So Fred the manager is "The Man". After starting new wireless service and being screwed up pretty…read morebadly by a field agent who shall remain nameless( I'll keep my petty side at bay for now), Fred was able to get me in touch with someone who could help untangle this huge messy ball of yarn of confusion that "The Field Agent" wove. This journey started April 8th and I walked in to my local ATT Corktown location and met a nice young lady who did her best to help but we didn't get far her manager wasn'tin on that day. Fast forward a week later I went back because hey may the manager is here today. VOILA! There he was Fred. I explained the mess as best as I could to bewildered facial expressions mixed with pitty and confusion. I gave him the names that I had, he deduced the info like Sherlock Holmes and AhhHa came up with someone to contact. He sent and email filled with my information and the nature of the issue. This was a Friday so he said let's give them until about Tuesday to contact you back. We'll Tuesday co.es and goes so I call back to the Corktown location and ask for the manager. I'm thinking may He can give me a name or number of someone I can contact myself.. He wasn't in the office that day But the same nice young lady who was well aware of my situation took my number down and said that she would give it to him. I don't know what happened in that time but I didn't receive a call back so a couple of days later I called back myself and this time I got Fred he was in. I let him know that no one had contacted me so he sent another email and he left a voicemail and he CCed Someone else. We think maybe this will get the ball rolling but in the meantime he gives me a telephone number and says Try this it might work when the automated system asks what you need say cancel my service service.. Then you're gonna go through the prompts to get to an agent when you get to an agent see if they'll be able to assist you. I spoke with someone They started working on my account we get 30 minutes in the line disconnects the person doesn't call me back I get frustrated but I call back anyway finally I get someone Jolie and she's able to help me.. So after A month and a 1/2 of getting nowhere Fred was able to get me from 0 to someone someone can help me in less than 20 minutes on his phone call. Thank you so much and the staff there are really really helpful.

So of course I took it to apple & they said, there is no way to fix this. I was crushed, as I was a new to iPhone/ apple user and hadn't backed up my phone . They told me there was a place in NY that could possibly retrieve my data, I was most concerned with the photos, but they said it could be upwards of 10k$$ . There was just no way. So I saved the phone hoping one day some tech savvy person would be able to breath life back into my phone & retrieve its memories. That day has finally come!!! I dropped my old phone that wouldn't even turn on to Rich. He made no promises but said he would try his best. It took almost a week, but was absolutely worth it!!! He was able to change out the whole housing of the phone & get it to turn on!!! Once I got there, I put in my 4 digit pin code & to my surprise it pulled up everything!!!!! When I got home, I poured through the photos & videos of when my kids were little & was able to read some old text messages from dad, he passed away a little over a year ago & let's just say this fix was not just AWESOME, but invaluable to myself & my family. ***** If you have read this far, please go see my hero, Rich @ cellular repair center.
