I don't usually write reviews, but I want to share my experience with this office. The doctor is really nice and friendly, and that's why I came here - because of all the great reviews on Yelp. They use a therapy called NUCCA, where the doctor adjusts something behind your ear. It's supposed to help your spine balance out without the constant adjustments you get with traditional chiropractors. After my first visit, I felt a bit better for one day. So, I went back for a second session, as the doctor suggested, and again, I felt better for a short while. Then they wanted me to come back in a week, which I did for a third time. But the next day, my body felt all out of balance. My left side felt weird, and I always want to hold something on my left hand to keep my body balance. I was scared. I didn't go back to Dr. Cripe. Instead, I saw two other chiropractors to see their opinions, they told me the same thing that my pelvis had rotated. I spent almost $1000, and it seems like my body got even more unbalanced. I chose this place because of the great reviews, but I want to warn you guys that five-star reviews don't always mean everything's perfect. The doctor is nice, but this therapy can have risks. So, think twice before coming here. read more

For nearly two months I had been suffering from neck pain, dizziness, extreme anxiety, ear and head fullness and tension headaches that made it uncomfortable to even lay my head on a pillow. My life was quickly imploding. I switched chiropractors from my upper cervical specialist in LA to make the drive down to Newport to see Dr. Brian at the recommendation of my dizziness specialist. From the very first visit, I knew that I had made the right choice when he assured me that his focus was on permanent healing versus constant adjustments indefinitely. He took time to answer all my questions, listen to my symptoms and then took X-Rays of my neck. From the very first adjustment I felt relief, and by the third adjustment, my headaches were gone, dizziness was improved, anxiety was much less and I began to feel more myself again. Now two months later, I feel back to my old self and can't thank Dr. Brian enough for all that he's done to literally hand me my life back. There's a reason why so many of his patients travel long distances to be seen by him--he's simply the best. read more

I can't thank Dr. Cripe enough for the amazing and unique experience I have had. Yes, it's different from other chiropractor care I have received in the past. However, it has had the most profound result, and I'm thrilled with the result! THRILLED!!! I highly recommend Dr. Cripe and his historic, unique technique! read more

I previously got too buck whippin' my pony around while singing karaoke. Following this event, I couldn't move appropriately and I was devastated. I found Cripe and found out I was super messed up. The X-ray was alarming and my hips resembled an old rusty see-saw, super cocked and crooked. After my FIRST alignment, I saw clearly and was able to actually turn my head right and left unlike the tin man. Life is good again. HUGE thanks to Cripe and Mary. I'm like a pain free bobble head again on an off road trail read more

Cripe Chiropractic - I am on my feet 10 hours a day, so my lower back and my feet has an off balance but this therapy is surely helping me! - Chiropractors Near Me - Newport Beach, California

March 2020 (at 36 year old) I got my first serious headache. I assumed it was stress related (I own an event rental company and we were obviously a very impacted industry from Covid). For months I did teledoc appts, met with doctors, chiropractors, accupuncturist, rheumatologist, etc. I cut gluten, got $500 inserts for my shoes, new pillows, glasses, meditated, stretched, etc etc etc. After 5 months of daily pain and motrin and muscle relaxer every morning, I thought I had a brain tumor until the pain moved to my neck. Some days I had neck pain and some days completely debilitating headaches where I couldn't even open my eyes or work on the computer or even play with my kids. One evening I was telling my girlfriend about my pain (I had multiple break downs at this point where I thought I would spend the rest of my life in pain) and she said she would send me the contact information for her chiropractor. I didn't think that was necessary because I was going to someone else 3 times a week, but she insisted this was different. After about 6 weeks (maybe only 1-2 times a week), I am completely cured. Cripe wants you to get better quick and not keep you going every other day like most chiropractors. I still can't explain the treatment (it just seems like some magic touch that he does near my ear.) Check out youtube videos to see the method, but just take it from me that it works. I am forever grateful for Cripe and for NUCCA. They saved my life. Ps. We later realized it was probably an accident from when I my 2 1/2 year old jumped on my neck when i was laying in the backyard, but I am sure the stress didn't help. Thank you Cripe and to my dear friend who gave me my life back. read more

Dr. Brian works wonders! Super professional and knew exactly what to do to relieve the pain i was having around my shoulders and necks. Highly recommended and staff was excellent as well. read more

