    Seafood platter for two-three
    Dee M.

When criniti's first opened up, the food was different to what it is now. It had that authentic Italian flavours and it didn't matter what you ordered, it was always good, fresh and full of flavour. Not so sure anymore! It's become a bit mainstream, portions have lessoned and price has really increased! The last time I ate here I got the seafood platter which was ok, I liked that it didn't come out with chips! It just meant the grilled seafood could be enjoyed more. It came out with a small portion of noodles in a large shell which was surprisingly tasty. The platter was all grilled and had a great variety but the oysters weren't fresh. Overall, it's overpriced for average Italian food.

OVERPRICED and dull. Food was tasteless and service felt like they had something better to do. Wouldn't go back.

Food is just passable. The quality of the food you get isn't commensurate with the price. Service was pretty good.

Shocking service and poor attitude by waitress and manager. Food was cold and not all meals served together

They are now in Terminus Street surrounded by a number of other restaurants and the quality has dipped a little. These days they make lots of cheap and creamy pasta dishes for people who want quantity over quality. Several owners have run the restaurant during this time. They have veal dishes which you would never hear off in Italy and then there's the pizzas. Thanks goodness they have managed to maintain control over them. They also do a range of seafood dishes. But I must admit, on Saturday its hard to get a table. I guess a lot of people don't care what they eat as long as there is plenty of it. Great for groups and parties.

FOOD Fried scallops with bacon ($15.90) - not a fan, served with sweet chilli sauce which I don't think matched at all. Chilli mussels ($14.90) - underwhelming, not enough chilli bang! Vagu tortellini ($18.90) - good but I was expecting the portion size to be slight larger SERVICE Friendly but forgetful. We ordered a sparkling water and the waiter repeated what we said but brought out tap water. Fail. OVERALL For the quality of food and price you pay I'd say there are better Italian places in the Hills.

The Castle Hill store makes wonderfully tasty gourmet pizzas, salads and side dishes. They also make a form of pizza pie that are full of topping rather than having a flat pizza with topping: one is an olive tapenade and the other is Italian Sausage. Both of them are delicious and one will feed four people or my son! (he eats for four). The traditional pizza can be made as a traditional flavour combination or the more exotc gourmet pizzas. We often get one of each. You can sit and enjoy your pizza there as they have a seating in the window but generally they deliver or you can pick your pizza up. Being above Castle Mall, there is plenty of parking and their opening hours are extremely long. They have a very wide delivery area.

Checking their Facebook and finding many people complain about the customer service, i concluded it is their way. Online order system sucks, when it fails they still charge your credit card and no refund they say next time you order you get credit but you are given no record, you have to remember and ask. When online system failed we ordered same over the phone without knowing our credit card was charged. We did remember when two charge entries in the credit card statement and spent half an hour and talking to several people they are "convinced" to accept. I ordered the same items as failed order to avoid any confusion and when I went to pickup the attitude in store was like they are giving us free pizza. By the way charge they were not refunding and holding was $90. Last time order despite their pizza is good.
