Or a hilarious one, probably, to those with me :) The whole grain dough of the other empanada was pretty good, but unfortunately the cheese was not melted and the veggies were not hot, nor were they mixed together. I could not finish that one. With so many amazing empanada places around, this place is probably better for its pizza and pride!

There is a bench directly across from the stand with two stools as well. The pizza was really good. I got the Pizza Alternativa. It has arugula, cheese, "bacon", and sun-dried tomatoes but they didn't have the tomatoes so I asked for basil instead. The flavors came together nicely. I'd go back for sure.

It was miserable compared to others I've had in the neighborhood, definitely not what I would have expected for the price. Total bill for two (one shared entree, two main dishes, a cup of wine and some mineral water for each) came out to US$ 140. The sole silver lining (the second star in this review) is for the service, as the staff had the grace not to ignore us while we were waiting and offered a free (tiny) entree of abalones with mayo as the minutes dragged on.
