the second floor -- you will have a great view of the city. If you end up making the mistake of ordering your dish too spicy, ask them for "salsa de unagi" a sweet sauce that can help cover the spice. They will give you as much as you need - free!

Was craving some sushi and Korean and was left still wanting it after my meal. Not used to the chives or the heart of palm in my cali roll either, that was very different. This is day two and I am homesick for Michigan, because at least I have a ton of great sushi and Korean options. My veggie bibimbap was less than stellar and besides the carrots and the bean sprout it had way too many weird veggies that don't belong in a bibimbap, ever, broccoli, zucchini and red pepper to name a few. It tasted more like a stir fry than a bibimbap.

We were on a walking tour of the area with a local and she brought us here to try something unique. I had the shrimp and cheese empanada and hubby had the seafood. Yum! They were piping hot from the fryer but super tasty!! We paid about $18 US for empanadas, wine, water and a juice

I had some sort of soup and a cheese empanada + a coke in a glass bottle. The food comes very quickly, 30 seconds after you order it. I did get some comments about being a foreigner but when they realized I could understand what they were saying we all had a good laugh. My suggestion is to order one item first and then look around the room and see what other people are eating. There is a good chance the locals know better than you what is good. If you are in the area this is a great experience, nothing fancy but really fun to watch their system work like clockwork. They also have seating outside but you loose something sitting down.
