The carry used phones for the majority of the providers in addition to being a Cricket, T-Mobile, and Verizon authorized dealer. My mom had recently told me that her cell phone kept powering off for no apparent reason. I started researching and looking for her replacement phone. I didn't want to renew her contract so I checked CL, and a few local stores for suitable hardware. I'll explain that my mom needs the most basic of cell phones. On a recent visit, I viewed AT&T phones and the agent explained that some were used while others on a certain shelf were new. I found what I thought was a good fit for my mom and asked to examine the phone. I picked from the "new phone shelf". The Nokia looked like a winner; but I noticed this new phone had a gash in the back? A "New" phone to me comes with the original box, manual, accessories, and plastic wrapped everything. I ended up purchasing the phone with a discount off asking price. The agent presented the phone to me in a generic box with the OEM phone charger. No manual, but the earbuds were there. When I say generic box, it's an aftermarket mobile phone box with some girls giggling staring at a Motorola Razr. The agent as well as the customers tolerated a tired cranky little Rooster and even gave him a dummy phone to keep. While I don't appreciate them passing off used phones as new; we are at this point satisfied with the purchase. The phone as of right now is traveling thru New Mexico without issue. Here's a three star nod with some advice to pay attention what you get.
