I purchased two window a/c units last year which re covered under my Total Tech warranty. The…read morelarger of the two units started freezing. I called total tech to verify it was covered under warranty. It was still covered however I would have to bring it back to the store for them to look at it. I explained to her that it not possible since I am a single person and the unit was too large for me to bring back nor do I have the tools to uninstall it. So I went to the store and talked to customer service lady who told me the same thing and I explained the situation to her she passed me on to someone else who said they could do a return pick up and gave me a number to call last Monday. Called the number, he put me on hold and never came back on the phone. So go back to the store talked to Hazel who said they do fix window units in home and she called the correct geek squad number for me and they set up an appointment to have someone come out on Friday. Brandon ( geek squad) called me the day before the appointment to tell me that they still have to send the unit off for repair so if I wanted to cancel or keep the appointment. I said keep the appointment so that he can uninstall it and bring it back to the store (85.52) He came as scheduled and realized he could not take the unit out the window by himself. So he called his supervisor and he goes back to the store. I received a call about an hour later stating that they were going to swipe out the unit and reimburse me the $85.52 but I was going to have to pay $150 for the new unit to be installed and for them to uninstall the old unit. So went to Best Buy store talked to Hazel again she found a unit the same size but I ended up paying $215. I paid it thinking I would get the $85.52 back. They set up appointment for the 3rd party to come uninstall and install. I ended up texting Brandon on Monday about still haven't received refund( no response) called Brandon and left a voicemail on Tuesday. He finally responded by text on Wednesday to call the geek squad number to have them authorize the refund. Called the number on the phone 30 minutes for this guy to tell me the refund was denied because I paid for Brandon to come out to diagnose the problem. But he did not diagnose and couldn't remove the unit. I'm out $297. I probably would have done better calling a a/c unit repair person to look at the window unit to find out why it's freezing. Normally I do not buy warranties on appliances because 9/10 the appliance last longer than the warranty. Before I buy an appliance from BB I will ask if the appliance is covered and how do they repair it? Do you repair in home or I would have to bring it back. Been dealing with Best Buy for over a week now.

Anyone who cares, I…read moream writing a review on a recent interaction with Conn's corporate which was VERY disappointing. What started out as a decent experience has ended in disaster. Today was an epic fail with a feeling of what I will now refer to as "Conn-ed". From a bait-and-switch on delivery dates, to less than stellar customer service. DETAILS: - [2/15] I had a decent web experience ordering an item, I received an email confirmation with an order number. It mentioned that I will receive a notification when it's ready for delivery. - [2/16] I received another email with a different order number and an updated status of Delivery Scheduled and a scheduled date of 3/7. It also mentioned I will receive an automated call the day before to verify and inform me of the time of arrival. - [3/6 - 11:30am] I received an email indicating you are headed to my address and that I needed to confirm the delivery address by 5pm which I did. - [3/6 - 7:16pm] I received another email indicating my 3-hour window was between 10:30am and 1:30pm. It also provides a number to call for questions (972-225-9973) which doesn't work. I took off of work to receive this item. - [3/7] I received an email today indicating order number has a status of Awaiting Inventory and is out of stock until 3/13. - [3/7] I called the last number provided (972-225-9973) to get an update which failed. I then tried 844-894-0717 and was asked for my phone number. When they couldn't look me up by the number I provided the agent started to give up. I asked if they could use an order number instead. Reluctantly they looked up my order number. As I was giving the last order number provided they indicated this was not valid. After searching through email I pulled out the first "order number" Conn's had sent . They told me this was an online order and would need to transfer me. I again went through the same process which was now getting frustrating. The agent told me the order wasn't actually scheduled for delivery even though I had already received multiple notifications stating differently. After an exasperating experience I told her to cancel my order because I had no faith Conn's would honor the reschedule. I then called the General Customer Service number listed on your web site ((877) 358-1252) to make a customer service complaint and found it interesting your phone tree will not allow me to speak with someone. This is a terrible customer experience in so many ways. I rarely spend time following up on these types of interactions. This has been so incredibly bad I had to let others know. I'm doubting they will do anything to "make it right" or use it to improve their customer service improvement. Buyer beware when making an online order lest you be Conn-ed. Multiple Phone Numbers (one that doesn't even work) - 844-894-0717 - 866-765-1513 - 844-894-0717 - 972-225-9973 - doesn't work - (877) 358-1252