Let me just start off by saying Dr. Cripe is the best thing that has ever happened to me (no joke). I got in a car accident earlier this year and got very bad whip lash. After a couple weeks of slacking off I finally decided to give him a chance. I was greeted by very friendly front staff, had a very in depth consultation about what was going to happen and then got started. The procedure it self was unlike any other I've had before, and at first I was beginning to doubt. However, I no longer had pain and due to my career that's pretty much impossible. They walk you through EVERYTHING, from the X-rays they take, to the measuring, to the adjustment itself. I have finally been released and feel better than EVER IN MY LIFE. Pain free and ready to work. I honestly recommend Dr. Cripe to literally everyone. They work magic here:) read more

Dr Cripe is amazing and seriously saved my life!!! I have been suffering with an off balance, vertigo, and left side body pain for 2 months, which included some of these symptoms: Off balance boat feeling, standing on ice feeling, floating head feeling, vision turning diagonal when bending left, picture frames and any stripes made me feel woozy, leaning to the left, pain in my neck, buttocks, and mid back. It was so debilitating that I was at a complete loss!! I saw so many specialists but could not find any answers. I found out from Dr Cripe that I had a major misalignment in my body and dislodged ear crystals found by the Vertigo and Dizzy Institute, and I feel I finally was able to find the help I was searching for!!! Dr. Cripe informed me that my right leg was 1" shorter than my left leg, and my head was overly tilted to the left. His adjustments are completely amazing!!! In one visit, my alignment was straightened out, and the pain disappeared! I was so impressed with everything and highly recommend you come here!!! read more

I've been coming here for years when I need help. At first I was skeptical because it's not your usual chiropractic treatment (which I can say is the reason I came here) After prior injuries and being poorly treated and actually being hurt even more through various treatments from other doctors I thought what do I have to lose. The initial exam consisted of two appointments. It's amazing how it works and how good I feel after. Now there are times I go too long in between and kick myself after when I realize what a difference it makes. Office is very efficient and friendly. For me it's a drive but well worth it!!!! read more

I simply cannot say enough great things about them. I put off for the last 5 years of extreme lower back pain and headaches because it was too much work to haul my behind in to Dr. Cripes office even though my husband, father-in-law, daughter and friends had been seeing the Cripe family Drs. for many many years. Dr. Glenn took my X-rays and said "how much damage was on the car that hit you". I thought he was joking until I remembered that I had been rear ended by at garbage truck when I was about 17. He nailed it. Said that's probably the cause of my 30 year headaches and lower back problems. The lower back had only surfaced about 4 years ago. Dr. Brian worked his magic (NO CRACKING) and I actually could feel the difference Immediately. At the beginning of our consultation, my left leg was almost 1 1/2 inches longer than my right. After Dr. Brian worked his magic...I'm now level! I show dogs professionally and I know will be able to run with them around the ring again. And a hug to Mary Lita (I'm probably spelling it wrong), you were the best and sweetest person ever. I cannot possibly write the words to thank them for giving my life back to me. I received a referral to Dr. Cripe many YEARS before I went to see him. The referral was from a PICU nurse who also sees Dr. Cripe. This kind of chiropractic treatment is like no other. It's gentle; more of a nudging; no cracking, no popping and there are x-rays before and after your first adjustment. My life has been changed. The two years of violent headaches, neck pain, jaw pain and facial pain are gone and were resolved in very few visits. If you're thinking of going...go! read more

After seeing the hip specialist ( cause that's where I felt it first) then back/neck specialist, 2 neurologists, 3 physical therapists, an RA doctor, AFTER multiple X-rays and numerous MRIs of all hip neck mid and lower back, being sent to the pain management doctor and being injected with cortisone, lidocaine, Botox ( the list goes on but you get the idea) AND after being treated for pain previously by conventional chiropractic I FINALLY MET DR CRIPE AND DR CRIPE.THIS IS NOT YOUR HEAD WHIPPING,NECK BREAKING CHIROPRACTOR!!! LET THEM TAKE THE X-RAYS ! No one and I saw everyone takes these views. This is a specialty, NUCCA is different ,more precise. It WAS my neck causing all this pain. This pain that now was causing swelling in my ankle, legs, numbness in both feet, one leg and that hip was killing me my low back my one shoulder! Is it covered by insurance no but what did insurance do for me? It cost me time, time spent in pain. Dr CRIPE 1st visit X-rays 2nd adjusted Then they just want you to follow up to see if you are holding the adjustment. I missed so much work for the appointments to all those doctors and they couldn't figure it out so they want to write a prescription. I am 37 and too young to have felt so old. read more

This guy talks politics the entire time you are getting an adjustment. I'm not interested in your politics, very rude and disconcerting to have this stuff spewed during a treatment. I know you are part of the 1% because of your car and office but I don't have to pay to listen to you talk about how bad everything is. I won't be back. read more
